About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs through family and personal experience! I’ve pet sat for my brother’s four large dogs in his home, making sure they were fed, exercised, given plenty of attention, and kept on their normal routine while he was away. My sister recently adopted a puppy and I puppy sit him overnight every other weekend as well, I help potty train and with socializing him. I once had a senior dog of my own who was truly part of my family. Caring for a senior pet taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying close attention to a dog’s comfort, health, and individual needs. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to keep them on their usual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by their owner. When I’ve cared for my siblings’ dogs, they’ve slept in bed with me (if that’s what they’re used to), and I bring them with me whenever it’s appropriate so they’re rarely left alone. I love animals of all types and have experience with special needs dogs, administering medication, and walking reactive dogs. My parents have 4 dogs as well that I routinely care for. I'm very comfortable with reactive dogs and can use my training to help better understand their behaviors. I have experience with senior dogs and post surgery care.
