About: Although I’m new to Rover, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs through family and personal experience! I’ve pet sat for my brother’s four large dogs in his home, making sure they were fed, exercised, given plenty of attention, and kept on their normal routine while he was away. My sister recently adopted a puppy and I puppy sit him overnight every other weekend as well, I help potty train and with socializing him. I once had a senior dog of my own who was truly part of my family. Caring for a senior pet taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying close attention to a dog’s comfort, health, and individual needs. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, and I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and stress-free while their owners are away. Since I create my own hours, I’m able to adjust my availability to meet the needs of each pet and their owner. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening care, overnight stays, or last-minute requests, I can easily structure my schedule to provide dependable, attentive care. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I strive to be as accommodating as possible to help them stay comfortable and maintain their normal schedule while you’re away. I live in a spacious four-bedroom condo-style apartment with access to a fenced-in dog park, giving dogs a secure place to play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to keep them on their usual routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by their owner. When I’ve cared for my siblings’ dogs, they’ve slept in bed with me (if that’s what they’re used to), and I bring them with me whenever it’s appropriate so they’re rarely left alone. I enjoy having them by my side and giving them plenty of love, attention, and companionship. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I’ll follow all care instructions closely, provide lots of affection and playtime, and send regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. The home has a large, fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, or just lounge outside. Inside, the home is completely dog-friendly—couches, furniture, snuggles and all! I want your dog to feel like they’re staying with family rather than being boarded. I work from home 90% of the time and the whole family is home on the weekends, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. They won’t spend their stay sitting alone for hours. Having an Irish Wolfhound has also given me plenty of experience with large and giant breeds, but I genuinely love dogs of all sizes and personalities. The home has a large, fully fenced-in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to safely run, play, and explore. I also have a sweet 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Bernie who is very much part of our family. About: We had a dog for 17 years that passed away earlier this year at the age of 19 (able to care for a senior dog). He was adopted from Southern Indiana Animal Rescue.
