About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life & now have one of my own. I have also taken care of both dogs & cats for friends & family so have experience there as well. I’m a part time nanny looking for some ways to make some extra money when I don’t have the baby I take care of. I am pretty open throughout the week and would love to help out! I enjoy going on walks and runs with dogs, playing with them at parks and inside, and am willing to do whatever they are used to doing while their owners are away. There are many nearby parks in my area that I’d be willing to take the dogs to as well.
About: I’ve been dog and cat sitting since I was about 8 and I have always helped my parents take care of my dogs at home. I recently graduated from the University of Tennessee as an animal science major on the pre-veterinary track, so I have a love and passion for taking care of animals. I have been accepted into veterinary school and plan to go next year. For the past two summers, I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant and and I have worked as a Kennel Assistant for 2 years during the school year. I have learned even more about caring for pets during that time; including dealing with puppies, administering medication, and working with anxious or unpredictable pets. As a recent graduate, I have a lot of time on my hands as a figure out my next step before veterinary school. I’m so excited to continue working with animals! I love going to the local parks nearby and walking dogs, as well as spending time with them inside, giving them belly rubs, love, and attention!
About: Hi, I say 15 years of pet care experience but I have always had an animal or reptile in the house. Through the years/growing up my family has had a lab, dachshunds, and a lab/pit mix, all ranging from puppy to adult. I also have experience dog sitting for multiple coworkers while they are out of town, so my schedule is flexible as far as weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I absolutely love dogs and am willing to do what it takes to care for them. If they were to come to stay with me there would be a DIY fenced in area to play. Recently got a pup of my own so all must be open to her. She is a full blooded basset who loves to play sleep and cuddle. She loves people and others animals! Just wants someone to play and chase! I’m working full time which is 4 10 hr shifts. Typically no weekends. As long as they can manage to be cooped up that long im very flexible. I can do in home stays which is currently what I’ve been doing. If not they are welcome in my home. Can work with holidays and other needs Walking playing and special needs that may need to be provided. Cleaning up when necessary. Making sure they too feel comfortable with myself and dog of my own.
