About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. I also have worked with sick dogs, elderly dogs, and wired puppies. I can assure you I will care for your dog the exact way I would for mine, all the love, treats and pets I have. I work a very flexible schedule at my day job and it is only about 5 minutes away from my home, so I am able to come home at work if need be. We are normally free and around our home on the weekend. We have a very large side and back yard that I would love to provide supervised play time with your dog. If your dog gets along with other dogs, we own the friendliest black lab who will provide some social fun for your dog. If your dog is not great with others we are more than happy to leave our dog inside and give yours a dedicated outdoor space to play. We also have an abundance of dog toys - too many in my opinion for your pet to play with! We love to frequent local parks and go on walks on various distances as well! Whatever your dog enjoys we can aim to make happen!

My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. I worked at Pampered Pet Clinic in Hillsboro Oregon several years ago and assisted the vet with procedures, surgeries, vaccinations and medications. Does your pet need timed medications? I would be happy to help you with it. I have been involved with rescuing, transporting and fostering dogs through several rescues, including "Key to Happiness" rescue which rescued and healed many homeless and injured dogs and found them new forever homes. My approach to pet sitting is to make the animal as comfortable and happy as possible, depending on what that particular pet needs the most. Some need petting and cuddles and some need playing and activity or both. It is stressful when their family is away and I make sure to become their friend. I am not there to correct behaviors but to give them the love and security that they're missing with out their family. I also have had folks come in and look after my beloved pets when going out of town and I know that it feels a little odd with someone coming into your home. For that reason I treat your home with the utmost respect. I don't go into any rooms with doors closed and do not help myself to anything that you have not specified. I check and double check all door locks and gates and am familiar with alarm codes. Your keys stay on my keychain at all times until they returned to you. I'm a mature and stable homeowner in the area with stellar local references. I will be happy to meet and greet you in your home to make sure we are a good compatible fit and can't wait to meet your fur babies! I mostly work from my home doing my online selling and crafts so have full time availability for pet and house sitting in your home. Visits, walking and even overnights are available. If I am staying in your home while you are away I will periodically leave to manage my home and pets but never more than 4 hours. Because of the number of dogs in my home with varied temperaments and sizes I prefer to pet sit in your home, rather than mine. It keeps my pups more balanced and all pets are happier in their own environment.

About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. I currently work as a handy-man so my hours are flexible enough to need your pets every needs from stopping by and playing multiple times a day to sitting with them all day and night. I also have an animal friend home with pleanty of play area and 1 acre of fenced in yard for them to play. My 3 dogs and 3 cats welcome any animal into the household with open paws. My gentle giant st. Bernard and German shepherd are rough enough to play tug of war with the biggest of dogs but gentle enough to cuddle and protect a 5lb teacup Yorkie.
About: I am reliable and pay attention to the details when pet sitting! I have pet sit for many different animals over the years and have lots of experience. I have two of my own that live with my parents back home and I love them very much. Expect lots of pictures and a happy pet! I am a full time student and student athlete. My schedule is busy, but I am an expert of time management at this point and am looking forward to this new job opportunity. I am active and love to go on walks. I give dogs my full attention when watching them. I take lots of pictures and make sure they are being cared for. I always leave a house better than when I arrived when house sitting. I have dog sit for years and I’m excited to gain experience through Rover.
