“This was our first time boarding our dogs and we were super nervous. Max is a German Rott and not the friendliest at first sight. It takes him a moment to get comfortable with new faces. However, he is truly a loving, loyal and protective doggie. Marley, an English Cocker Spaniel is easy to adore and just wants hugs and rubs all day. Desirae was nothing but hospitable, patient, accommodating, and professional. She continued to provide photos and updates while we were away and made sure we were comfortable. She was very aware of what they needed and following our instructions to ensure they maintained their routine. This was such a wonderful first experience and I would definitely recommend Desirea. We provide three walks a day and also provide doggie daycare services to help socialize pups, if requested by owners. About: Ever since I’ve was little I’ve always was involved with animals in some kind of way and once I turned 14 I start training dogs and just being more involved with every animal. My plan is to be a veterinarian one day but until then I plan on taking care of and interacting with so many animals until then ( i do not currently own any pets) Well I work for my self so I’m home majority of the day anyways so taking a walk, or going to a sitting will never be a problem since my schedule is 100% free I have beds, toys and different types of food set up for any boarding that I might have and I also have a huge fenced in back yard for play time and even on rainy days I have a pet play area set up in my garage(it’s attached to my home and heated) to play in on rainy days I have a fenced in yard so that they can play outside as much as they want, I’m even setting/building my back yard more just to accommodate dogs with certain special needs that can’t do certain things. I still have a lot of free time I’d like to fill throughout the week doing something I love, like taking care of animals. I am very attentive when it comes to caring for other peoples babies. Safety for myself and the pet is my number one priority. I do have a fenced in big back yard, and I also live right next to campus!
About: I’ve had pets pretty much all my life. They each become a part of me and stay in my heart forever. I’ve had cats, dogs, fish, birds, and I have cared for them along with bunnies and snakes when I worked at the shelter. I love my pets dearly and will treat your pets with as much love. I currently have more open availability in the mornings so I would be able to check in on your pets for you while you run your errands or you’re at work. Give them the love and attention that you want to give them, but unfortunately aren’t able to. I wake up in the mornings and give my babies food and fresh water. Give them attention once they wake up a little bit. I check their bowls periodically when I’m home and change the water at night and give them a little more food before bed. Along with nighttime cuddles because house are important. I wake up in the morning and take care of my cats first thing. Get them food. I wash their water bowl out and get them fresh water. I give them attention after they wake up a little bit more. I pay attention to their body signs and try to give them what they need. I love and care for my pets and I will do the same for yours.

I have two large breed dogs, (Great Pyrenees and a Golden Retriever) that are very friendly! Both of my dogs are up to date on their vaccinations, including flea and tick. Dogs are allowed on furniture and the bed. I spend a lot of time with my dogs playing outside and inside. I can accommodate crate training if needed.

I try to ask to be shown during a meet and greet your usual routine to try to follow what a day to day would be like if you were at home with them for maximum comfort! I enjoy walks and do not mind going for daily exercise (weather appropriate) or hang in your back yard and play fetch!

“This was our first time boarding our dogs and we were super nervous. Max is a German Rott and not the friendliest at first sight. It takes him a moment to get comfortable with new faces. However, he is truly a loving, loyal and protective doggie. Marley, an English Cocker Spaniel is easy to adore and just wants hugs and rubs all day. Desirae was nothing but hospitable, patient, accommodating, and professional. She continued to provide photos and updates while we were away and made sure we were comfortable. She was very aware of what they needed and following our instructions to ensure they maintained their routine. This was such a wonderful first experience and I would definitely recommend Desirea. About: I’ve taken care of animals my entire life! Born and raised on a farm. I’ve always had dogs and cats to love and many other small animals! I plan to own my own kennel in the future. We have 4 animal loving kids as well! I work part time at a salon so my schedule is pretty flexible as long as there is advanced planning and I’ll do my best to keep your pets current schedule. I love all animals but have also felt more connected to dogs as I grew up owning them! My dogs are well cared for and loved! As a pet owner, I plan the needs of my dogs around my tasks for the day! About: I love to make others feel more comfortable about leaving their beloved dog in capable hands while they are away! I work from home so the dogs are not left alone. I love dogs but am not ready to have two in my home full time. Pet sitting helps to keep my dog socialized. I am able to follow a strict routine, give medications and have very flexible drop off and pick up times. My dog is very friendly and I have a fenced in yard for plenty of playtime. I work from home so am here to care for them all day.
