This was definitely the case with Amanda and her family. Our boys, Mack (a doberman) and Luke (a Miniature Schnauzer), did very well there and got along well with their family dog and cats. Mack had some intestinal problems while we were out of town and Amanda went the extra mile to make sure he was well cared for and recovered without issue. She also provided regular updates on our boys even though we had no expectation of this, which was great. When I came to pick the dogs up, I saw them lounging in the front room before they knew I was there. They looked right at home. About: We've enjoyed 4 dogs and 3 cats during our marriage. Our current dog is a 2-year-old mutt who LOVES to play with other pups, and our cat. She came from an abusive home, and it took several months to help her feel safe. If you have a shy/scared dog, we are understanding and patient. I work from home, so I am available at all times. I prefer to take walks in the mornings when it's warmer, and in the afternoon or evening when it's cooler. I like to let the pups play together as much as possible, but I do like to give one-on-one time with each pup a few times each day. Gates are set up to keep pups in a safe area where I can see them at all times. We mostly allow them to play together or with toys we provide. I take each pup outside at regular intervals, as provided by their parent, to relieve themselves.

About: I am a college student at University of Kentucky and I already have two cats of my own. I have grown up with cats, and my neighbors have always relied on me to watch their cats when they're out of town. I also am extremely clean so I am on top of cleaning the litter box at all times. I have a privacy fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air, playtime, and exercise. I provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, routines, and personality, and I always take the time to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’ll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and care I give my own pup!
About: I have had dogs my entire life and for years have been dog sitting for friends and family. I do have one small dog in my home who is friendly with other dogs and would enjoy the company of your pup! I work a full time teaching job Monday- Friday but will be home all evening and weekends with your pup! I usually walk my dogs in the morning before work and then again in the evening if weather permits. My dogs have been my children and they are allowed on all furniture and beds. They have a chill place to relax in my home as well as a large backyard! I live right next to a park so they get a regular walk each day. I do not have a fenced in back yard so your dog must be comfortable going out to potty on a leash :)
About: Hi! I’m Carley, and I have had dogs my entire life—from Scotties and Westies to Golden Retrievers and, of course, the best kind of dogs…mutts! I work full-time from home, which means your dog will have plenty of company and won’t be left alone for long periods. My home has a large, fully fenced privacy yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and burn off energy throughout the day. I have experience with both dog sitting and house sitting, but I prefer boarding dogs in my home because I can provide more supervision and keep a close eye on everyone. I also have one friendly dog who enjoy having canine visitors. As I often watch my sister’s dogs and have had 6 dogs at once that I looked after. I’ll admit it—I can be a little overprotective when it comes to my own dog, and I’ll treat yours with that same level of care. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy, and being treated like part of the family.
About: As well as owning dogs and cats all 24 years of my life, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have been working with rover for a few years now to gather experience loving other family pets as my own. I promise to be a new best friend while you are away from your fur babies! i work third shift four days a week so i have a very open schedule for walks and drop ins. my best times are 9am-noon and 4pm-7pm but i am open to requests at any time:) while walking dogs i ALWAYS keep them on leash. i’m comfortable helping with whatever you need whether that’s just hanging out or maybe brushing your pet:) just ask!
About: Nice to meet you! I am currently in my gap year before medical school. My genuine and caring personality comes from my many years working at a senior living facility, at the James Cancer Hospital, as an at-home caregiver, and now at a primary care office. While healthcare is my main field, I grew up with animals and they have a soft spot in my heart! People would describe me as responsible, diligent, and more than willing to lend a helping hand! Please feel free to reach out! Monday through Thursday I work 7:45am to 5pm, so I am available before or after then! On Fridays, I work 7:45-1pm. On the weekends, I am available any time! I live in a single family home with a large back yard and I am in walking distance to many parks. I currently live with two other girls and we do not own any pets. Both roommates are animal lovers as well, so we create a very caring environment!
