About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

I have trained 3 puppies and taken care of a senior dog over the last three years. I work from home four days a week and the one day that I go in to the office is only for four hours. While I am home your pet will be left out with me and if they need crated while I am gone I have one that can be provided. They have full access to the home, including the couch and bed. I would help with playgroups, walks, medication administration, and bathing. I have helped with potty and crate training, including my own dogs. I have a crate and rotate situation in my own home, so I understand that not all dogs can be around others. I would help on my days off at the vet clinic. I am always off on Sundays and major holidays. I would also try to fit any pet care on my days I work as well. I have a crate and rotate situation in my home. I know to take extra care to make sure my non dog friendly dog is up prior to letting any others out. I double check to make sure the crate doors are latched. I also make sure my own gate is closed because I would hate for one of my dogs to get out.

I have a large yard, and a seperate room for pets if needed. Our yard is not fenced, but we have a supervised tie out, or leash walks! I have a very friendly dog who loves to play, or can be kept seperate if needed. I also have a very friendly cat! We live on an awesome walking trail, and I go running every day with my dog.

About: I have had a Newfoundland for the last 8 years, he is back at home with my parents. I also just recently got a golden retriever/australian shepherd mix who is now 6 months old! I have always loved animals, especially dogs and I would love to get the opportunity to work with you and your dogs. It would also provide excellent socialization skills with my dog now. I don't have a lot of experience with small dogs, but I am more than willing to walk them and play with them. Since my dog is a large breed, I am more comfortable having medium and large+ breeds around him. He is very gentle and loves to play. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
About: I have my own dog. I've grown up with dogs. I worked at a pet store when I was a teenager, and have house/pet sat before. Although, I'm not a vet, I'm observant and will keep an eye out for issues that concern you. Pet health is important. That includes nutrition and grooming. I know some think there is such a thing as over involved pet parents, I think they're family and should be treated as such. I volunteer at my church every Thursday, Backpack Program fifth Wednesdays (when they occur) and Orphan Grain Train every other month on the third Thursday. Otherwise, I take care of my dad who has COPD. I have to be home to cook for him. And take care of my own dog. Eventually, I will allow dogs to stay with me overnight, but I want to make sure my dog and said dogs get along. So that is my availability. I have a pitbull mix. She is very good around other dogs. Especially after she gets to know them. She's not aggressive, just tends to hump when excited. All dogs will need a leash if they are coming with me. I have walking trails in my community. I have no problem walking your dogs in them. Please make sure they have up to date tick meds. Also I live with my dad he will be petting and loving any pet that spends the night. My house is two story, so if you have a senior dog that needs help just let me know.
