She made sure to do a meet and greet so that my pups could meet her pups to ensure that it would be a good fit for all involved. While I was gone, she sent me picture updates every day (sometimes videos!). I love getting pics while I'm away; it really sets my mind at ease and I appreciate her taking the time to keep in touch with me. When my flight was delayed on the way home, she was flexible and kept my dogs an extra 6 hours or so past when I was originally planning on being home and she was great through all of it. About: I have had my own dogs, plus taken care of my friends dogs in my home for 20+ years. I also have 4 dog adoring teenagers who also will love on your fur baby. We have a 2 year old Morkie with a big personality. I am a stay at home homeschool mom. Other than taking teens to/from work or at the gym, I am routinely home for dog care. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: I have been around dogs since the day I was born, and my family has always had at least two dogs in our family at all times!
