About: IMPORTANT— I will be in Connecticut from 12/20-1/3. All other dates I will be in Indiana. Unfortunately there is no way to specify location for specific dates in Rover. If you have any questions please let me know! I have taken care of pets my whole life (my own and others). I have two of my own dogs currently — at 70 lb Shepherd x Dalmatian and a 25 lb Jack Russel x Aussie, both of which can get rowdy so I am no stranger to high energy pets! I am happy to help work on basic commands and will make sure your pet gets plenty of physical and mental exercise! I am a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking in on pets and I typically like to spend >1 hour with them a day. I can provide medications and/or any specific care that your dog might require. I am a graduate student and my schedule can be flexible! For boarding— my own dogs wake me up at 6 am to eat and then often like to go outside around 8 after some more snoozing. As a student I can be gone from 9-5 occasionally, but more often it is 11-4 or something similar. On average I am gone between 4-8 hours at a time depending on my schedule. During the day we usually play and I give them different enrichment toys. When I am home I let the dogs out frequently to romp in the yard! Dinner is around 5 and then usually a calm evening. My weekends I am usually home for the entire day. For at home visits or walks— I am happy to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I can offer up to 3 visits per day and can spend various amounts of time with your pet based on their needs. For boarding—I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs who are friendly (albeit loud) and would love to run around with your dog! I do have a crate in the house for your dog if needed. When I am gone my own dogs are closed in my bedroom and I would likely close your pet(s) in a separate room as well— your pet does not need to be crate trained if they are non destructive! Because I do have pets of my own any boarded dogs need to be dog and cat friendly. For home visits and walks— I am slow to introduce myself with each visit to make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their home as it can be stressful!! I typically sit with pets before immediately going for the leash to make sure they feel safe. I am happy to spend time with your pets beyond walking/feeding! In am able to stay for longer periods of time in the evenings to play or sit and just spend time with them. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and will prioritize your pets comfort.

About: Giants are my passion! I have driven to the far side of Texas, Arkansas, Canadian US boarder, Florida, Ocean side of Virginia and everything in between to rescue Giants from all walks of life and age. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in, or an overnight stay, you can count on me to give your dog the same love and attention I give my own. 🐾 I work part-time and have a solid routine in place for my own fur babies at home. Mornings usually start with a potty break or walk if needed, followed by breakfast and a quick house check to make sure everything’s safe and tidy before I head out. I often come home on my lunch breaks to let the dogs out again, and I’m usually home between 4 and 5 in the afternoon for another potty break, dinner, and some relaxing downtime together. I’m flexible with feeding and walk times and can easily adjust my schedule to make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I genuinely enjoy walks and love including them as part of my daily routine! Since I have two dogs of my own, I don’t offer overnight house sitting away from my home, but I’m happy to do drop-in visits and spend quality time with your pets while you’re away. I can come by for walks, playtime with their favorite toy or ball, or even practice basic commands using training treats or a clicker. I can also host them at my house for a stay! When your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated just like family, loved, cared for, and included in daily life. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for running and playing. I do my best to follow the same routines and training methods you use at home, so your pet feels comfortable and confident while in my care. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and sense of routine always come first!
“This was our dogs' first stay with anyone new. They were both anxious & kept peeing & pooping in Surama's home because of it, even though she was taking them out very often. Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. She also sent pictures of them playing with her family & other dogs, which my daughter especially appreciated. Surama was so kind & we will definitely use her in the future.😊👍”
About: I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs, there’s never been a time we didn’t have at least two. Since I was 10, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and over the years, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs like my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’m especially comfortable caring for older or sick dogs, including giving oral medications and providing gentle, patient support when they need it most. I know how much your dog means to you—because I feel the same way about mine. I’m a student at Purdue University studying food science. However, I have a flexible schedule and lots of free time. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m here to give your dog the love and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During drop-in visits or walks, I make sure your dog feels secure, happy, and well cared for in their own familiar space. I follow any instructions you provide closely whether that’s feeding, medications, or routines so your dog stays comfortable and stress-free. I also send photo updates so you can see how your baby is doing while you’re away!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and I love them all. I’m good about watching temperament in animals and making sure everything is going smoothly. I can do simple training like sit and lie down. I can’t wait to meet and love on your pup/senior. :) I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. My job is pretty lax when it comes to coming and going! I get an hour lunch break around 1:30. Once I’m off at 4 I’m usually home for the night, but if I’m not your pet will be with me or crated! Whether we are burning energy with interactive toys or cuddling on the couch, your pets comfort and routine come first. I provide fresh water always, stick to your feeding schedules, and will give update pictures throughout their stay!
