It was a short notice booking which Destinee gladly accepted. It was my first time leaving Katniss with anyone but our vet. Destinee quickly put my mind at ease with her knowledge and experience with rescues she has dealt with. She kept me informed of how Katniss was doing. Katniss did great! Because of Katniss's seizures we have struggled with finding the appropriate flea meds for her. Destinee gave me suggestions for more natural products that we plan to check into. “Shelby was FANTASTIC with our Sherman. He was very nervous when we left him (he has separation anxiety). Not only did he seem to do well after we left (the pictures she sent us spoke volumes about his mood), but when i picked him up he was excited to see us as always but instead of running straight to the car and waiting at the door for us as he usually does when we pick him up from someone he did a couple of excited circles and had to run back to give one of Shelbys pups a kiss goodbye. He often stays with my sister and he loves her and her dogs but he never runs back to the door for any reason. He was so relaxed and clearly worn out feom playing so much. Shelby is terrific. Also dog massages for the senior dogs helps tons with their aches and pains and I more than willing to assist. It actually puts them in a calming trance. Cats and I are a sort of soul mate (maybe it’s the name haha) but I have dealt with watching 5 cats at an owners house and 3 of the 5 had special medical needs that I was more than happy to help!
