“Melody and her lovely daughters were fantastic!! This is the first time we have ever had to consider boarding our dogs and it was a stressful decision, UNTIL we found Rover and Melody. We left the country for 2 weeks and we were very concerned about our dogs, especially the 7 month old puppy who can jump our chain link fence and has done it regularly. With Melody I felt extremely confident for 2 reasons: I trusted Melody when we met and her fence is 5.5 ft tall. We received tons of photos of our pups playing with her dogs and receiving lots of love from the daughters. About: Me and my family have taken care of all kinds of pets for years: dogs, birds, and lizards. I’ve had dogs all my life, and others often rely on me and my daughter to take care of their pets! I’m working a part time job and also have to check in on my parents. We communicated daily and responses were a bit dry and pictures that were promised were never sent unless I had texted again the next day. Customer service/communication could have been a bit better. Im sure stormy had a nice time playing with the other dogs besides one issue that was brought up to me.”

“I wish I could give Jeannette more than 5 stars! Jeannette agreed to watch our indoor/outdoor cat and keep an eye on our chickens while we were away. I had no idea she had never been around chickens before—you would never have guessed! We had a hen sitting on a nest and had calculated that the eggs would hatch after we got home... we were wrong! While we were away, several chicks started hatching. Jeannette didn't panic—she jumped right in. She went out and bought supplies, made sure the chicks were cared for, and handled everything like a pro, even hatching 4 chicks at her house. She also completely won over our cat, who now seems to love her more than us! Jeannette went so far above and beyond anything we expected. She treated our pets as if they were her own, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. I recommend her with my highest recommendation. If you're looking for someone who truly cares and will go the extra mile, Jeannette is the one!”
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, so I love to help take care of them and love on them! I’ve also looked after plenty of animals for family and friends when they’re out of town, with one family friend having me come back to dog sit for them for the last three years! Right now, I’m home from college for the summer, and don’t have a job, so my schedule is pretty free unless I have an appointment or other things going on on a certain day! I don’t offer boarding for pets in my own home unfortunately, but for my clients, I will make sure all their needs are met and more, playing with them and making sure they’re doing great before I leave for the day.

“We we're nervous about leaving our reactive dog with someone who didn't have experience handling animals with special needs. So when I read that Saga had years of kennel tech experience and had pitties of her own, we decided to proceed with a meet and greet with Saga, and she immediately stole the hearts of both dogs. She has a gentle nature that animals and people gravitate toward. Our pets received excellent care and on-time drop in visits over a holiday weekend. She sent us pics along the way that made us super comfortable with our first Rover experience. And she was super responsible about keeping our indoor cats inside while taking the dogs in and out, which was another worry of ours. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old and have experience with all different types of animals: dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and small animals like chinchillas, hamsters and birds. In addition to pet sitting, I have a long work history in the vet field working as a veterinary assistant, so I am able to administer medications and work with senior dogs or dogs with disabilities. I also have extensive dog training experience from training pets in basic obedience to task trained service animals. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old and have experience with all different types of animals: dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and small animals like chinchillas, hamsters and birds. In addition to pet sitting, I have a long work history in the vet field working as a veterinary assistant, so I am able to administer medications and work with senior dogs or dogs with disabilities. I also have extensive dog training experience from training pets in basic obedience to task trained service animals. I absolutely love animals, and love helping other families with their amazing pets. Dog training and boarding are my full time jobs, so I am always around to ensure your pets have the absolute best care. Meaning lots of play time, time outside, and tons of cuddles. I myself have four very well behaved and friendly dogs at home, one being my medical alert service dog. I also have a dog room set up specifically for pups, where they can play or take a nap on huge dog bed. Ruffland Kennels are available for crating as well if your pet is crate trained. While our yard is not fenced, Dogs are always leashed or on a long line and supervised while outside. I also have a slat mill and dog pacer treadmill to provide plenty of exercise during inclement weather. I can also provide plenty of enrichment via puzzle toys, lick mats and kongs which is important for mental stimulation.
About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs through family and personal experience! I’ve pet sat for my brother’s four large dogs in his home, making sure they were fed, exercised, given plenty of attention, and kept on their normal routine while he was away. My sister recently adopted a puppy and I puppy sit him overnight every other weekend as well, I help potty train and with socializing him. I live in a spacious four-bedroom condo-style apartment with access to a fenced-in dog park, giving dogs a secure place to play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to keep them on their usual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by their owner. When I’ve cared for my siblings’ dogs, they’ve slept in bed with me (if that’s what they’re used to), and I bring them with me whenever it’s appropriate so they’re rarely left alone. I do not have a fenced yard at my house, I always stay with my puppy weather on leads or ecollar. We have an electric fence but I ensure nothing can come into our yard(other animals, people etc). If we do not use the electric fence we use a long lead. At a clients home if they have a fenced yard I would still never leave an animal unattended, that’s just me personally. I would love to spend time with your pets outside, maybe we can play a little or if your fur babies just wanna soak up some sun and relax, I’m here for it all! If the client does not have a fenced yard I would use a long lead or regular leash and never leave the pup pup unattended. For safety both in my own home or clients I utilize a crate if necessary, and positive reinforcement for good behavior! I also have experience with muzzles and other tools(collars, leads, head leads, etc) Its not only about protecting me and others but to ensure the safety of the animal as well. About: Hi! I’m Morgan, I HUGE animal lover, I have 4 dogs Campbell, Charlie, Zues, and Layla, 2 of them being rescue pups. I am wanting to help you with your pet needs while you’re gone, doggie daycare, or walks or even just drop in feeds and loves!
