“We are a rescue that was transporting a Foxhound, pulled from a high-skill shelter in SC to our rescue in SE Minnesota. We were unable to secure a volunteer to do overnight boarding for our girl Charlene. I was apprehensive but, I did a search on Rover.com for an overnighter in the Greensburg IN area. Kayla W appeared. I asked the questions, she responded. It was a late drop-off and an early pick-up; no problem, Kayla could and did accommodate us. This woman is top-notch. About: Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I began working in a dog boarding facility during my high school years and followed the animal track into my college education and became a licensed veterinary technician. I have pet sitting and veterinary working experience with dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and horses. I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice as a licensed veterinary technician for 4 years, then moved to an equine only veterinary practice for close to 5 years and currently at an equine veterinary practice employed as a registered veterinary technician. I have a 2 year old spayed golden retriever who travels everywhere with me as well as a 10 year old shorthair female spayed cat who enjoys her days sunbathing in the sunshine. I work full time as a registered veterinary technician; I typically work 4 days a week with one day off and approximately every 4th weekend at the clinic. I have availability in the evenings, days off, and most weekends. My golden girl loves to play and have company and the cat will offer her cuddles as well during in home stays. I constantly observe the pets I care for and make sure they are happy and healthy. I tailor my care for each individual; whether they enjoy multiple walks, adventures, or just want extra cuddles their happiness is my top priority.

About: I am 26 raised up on a farm my whole life. I have been apart of 4-h since the age of 6 and still currently volunteering in their program as well as helping my two foster boys in it. We have Pygmy goats, llamas, Alpacas, cats, birds, donkeys, heagehogs, a chinchilla and 3 dogs. I also have experience with snakes, turtles, ferrets, sugar gliders, pot belly pig, parrots, fish, skunk, deer, horses, rabbits, and fox,. I’m able to handle any and all pets and anything your loved one might need. Please note that if you are planning on boarding with me I do have small children and cats, so a meet and greet is non negotiable and must be done before the stay. When boarding your pets they will have one on one care with myself, let out every 2-4 hours and will be walked in the yard always on a leash (unless requested otherwise). We have a large yard with lots of space for furry friends to play and have a fun. My dogs are very well behaved and typically will stay close by, when we’re in an unfamiliar area they are always on a leash or on a line fixed to a post or tree. I am very familiar with rambunctious pups who get over excited and need to be leashed at all times. My dogs need to be crated at night so doing the same for another dog is no issue.
About: I grew up around untrained dogs, not afraid of any animal. I had two cats of my own and raised them from kittens so I’m great with cats!! I am nice and patient and have never been one for caging in animals unless it’s to travel to appointments, so your little loved ones will always be free to wander with me. I like to give them freedom to explore. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. I like to play a lot and encourage activities. I try to put on interactive games and toys are highly encouraged to bring! I do freelance work so if I’m pet sitting your baby will be the number one priority! Open space apartment, I like to be outside a lot so I will spend a majority of time allowing your pet to be free and safe if they’re an outside animal. We have local shops within a mile that allow cats so if you’re open, I can allow your pet to go for outdoor time.

“We are a rescue that was transporting a Foxhound, pulled from a high-skill shelter in SC to our rescue in SE Minnesota. We were unable to secure a volunteer to do overnight boarding for our girl Charlene. I was apprehensive but, I did a search on Rover.com for an overnighter in the Greensburg IN area. Since Finnley is selective with humans, we met with Hugh several days before leaving Finnley. There were no issues, so that indicated that Finny approved of Hugh which is important to us. Hugh sent pictures and texts of how things were going so we were well informed. We would leave Finny with Hugh again when needed.”

About: Pets have been part of my life since I was a child. I began working in a dog boarding facility during my high school years and followed the animal track into my college education and became a licensed veterinary technician. I have pet sitting and veterinary working experience with dogs, cats, cattle, chickens, and horses. I worked in a mixed animal veterinary practice as a licensed veterinary technician for 4 years, then moved to an equine only veterinary practice for close to 5 years and currently at an equine veterinary practice employed as a registered veterinary technician. I have a 2 year old spayed golden retriever who travels everywhere with me as well as a 10 year old shorthair female spayed cat who enjoys her days sunbathing in the sunshine. I work full time as a registered veterinary technician; I typically work 4 days a week with one day off and approximately every 4th weekend at the clinic. I have availability in the evenings, days off, and most weekends. My golden girl loves to play and have company and the cat will offer her cuddles as well during in home stays. I constantly observe the pets I care for and make sure they are happy and healthy. I tailor my care for each individual; whether they enjoy multiple walks, adventures, or just want extra cuddles their happiness is my top priority.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a cowboy corgi. I have also pet sat friends dogs and mini pigs! I'm ready to treat your family like my family. I work full time second shift at the local sheriff department as a dispatcher. My dog is not crated during this time. I do come home on my hour lunch break and let her out and play with her. I have a tie out for potty breaks and a large house to run around. Also visits to the dog park or tractor supply for a bath and some treats.

About: I am 26 raised up on a farm my whole life. I have been apart of 4-h since the age of 6 and still currently volunteering in their program as well as helping my two foster boys in it. We have Pygmy goats, llamas, Alpacas, cats, birds, donkeys, heagehogs, a chinchilla and 3 dogs. I also have experience with snakes, turtles, ferrets, sugar gliders, pot belly pig, parrots, fish, skunk, deer, horses, rabbits, and fox,. I'm a stay at home foster mom with teen boys who can take care of their self for the most part which makes my schedule open We have a large yard and a fenced in are out back. Our dogs love to play with others but would rather come to your pets home where they are most comfortable
About: Ive dog sat for my sisters who both have giant dogs more than I can count and I’ve kept my fathers friends service dog. I love animals and it just feels right I currently work part time so it’s easy to work something out ! All I ask is to ask and let me see what I can do to help! I currently don’t have a dog but I’m looking! My yard isn’t fenced but it it however quite big and if needed I will walk them out there with a leach! My house is big and they are allowed to come inside!
