“My dog has horrible separation anxiety so I dread trips away from home. Using the warm and cozy home of Janis and Devin was the perfect solution. I received multiple pictures every day. I could tell my dog was happy and feeling a part of the family. When I picked him up he was not crazed and inconsolable. He also has not been extra anxious at home as he usually gets. I really appreciated the check list forms and medical release I completed for her - it only took two seconds to complete and it just shows the care and responsibility she has with caring for my pup! I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind when going on vacation, work calls, etc. which is why I keep all owners updated and informed on how their fur babies are doing. I currently work a 9-5, M-F. However my boyfriend gets off work at 3. Which is why I have my availability set to the weekends. I am not opposed to weekdays I just want to be up front about my schedule. I live on a half acre but we are out in the country surrounded by open fields. Therefore we have plenty of room to run, walk, and play, I also have two dogs myself to keep yours company and play! I do crate my own dogs when I leave the house because we have an open pantry and we’ve had trips to the vet because of things being eaten that should not have been… Therefore I prefer to crate dogs when I leave the house.

Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. About: I have always enjoyed spending my time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in elementary school - sadly he recently passed away - but since coming to college I have been missing my sweet fur baby. Being able to play with and care for someone else's pet while also earning extra cash would be an ideal job experience for me. Getting a new pet really isn’t an option for me right now. With all the free time on my hands, and I would love to get the chance to spend it walking and playing with your fur babies! In the past, I have dog sat for other friends and family and I really enjoyed it and having the extra company is always a plus!

I have my own pets to take care of, but other than that I don’t have consistent routines that would get in the way of the times and dates I’m available. For drop-ins, I will do feedings, outdoor/potty time, and get to know your pet(s). If there’s any questions or other service not noted that you’d like to ask I can do, I would be happy to answer. Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. More characterized questions, such as walking area or what certain necessities your pet(s) needs can be discussed once I have contact/a schedule with you.
About: I have had years of experience with kids from babysitting and being a camp counselor along with pet setting. Parents would rely on me to take care of the kids as well! I currently work as a registered behavior technician from 9-1 and I’m also a junior at iusb studying health science! My classes are online for the summer session. The dogs will always have my full attention so I can always make sure they aren't getting into anything along as always having a play mate! I will make sure they eat great meals and have a great time.

I currently have dogs, cats, ferrets, and a horse. Many friends and family have relied on me for advice or to care for their pets. About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.
