“Sherri & Lee, were SO GREAT with our Charlie Girl. She is old and uncertain of new environments. We did a couple of prior boarding afternoons. And an overnight so Charlie would know where she was and the new place. She did wonderfully for 2 weeks due to them caring for her attentively. I was at peace our entire trip to visit two sets of grandchildren knowing Charlie was in the BEST of hands. We will have her back with them in May for another week. Sherri is great, understands dogs and cares for all shapes and sizes!!! Thank you, Bev & Larry & Charlie”

“Crystal and her family took amazing care of Maiya and we felt that our puppy was not only taken great care of but became a part of their family while we were gone. She kept us posted and shared pictures so we could see our pup. I would highly recommend.”

“My cat was safe and sound with Carrie. Very much an animal lover. Would definitely go through Carrie again. Panther says "thank you." I appreciate having a peaceful day at work knowing she was in good hands.”

“My dog really enjoyed staying with Lynelle! He was incredibly comfortable from the moment I dropped him off! She updated me with pictures frequently, kept me updated on his eating and sleeping! I was nervous about him being away from me for the first time and she made it so easy. I will absolutely be booking with her again! I’m very particular about who I let watch my animals after being in the pet industry for 10 years…and I can confidently say Lynelle is a rare find!”

“Soul loved staying with this family. After they dropped him off, he went back searching for them to get another chance to play with her kids. Pick up and drop off were so smooth and I loved the picture she sent me of my puppy! Thank you for taking such good care of him!”

“My Corgi girl loved her stay with Diana and Kevin. She received excellent care with plenty attention to play and cuddle time. I highly recommend this care provider.”

“Emily is amazing. If I could give a higher rating I would. She even went the extra mile and had a little birthday party for Charlie. I’m grateful to have found her and I will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“Jamie is the absolute best! My boys did great with her and her dog. She is great at updating on the stay and sends pictures which I loved. When it came time for pickup, Jamie was very understanding and accommodating when we got delayed a little on our return home. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! We appreciate you!”

“We felt so comfortable after leaving our golden with Julie!! She sent us updates and photos all the time, and we could tell right away her dogs and our dog would get along perfectly. Her animals are so sweet and so is Julie! We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future! Thank you to you and your family for taking such incredible care of our girl!!”

“Marissa and her husband were so great with our high-energy pups! Her dog Dewey is sweet and playful with other dogs, and they came home exhausted. They had a clean, safe home and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“I’ve used a lot of sitters here on Rover, and Jason is the best by a long shot! His love for animals shows in how well he takes care of them; my anxious girl LOVES Jason and knows she’s going to have a fun day every time she sees him. He’s a great communicator, and will always act in the best interest of your pet. Not to mention, I’ve gotten some of the best quality photos of my pretty girl from Jason!”

“Brittany was super nice and took very good care of Dobby for us while we were away. She sent us pics to keep us updated on how he was doing. He was happy to see us when we picked him up, but also tried to go back in with her when we left to go home so I'd say that speaks for itself.”

“My dog Kobe had a great experience for 4 days being taken care by Rajesh. Words cannot describe how happy we are and now my dog is missing Rajesh and wants to go back.”

“Mallory was absolutely amazing with Harvey & Jack🤍 She kept me updated throughout their stay, made them feel comfortable, & treated them like her own! Harvey immediately bonded with her (which says a lot because he’s very shy), & Jack came home happy, tired, & well cared for. She was attentive, communicative, & clearly loves animals. I would absolutely trust her with my boys again & highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, & patient with dogs of all personalities & sizes!”

“Jett had a wonderful time! I think he wanted to stay longer & play 😂 We were thrilled to get tons of pictures and videos of our baby as well as really good communication while we were away. Thank you for taking such good care of him and I know he’s looking forward to the next play date!”

“The most amazing sitter ever! Alana was flexible with the dates and able to change last minute. She took such good care of my dog, sent pictures all the time, and updated me with everything. He was so so happy staying with her & had the best time! Can not say how much I recommend Alana!!”
“Surama & her family must have given her the attention she always wants because she seemed happy and well cared for when we picked her up. Thank you Surama we appreciate you caring for her.”

“Mary is fantastic--a true animal lover. She even got our shy cat, Chika, to allow petting. It was great to be on our vacation, knowing that someone trustworthy and kind was looking after our adored cats. We will be using her services on all of our vacations.”

“The pictures she sent were great and showed Ziti having a wonderful time, she got some porch hangout sessions and tunnel play! Allison is very kind and has great communication. Thanks for taking care of my angel!”

“Beth was awesome. She met with us and our cats on short notice before our trip and took lots of photos every day petting and playing with our boys (and giving them treats!). She was quick to reply as well and our cats really seemed to like her. The morning after her last visit (the day we were coming home) I checked my living room camera and saw one of my cats waiting by the door for her, so I knew we hired the right person.”

“Mariana did a great job caring for Cosmo - taking him out for walks and to do his business. She also made sure he got his meds and followed up and got our house key back to us in a timely fashion.”

“Crystal was reliable and provided me with updates for my pets. I appreciate that she clarified any questions about my pets’ care to ensure their needs were met. My dogs like Crystal and I was relieved to know they were in good hands. I will definitely use Crystal again!”

I am well-versed in feline enrichment—from providing high-perch views to safe hiding spots—ensuring your cat feels secure, stimulated, and loved while you are away.

About: I’ve grown up caring for cats and have experience with both indoor and outdoor environments. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure each cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Wow!!! First time using Rover. It was very easy. But this review is for Emily and her fiancé. I took my cat Fluffy over for a meet and greet. Before we even met Emily and her fiance, a customer of theirs told us out side that we are going to Love them, they are great! Fluffy warmed up to Emily very quickly. Before leaving that day I was convinced Emily was the best decision for Fluffy. While away she sends updates and pictures. Very informative and responsive. I had no worries at all. I can't say enough good about this family. I know they are loving and kind. I feel like they treat each pet as their own. You will not be disappointed!! We will definitely be using them again in the Future.”
About: I have my own dog. I've grown up with dogs. I worked at a pet store when I was a teenager, and have house/pet sat before. Although, I'm not a vet, I'm observant and will keep an eye out for issues that concern you. Pet health is important. That includes nutrition and grooming. I know some think there is such a thing as over involved pet parents, I think they're family and should be treated as such. I volunteer at my church every Thursday, Backpack Program fifth Wednesdays (when they occur) and Orphan Grain Train every other month on the third Thursday. Otherwise, I take care of my dad who has COPD. I have to be home to cook for him. And take care of my own dog. Eventually, I will allow dogs to stay with me overnight, but I want to make sure my dog and said dogs get along. So that is my availability. I have a pitbull mix. She is very good around other dogs. Especially after she gets to know them. She's not aggressive, just tends to hump when excited. All dogs will need a leash if they are coming with me. I have walking trails in my community. I have no problem walking your dogs in them. Please make sure they have up to date tick meds. Also I live with my dad he will be petting and loving any pet that spends the night. My house is two story, so if you have a senior dog that needs help just let me know.

About: I enjoyed having cats and dogs growing up. As an adult, I have taken care of both cats and dogs for friends. I also worked/volunteered at a local shelter for years. working with puppies. old, big, little and traumatized dogs. I can run with those that want to. Additionally, I’m good at fetch and tug-of-war. I have commercial auto insurance coverage for your pet in my care. And I have uploaded a copy of my PetCare Insurance in my photos that covers potential incidents in your home, my home and in the park. I’ve given medication’s. I will follow your instructions to the letter and I don’t have an opinion. I have a lot of free time while I’m working on a book and don’t really need the money. I just would love the experience. I think the most important part is safety. PetCare Insurance for the unforeseen, but vigilance eliminates a lot of that. Pets are often curious and you need to make sure they’re not getting into harms way. When I take your dog for a walk, I won’t be on my phone because you need to be on the lookout for potential danger. I can take your dog to the park, around the neighborhood, for a drive or just stand in the yard. It’s all up to you. I will follow your instructions without opinion.
About: ABOUT ME: Completely insured WITH Animal Bailee Insurance and Vet Protection Coverage through PCI. I have been on and off Rover since I was in college and own my small business. Currently, I have a tuxedo kitty named, Mr. Sir. His is my laid back, street rat, expert hunter that does not like to be indoors. I have currently have a flock of 14 chickens. This is my second flock of chickens owned since 2019. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. Therefore I am always available for drop-ins and pup walks throughout the week and weekends. I am completely insured with $1M general liability, Animal Bailee Insurance, and Vet Protection Coverage. I care for pets in the same way I would care for my own pets, like family. Play time, walks, relaxing on the couch, eating treats, you know... just hanging out.
About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

“Dustin’s service is great for someone who’s already doing daycare, or even in somebody else’s home, what he offers is so much more and better. Other places we tried were good and the people were sweet, but our pup just wasn’t getting the quality outdoor time and exercise. Our boy, Laszlo, would get stressed sometimes too with these other dogs at a crowded daycare. Dustin has been the perfect fit for us and Laszlo. We are very thankful.”

“Meg was absolutely fantastic and a life saver. Coming from Chicago, We got last minute tickets to the IU/Purdue game and were then headed to Indy to see family after. Needed somewhere to put the doggy for 3-4 hours. Even though she already had 2 dogs to watch, she accommodated us with essentially a couple hours notice and took great care of tyko. Thank you so much!”

“Jo and Jess are great dog sitters! They watched my small dog, Coconut, for one day of daycare and I plan on utilizing their services again. Jo is clearly great with dogs; my pup warmed up to her almost instantly and their personal dog, Ruby, is exceptionally well-trained and friendly with both people and other dogs. I would definitely recommend Jo and Jess!”

“Jessica is incredibly quick to respond, kind, patient, and clearly cares about each dog’s individual needs and safety. They have a beautiful home with a large, well-maintained fenced yard, and it’s obvious they go above and beyond to make the dogs feel comfortable and well cared for. I would definitely recommend them!”

About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. We also recently built a mini dog park in our back yard for dogs who prefer to be off leash, but also need to be supervised while outside.
“As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous leaving our dog with a sitter, but Rebecca & Jonathan did an incredible job and quickly put our minds at ease. They were attentive, trustworthy, and took great care of our dog. We truly appreciated the experience and would absolutely book with them again! 10/10 would recommend!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Beth was everything we could hope for. Our dog is pretty skittish, but Beth endeared herself to our anxious pup in no time. Beth communicated well, posted pictures, and did everything I asked of her. We highly recommend Beth and will definitely call on her again!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years and have experience with both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I also worked for a woman who owned her own Yorkie breeding business for a year, where I helped care for puppies and adult dogs daily. Along with that experience, I’ve helped neighbors, friends, and family with feeding, walking, playtime, overnight care, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. I’ve also worked with cats for 2 years, and they’re one of my favorite animals to care for. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet like they’re my own. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet parent’s needs. I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, overnight care, and extended stays depending on availability. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and any special instructions to make sure every pet feels secure and cared for. I create a calm, positive environment and make sure pets get plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and attention while in my care. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident and worry-free.
About: What sets me apart is the care and attention I bring to every pet. I don’t just love animals, I notice the small details, follow their routines closely, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. As a dedicated dog parent, I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and energy levels, including senior dogs who need a slower pace and extra support, puppies who require consistent supervision and routine, and pets who need additional patience or reassurance in new environments. I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications, following detailed care instructions, and maintaining specific feeding schedules, including pets with special diets or picky eating habits. I’m also used to managing multiple care needs at once, such as balancing walks, feeding routines, and medication timing for more than one pet in a household. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet owners, so I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication throughout each stay or visit. For example, I make it a point to share how your pet is adjusting, how they’re eating, and any little personality moments that help you feel connected while you’re away. My goal is for your pets to feel relaxed, loved, and well cared for, like they’re on their own little vacation. 🥰 Since I am a student completing school online, I spend a lot of my time at home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and dedicate plenty of attention to the pets in my care. I love being able to take breaks from studying to spend time with animals, whether that’s going for a walk, providing companionship, or keeping them on their normal routine while their owners are away. My own dogs are a big part of my daily life, so caring for animals already fits naturally into my routine. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, attention, and feeling comfortable in their own environment, and I’m happy to provide that extra love and care when you can’t be there. Animals are my passion, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. As a dedicated “helicopter dog parent,” I understand how important it is to feel confident and at ease when leaving your pets in someone else’s care. For dog walking, I ensure each walk is safe, enjoyable, and tailored to your dog’s needs—whether that means an energetic outing or a relaxed stroll with plenty of sniff time. I’m experienced with a range of personalities, leash behaviors, and special requirements. For in-home care, I maintain your pet’s normal routine and provide attentive, reliable care while you’re away. I have experience with both cats and dogs, including administering medications, following detailed instructions, and managing feeding schedules. I take time to understand each pet’s unique personality, preferences, and comfort needs.
About: Have taken care of animals most of my life. I usually babysit/check on animals and let them out for our neighbors dogs before we moved from Indiana to Wickenburg. I currently do not have a full time job. My husband is usually gone for work during the day so I am home all day. We do not have a fenced in yard, but can take them out with a leash. We have one cat, and one small dog. We usually have to take our dog and walk with her to go to the bathroom.

About: I have over a year of pet-sitting experience and have cared for animals throughout my life, including my own family pets. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. While I am not a professional pet trainer, I believe consistency, patience, and clear communication go a long way. I treat pets much like young children—helping reinforce good habits, routines, and expectations through positive guidance and repetition. I strive to maintain a structured environment with designated times for learning, exercise, play, and rest so that pets feel secure, engaged, and comfortable. For health reasons, I am sensitive to pet waste, so I can only accept pets that are potty trained or when waste-removal tools are provided. My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, well cared for, and happy while you’re away. While I do not have any special experience, I do have experience caring for cats and dogs and genuinely enjoy their company. One of the things I appreciate most about animals is that every one of them has a unique personality. Whether your pet is affectionate, independent, playful, talkative, or prefers to keep their distance, I am happy to respect their boundaries and care for them according to their comfort level. I get along well with most animals, including the occasional grumpy cat with a bit of attitude. As long as your pet is not operating under an “attack on sight” policy, we will probably get along just fine. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while maintaining their routine and giving them the attention they want—whether that means playtime, companionship, or simply a quiet presence nearby. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate significant time and attention to the animals in my care. This flexibility enables me to maintain feeding schedules, provide regular walks and exercise, reinforce routines and positive behaviors, and ensure pets receive plenty of companionship throughout the day. Because I have greater availability right now than I may have in the future, I encourage interested pet parents to reach out while openings are available. I believe pets thrive when they have consistency, structure, and engagement. Whether your pet enjoys active play, quiet companionship, outdoor adventures, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I am committed to providing attentive care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away. My availability may change over time, but while I have room in my schedule, I look forward to building lasting relationships with both pets and their owners. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take dogs on walks, give pets plenty of attention and companionship, and do my best to maintain their normal routines. I also make time for play and mental stimulation, as I believe happy pets are engaged pets. While I can certainly entertain pets on my own, toys and favorite activities are always appreciated and help create the best experience for them. If requested and permitted by the owner, I am also happy to assist with basic grooming tasks such as brushing and keeping coats looking neat between professional grooming appointments. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, so I adjust my approach to meet their individual needs. Whether your pet wants to play all day, go on adventures, or simply relax with a companion nearby, I strive to provide patient, attentive care that helps them feel right at home.
About: I've been taking care of dogs almost all my life. I've had so many different breeds in my lifetime. I love all kinds of animals but definitely have to say dogs are my favorite! I work on my time. I book cleanings and caregiving help to older adults. So if I have a job for sitting lined up I just don't accept any cleaning jobs. I do sitting, walking, and boarding. I can accommodate up to two large dogs and I have a safe area for walks and playtime. I also can come to pets home if needed to do potty breaks ect.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 13 years and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I’m detail oriented, dependable, and comfortable administering medications, following special routines, and providing plenty of love and attention. My 5-star reviews and repeat clients reflect the care, trust, and communication I bring to every visit. I’m a licensed cosmetologist, small business owner, and new mom. Caring for others is at the heart of what I do, and I treat every pet the way I treat my own. I’m detail-oriented and dependable. Whether your pet needs medication, a strict routine, or just extra patience and snuggles, I’m happy to provide. I make communication a priority, so you’ll get regular photo updates and honest check ins while you’re away. My goal is simple: keep your pet safe, loved, and relaxed until you’re back. Caring for others has always been part of who I am. I treat every pet like family and believe consistency, patience, and communication make all the difference. Whether your pet needs medication, extra playtime, or a little extra comfort while you’re away, I’m committed to giving them the same love and attention I’d want for my own pets.

About: My name is Sydney M. I am a sweet and loving 25 year old girl. Born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. I have 2 dogs of my own, I have had dogs my whole life! I love them! Love going on walks and playing with animals. I adore cats and dogs, mainly little dogs because big dogs frighten me a little bit... if they are well trained and don’t tug on the leash while walking, they are okay! Contact my cell phone at any time. Thank you and I look forward to meeting!!!

“Rachel and her family are so great. Our dog is usually a little nervous, and doesn’t always eat well when he stays with a new family, but he did great with Rachel and settled in without any problems. We are so grateful to have such a caring place for our dog to stay while we are out of town. Rachel was very pleasant to work with, sent lots of pictures, and took great care of our dog. We can’t wait to use her services again! :)”

“Heather was absolutely wonderful with Leo while we were away on our trip to Punta Cana! She took such great care of him and gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was in loving and capable hands. She was great at keeping us posted, and clearly treated Leo like he was her own. We came home to a happy and well-cared-for pup.
