“Chelsea watched my 14 year old dog for a weekend while I was away. I think he enjoyed it so much I have never seen him act better! Highly recommend if you have an older dog or one that needs a bit more attention!”

“Nora and Levi were wonderful with my dog, Juno. They took great care of her over the holidays. Their dog Scarlett was a big sweetheart and got along with Juno very well. Their big, fenced in yard is just great for dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Kelly was incredible!! I'm truly wondering if our dog will be sad to come home because he loved staying with Kelly so much, haha. She sent so many wonderful picture and video updates. She took such good care of our dog and even gave him baths and daily walks and worked on commands with him. He learned so much just from staying there. I will definitely be using Kelly again and I will recommend her to my friends as well!”

“Trista watched our two girls over the weekend and they both took to her easily. We received pictures and updates daily. We will be using Trista’s services again in the future.”

“Zoë is very sweet & knowledgeable when it comes to doggies! She took such great care of my little golden and kept me informed throughout the day each day on how she was doing with messages and photos. I would highly recommend Zoë for any/all of your doggie needs! :)”

“Mary Jane took great care of my foster dog Eclipse while I was out of town! I'm so glad she had new doggie friends to play with was able to meet cats. They have a great yard for the dogs to play in, and Eclipse had her very own cozy room to relax during the day and at night. Thank you Mary Jane!”
“This is the second time we have used Mariah as our sitter and we have no doubt we will use her again and again. Her attention to and care for our girl goes above and beyond, we could not recommend her more.”

“This was my second time boarding Kaylee with Celsei and everything was perfect! I got lots of photo and video updates and Kaylee looked super happy in all of them 🥰🥰. Celsei is my go to sitter now when I need to board Kaylee!”

“This family is amazing! We left for a week shortly after rescuing our new dog. I was worried how he would transition being placed somewhere for a week after just settling in a new home. All my worries faded away after the meet and greet. My pup acted right at home with their entire family. He even learned to play and socialized with their sweet dog. I received constant communication and so many sweet pics and videos of him playing, napping, cuddling, being loved on, etc. Nikole and her family will always be my go to for puppy care when away. I’m a customer for life! Thanks for everything!”

“Tawny was super awesome. I felt 100% about leaving Nisa with her. I always got a sweet picture and update at the end of the day and knew Nisa was happy at Tawny’s doggie paradise.”

“Kelsie was so sweet to my dogs and they made themselves right at home. She sent me lots of pictures which was great. I really appreciated her taking them at the last minute on Memorial weekend! I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Madison was wonderful and flexible. First, we were able to modify our dates before the trip. Second. We ran into traffic on our way home and Madison was able to watch our dog for extra tune until we got home. We got picture updates and our dog was happy.”

About: Hello! My name is Savannah and I am a postdoctoral researcher in the biology department at IU. I have experience caring for all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, reptiles, fish and more). I have experience with small and large dogs, hyperactive/nervous dogs, as well as senior dogs so you can be assured that I know how to handle just about any dog personality. I am very responsible, considerate and dedicated to making sure your pets are happy and healthy. I consider it an honor to be welcomed into your pet’s life and take my job very seriously. Please feel welcome to ask me any and all questions you might have. Thank you so much for considering me! I cannot wait to hear from you and your pet! I have fairly flexible working hours as I largely can make my own schedule. I am available during the week and weekends as well as holidays. I have a fenced in yard if you would like your pet to stay with me, but I am also happy to take them for walks in addition to letting them play in the backyard. I have three dogs of my own that are all very friendly and I have ways to separate dogs from each other if need be so they don’t all have to interact at the same time.
About: As a pet owner myself I know that our pets are our babies. (Lord knows I treat mine like my baby). I work from home so someone is always with your fur baby. We live about 5 minutes from Switchyard Park and like to walk the trail. Our apartment complex has a small dog park and a trail that is about half a mile long that we go on all the time. My dog is part husky so I know the importance of keeping dogs busy. We have multiple puzzles and toys ready to go. I’m very type A when it comes to my dog so you can expect the same with your pet. I’ll over communicate with you, send you photos daily, and let you know how your pup is adjusting. Safety and communication are always number one. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and baby sat for other dogs. My dog has some medical issues (a bad knee) so I’m no stranger to medication and keeping an eye out on existing injuries. If you want to meet up or see the environment your dog will be staying before hand, feel free to reach out to me! Since I work from home we take a lot of short walks through the day and I set up puzzles for them to play inside in case it’s too hot. I want to keep your dogs schedule as much as possible. A new environment for them can be stressful and if I can help ease some of that with following their schedule, I’m happy to do it! Your dog will have free range of our apartment. They’re allowed on all furniture and we have multiple dog beds in case they want their space. We have 2 crates in the house in case the dogs need to be crated and we will never have more than 2 dogs in the apartment (yours and mine only). We have a small dog park across the street of our apartment that will only be used if no other dogs are already there. Of course I will ask your preference if you’re comfortable with them going there or only walks.

“She was amazing there dog aurora is so cute and friendly. My dog had the best time and came home absolutely exhausted will definitely have them as my first choice for all bookings”

“We are so grateful for the care Matthew and Ellie gave to our dog Marla. This was our first time using Rover and we were very nervous. Matthew and Ellie let us come to their home to see everything and how more the would feel at their place. They are very open and respectful. Marla had a wonderful time they provided daily pictures. They were very responsive to any messages. They were in constant communication with us and were also very flexible when we needed to extend marvelous care. We are very pleased with how everything went and will definitely be using them again in the future. I especially appreciated how they seemed to not just see this as a job, but actually enjoyed having Marla as part of their family.”

“My dog took to Alex immediately, I was amazed when my dog didn't even bark at Alex when he first met him as he usually takes some time to warm up to strangers but my dog had an instant bond with Alex who is an obvious dog lover ! Alex was just superb ,Alex sent me twice daily updates with pictures and comments as to how Paco was doing...my dog made friends quickly with Alex's two dogs and appears to have had very little separation anxiety..I could not have asked for a better experience and I highly recommend Alex to take care of your fur baby...Thanks Alex”

“Lucy definitely made my dog feel comfortable. I appreciated the communication since I received a few pictures a day of my dog. Lucy did a great job and made sure to give my dog her medicine. Thank you!”

“Rayann really went above and beyond this time. My flight back was cancelled. Rayann was wonderful about keeping my baby safe and happy. She seems to have a way with animals, at least my dog is always happy when he comes back from her place! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

About: Hello! My name is Mirte (pronounced meer‑tah), and I’ve been caring for pets professionally for several years now. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and a goofy beagle named Mylo, and I adore them both like family. That same level of love, patience, and attention is what I bring to every cat I care for. Before pursuing social work I originally planned to become a veterinary technician, so my love for animals runs deep. Cats have always held a special place in my heart. Whether your kitty is shy, social, playful, or independent, I connect in a way that feels right for them. 🐈🧶 My schedule is very flexible right now since I’ve just wrapped up my internship, and I offer everything from drop‑ins to overnight stays. I always prefer meeting in person beforehand so you and your cat feel completely at ease. I’d love to connect and support you however I can; your pet’s well‑being truly matters to me.

“Ashli was great as always! We seem to always have last minute changes or special instructions, and she has been very flexible and keeps our dog happy while we're away.”

About: I have cared for animals of all different kinds. Don’t be afraid to inquire about exotics or animals with special needs! I am a big fan of enrichment and doing the best I can for my pets. I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry, feathered, or scaly friend! My schedule is currently open to any and all pet care requests. Just let me know what you need! I am open to reoccurring visits as well. I find it important to treat each pet with an individualized approach to ensure a stress-free environment. I would love to hear all about your pet and their likes/dislikes to ensure their comfort!

About: I've only had a cat for a year now, but I take care of him when my roommate needs assistance. I have fed, watered, cleaned his litter box, and played with him while she is gone. I also have learned the body language of cats. Most cats have liked me when I was growing up and I would say I am a pretty patient person, so I don't get upset if they don't initially like me either.
“Always grateful to have Abby take care of my cat. Very attentive and communicates very well. It is clear my cat is well taken care of when I return from a trip. Also snaps the best/silliest photos of my cat while I'm away :)”

About: I’m a proud cat owner and I’d love to extend my care to your fur babies! I know firsthand how much they mean to you. I have an older cat with special health needs, so I understand how to take extra care with more challenging cat clients.

About: While in college my roommate had a cat. He neglected his cat, he wouldn't change his litter box, and would spray him with a water bottle whenever he did something "naughty". I ended up cleaning the litter box. And his cat ended liking me more than him. Cats hold a special place in my heart, their goofy, curious, and sometimes sassy attitudes are endlessly entertaining. I would love the opportunity to be of service to you and your lovely kitty!
About: I have always loved dogs/cats and giving them the attention they need. I have a flexible schedule at the moment which allows me to help you and your pets! Advice: if you have a dog that is not fully house-trained, it’s best to book house-sitting instead of drop-in visits to insure growth on the progress you have already made. I like to be very attentive to each pup and reward them for their good behavior learning! (Also, when I house/dog sit I do a daily surface clean/sweep/mop/etc) as a courtesy/no extra charge! I work part-time as a dental hygienist and on my own chosen schedule. I will make taking care of your dog/cat my main priority for the day(s) needed. (Also, when I house/dog sit I do a daily surface clean/sweep/mop/etc) as a courtesy/no extra charge! ) I have a very friendly, well behaved Italian Greyhound that loves visitors and making new friends. He doesn't bark much and we do not feed him human food. We have plenty of toys and treats! If your pup likes human food, then we can make an exception for them if you would like;)

“Kelly really saved me in a pinch and did exactly what I had in mind my for 2 dogs experiencing doggy daycare for the first time! I gave her a brief overview of their personalities and my expectations for the day and she provided an easy, stress-free day for me! She was also flexible with my drop off and pick up times possibly changing and was incredibly kind/understanding about me not being able to give her an idea of drop off/pick up. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Took excellent care of our little yorkiepoo. Would highly recommend easy 5 star. Pictures and a video thru out the day. Very responsive. Will use again when the need arises.”

About: Hi! I’m Jenna, a lifelong Bloomingtonian and best friend to every dog I’ve ever met! I am a stay-at-home mom to a preschooler and I also help run a national non-profit rescue for French Bulldogs. I have deeply loved several bulldogs in my lifetime, and as such am very adept to handling brachycephalic breeds and their particular needs. (Though it should be noted I tend to my regular-nosed breeds with the same loving care!) As a former medical assistant, I am very comfortable caring for animals with moderate medical needs, those with disabilities, those requiring medication administration, etc. I currently foster a hospice dog with dietary restrictions, Mega-esophagus, Colitis, and total blindness. You could say that special needs are my specialty. I have over 20 years of experience helping folks take care of their fur babies, from Pugs to Cane Corsos and lots in between. Dogs have always been my best friends and luckily, lots of humans pick up on that when they meet me. Most of my experience has been private house sitting and in-home pet care for coworkers for periods of a few hours up to a week. I am brand new to Rover, and am currently testing the waters by offering drop-in visits. I hope to expand services soon! I currently work for a dog rescue remotely and am otherwise a stay-at-home-mom to a preschooler. I also provide daily care for one resident special needs rescue French Bulldog. I care for pets in the way that is safest for them, regardless of where that is. In my home, dogs are under my constant care. They will be taken outside on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard.
About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.
About: I own a King Charles Cavalier and a German Shepherd currently! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana with multiple foster and adopted animals! My mother instilled a serious love and adoration for people and their favorite pets. I volunteered at our local animal shelter, was trained in multiple animal science courses, and was taught to love and respect the animals I work with, both domesticated and exotic. I have handled dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, farm livestock, petting zoo animals, and more. I love them and have tons of professional experience to give your fur-baby the best experience possible. Please feel free to message or call whenever needed and I am more then happy to accommodate ANYTHING you or your sweet pet needs. I have lots of time on my hands, currently we start our mornings with a good meal and a long walk along our neighborhood. We will head to the house for a quick nap or so that our older dogs and puppies can rest. We then head to either the local state park or a dog park for some new stimulation. When we return home, we have some free time with toys and puzzles, enjoy another good meal, take another long, walk around the neighborhood, and then cuddle on the couch or in the beds until bedtime. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. All of our animals are continuously monitored, I work part-time, and we also have cameras in the house. Feel free to request photos or videos of your baby at any point in time.

“Sierra has done a great job with my dog. I hired her to walk Coco several times a week when I have to be in the office. Coco warmed up to her very quickly and it is great to know she will get to stretch her legs during the day.”

About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Striving to create a calm, reassuring environment where your pet feels understood is central to my approach as a caregiver. Please reach out if you have any questions! Your pet's comfort is my priority ❤️ My schedule is currently very open as I wrap up my internship, and I’m available for daily check‑ins, walks, and overnight stays! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to connect. ❤️🐕🦺🎾 I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).

I remain very attentive to what the pet needs, and I make sure to accommodate for whatever recommendations my clients would like to see being done. I am also willing to work around whatever is needed for them to remain happy and healthy.

My family has always had cats and dogs from all age ranges, so I have experience from puppies and kittens to seniors. Whatever your pets need, I’m confident I’ll be able to provide it so you can rest easy while away. Pet sitting is my livelihood, which means I am open to schedule according to your family and pet needs! Please don’t hesitate to reach out, as I am open and ready to meet you and your fluffy family! I can feed, walk, play with them, etc. Please show me your pets favorite scratching spot or their favorite games to play so it can be as if their routine hasn't changed a bit! I can do whatever you need for me to do, including water plants, bring in mail, etc. My goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible while providing you peace of mind.

About: I love getting to know animals and learning about their sweet idiosyncrasies to create a harmonious environment where we can all be our best selves together. I have a Weimaraner-mix dog and 2 cats who I love dearly and spend all my free time with. I’m a responsible dog-owner and have experience with obedience training. I grew up with animals, so caring for pets is second-nature to me. I’m in between semesters right now and work from home so I have full-time availability to show your dog the attention and affection they deserve. I take my own pup to the dog park every morning for about an hour, and throughout the day we go for long walks around Bryan Park and spend time in my fenced-in yard. In addition to having a fenced in yard for your dog to play in, and I live in a safe, residential area where we can go for long walks. My dog, Nisa, LOVES other dogs and will undoubtedly show your dog friendly playfulness and generosity. I live in a one-bedroom apartment and the dogs are allowed to chill on the furniture. When I leave the house for short errands I don’t crate Nisa, however I have a large dog crate for your pup if that is your preference. I’m happy to maintain your dog’s feeding schedule and can administer any medications they might need.

“Lucy definitely made my dog feel comfortable. I appreciated the communication since I received a few pictures a day of my dog. Lucy did a great job and made sure to give my dog her medicine. Thank you!”

“Lindsie provided excellent care and attention for my little boy Otto. She was very good about sending me photos and reassuring me he was doing just fine with her. Otto is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer and used to just the two of us being together but he did very well with Lindsie. I highly recommend considering Lindsie as a sitter.”

About: Hi! I’m Alana 😊 I provide reliable, attentive care so your pet can stay comfortable while you’re away. I started volunteering at a humane society in middle school and later gained hands-on experience shadowing veterinary technicians at IndyVet. This helped me learn how to read animal body language, handle different temperaments, and provide safe, attentive care. Growing up, my family had golden retrievers, pit bulls, cats, bunnies, and hamsters, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of pets and personalities. I now have three miniature dachshunds of my own, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’ll treat your furry friend with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own! I work full time throughout the week. I am typically available during the evenings on Monday - Thursday, and then all day on Friday - Saturday! Because I have three dogs of my own, I prefer to have your dogs come to my home for overnight sitting. I understand how important our furry friends are and how difficult it can be to be away from them. That’s why I like to learn as much as possible about each pet ahead of time. Knowing their routines, preferences, and personality helps me create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while you’re away.
“Mason was just great! I knew Dude would be safe with him. I will definitely be using him again. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for this service. I’m just so grateful.”

“They were very flexible with the drop off/pick up times. They took my dog in as if she was their own and treated her very nicely and made sure she had just what she needed at all times. I could tell my dog had a wonderful time being there. Thank you for looking after her for us!”

“The BEST. ♥️ I cannot say enough good things about Katherine and the experience my dog had staying with her. She was exceptionally warm, thoughtful, attentive, compassionate, loving. Beyond being nurturing, Katherine was clearly experienced in caring for dogs. My dog is 14 and Katherine went above and beyond in making sure the environment was comfortable for her. She sent photos throughout my pup's stay, and my pup was relaxed and happy in every photo. I think my dog wanted to live with Katherine after her stay. She was SO HAPPY when I brought her home. She was looking at me like "thank you so much for this vacation, mom" -- seriously. Katherine went far beyond making sure my dog was fed and safe. She was spending quality time with her, playing, and treating her with kindness and lots of affection. Leaving a dog with someone new can be a bit stressful, Katherine immediately made me felt at ease and I knew my dog would be in wonderful hands while I was away. You could not ask for a better sitter. 🐺 🫶”
