About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and understand that some animals need special care. I live in a quiet neighborhood with great walking paths! I work a Monday through Friday normal schedule, going into work around 6am and coming home around 3pm each day. I love going on morning, afternoon, and evening walks with my dog, Toby, and he loves to run around our backyard too. Weekends are meant for fun! Sometimes we go to the dog park or a walk through downtown. I care for them by giving them attention, sticking to a nice schedule, and understanding that every animal is different in their own, unique way. Some require more care, others are very chill like my own dog!

“We had another sitter booked; our pet and everything were packed in the car, ready to meet the sitter & leave for our trip; then the sitter ended up being a no-show. Thankfully, Nikole replied to my SOS on Rover! We were able to take our precious Princess Pickles to Nikole's right away. She & her spouse were incredible! They listened to our concerns, and were very understanding and supportive. They took excellent care of our baby girl. Nikole knew we were anxious and apprehensive, and sent daily pics and videos. Nikole and her family gave Pickles time and space to get used to her new surroundings, and helped the process by brushing her and giving her treats (her favorite things!). In the past, after being boarded with other sitters, Pickles got sick, was extremely clingy, had nightmares, etc. None of these things happened after her time with Nikole! It was an easy, seamless transition. We are SO grateful and thankful for Nikole and her family! She's the only sitter for us from now on. We can't recommend her enough. (Just don't bombard her with bookings so she's not available when we need her. 😉)”

About: I have been a dog owner all my life. Our last dog passed away last year at age 17. My husband and I really miss him but dont want to commit to years of having another. Taking care of your pet would really help us I think. We are self employed so we work from home on our own schedule. It would no trouble looking after and caring for your dog anytime. Live of 1 mile off hwy 37 in a rural area. We have a two acre plot that will provide plenty of room for them to run and play.

“I’ve written a review for Sierra before but I just have to tell you about how great she really is! My dog Finn is a little dog with a fearful, snappy attitude. He’s suspicious of anything and anyone new. Several months ago I got a trainer and Sierra was willing to work with me and the trainer to get Finn to the point Sierra could walk him and stay with him. When this started she couldn’t even take the leash on and off. He snapped, tested and growled at her. With consistent visits and coaching with the trainer Finn now gets excited when she comes to visit. He jumps up and lets her pet him and she can take his leash on and off and has let her fix his harness. Sierra has been so patient and helpful through this long process. Her visits really break up his lonely days at home. It has been a blessing and a huge relief to know Finn is so happy spending time with her.”
About: I managed a pet store for years, I also ran a humane society's equine center and I have horses of my own. I have experience with reactive dogs and love big dogs! I work Monday thru Wednesday and every other Thursday. I work 12 hour shifts on those days so I'm not available. I'm available anytime after that! I work a Monday through Friday normal schedule, going into work around 6am and coming home around 3pm each day. I love going on morning, afternoon, and evening walks with my dog, Toby, and he loves to run around our backyard too. Weekends are meant for fun! Sometimes we go to the dog park or a walk through downtown. I care for them by giving them attention, sticking to a nice schedule, and understanding that every animal is different in their own, unique way. About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs. When I get clients I make sure to ask them about their dogs routine, so I can do my best to mimic that.
