I have a flexible schedule and small car seat for my car, I have a kennel, carrier, and dog seat cover for the larger dogs and I don’t mind them in my car if need be! I never owned or had interest in cats prior to working at the animal hospital but eventually developed a love for their unique personalities. Cat duties: It goes without saying but as a cat owner I obviously know how to change a litter box, make speciality diets, cut nails, clean out ears, hold them properly to avoid strain. About: I enjoy having dogs, and started using this website when I went out of town. Because of this, I know the high standard of care I expect from my sitter, and what you should expect too. I will take the time and care you would for your own dog. I'll give them snuggles, playtime, and lots of outside time depending on the crazy weather we have here of course. Myself and my doggy friends love to take walks, play tug-of-war, fetch and other games your dog enjoys or might enjoy. If your dog comes to our house we have a fully enclosed backyard. It is a great big yard enough to play fetch with a few dogs at the same time. Some just like to sun bathe and watch everyone else run around. Your dogs will have so much fun, and will be well loved while they are here. When my doggie friends come back for a visit the owners tell me the dogs are excited when they turn down my street. I have a Yorkie named Jack, and 3 mini Bernedoodles named Elenor, Dahlia, and Franklin. I am not taking unneutered or unspayed dogs at this time. I have lots of available hours to spend with your pets. My schedule is consistent usually, but fairly open. In the past, I was walking dogs. Not sure if I am going to start doing that or not. I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs to keep your dog company. We can play in the yard or hang out in the house. I have lots of toys and balls.

About: I've had dogs in the house since before I can remember, and as I got older I helped my dad train each of them. After caring for his personal dog for over a year in 2017, I found my own dog (Nola- a Golden) and trained her myself. She's now the perfect family dog, hiking partner, and home security system. My experience has led me to become a firm, fair, and consistent handler, making walks with me a calm and enjoyable treat for pups! I leave homes better than I found them and give lots of loves during drop-ins! I am trained in MWD/K9 first aid and resuscitation through the Army. I take my dog with me on long hikes with a backpack (rucks), my 2 mile run, or a slow walk at least once a week, as well as throwing the ball outside for her and/or walks around the block every day. I understand that energetic pups need a lot of exercise to avoid negative coping behaviors! My house is very pet friendly, we have two cats and my Golden Retriever, Nola. She is not allowed on furniture, but when humans get on the ground, it's super snuggle time! she gets brushed every few days and feeding times are a ritual instead of constant food being out. However, I know everyone cares for their pets differently so when I visit someone's home, I never turn down a pup in my lap for kisses and I'm comfortable giving medicines or special treatments/attention to animals who need it.

About: every sitter loves animals, but I really do adore animals and I love being able to just enjoy and meet new animals. My special skills with animals is to cuddle! I love making sure the fur babies are taking care of with love and respect! I currently work a full time job, M-T from 7 to 5, which is the main reason of dog sitting on the weekends! About: They call me that because once you start feeding squirrels, birds, stray cats, neighborhood dogs walking by, and maybe a raccoon & possum once or twice, like me, then you’ll start to befriend them. I care for pets by making sure to thoroughly read care instructions and immediately contacting the owner by either call or txt if I have any questions. And most importantly by never letting them out of my sight!
About: I have taken care of neighbor’s and friend’s dogs and cats since I was around 12 years old. I grew up with 4-5 dogs and cats at a time, as well as reptiles and amphibians. I have four dogs of my own now. I have cared for dogs as small as chihuahuas and as big as Great Danes. I’ve also cared for puppies and kittens, and have helped in the delivery process of nine German shepherd/Pitbull mixes. I fostered several sets of kittens while I was in high school. I did dog obedience and agility with my childhood dogs for 5 years or so when I was younger, and also went to private obedience lessons, so I am confident I can handle and care for any dog. I am a responsible pet owner as I believe in spay/neuter, I train and walk all of my dogs 4-8 days a month, I have a large fenced in backyard for them, and I keep them happy and healthy. I hope all of this will show you that I am the perfect person to care for your fur baby while you are away. I am also a photographer so I can take some pretty cute photos of your babies for you while you are away! I also offer training services outside of this app. I am working to get enough experience training so I can become certified. If you are interested, please let me know! I am currently a stay at home dog mom, so I am available pretty much any time. I will get up as early or stay up as late as needed to care for your pet. Prices explained: House sitting- $200/night. I have had multiple people try to book house sitting jobs with me and then are shocked by the price. The reason for the price being $200/night and so much higher than my check-in and dog walking prices is because I have to factor in drive time, mileage, and gas that it takes me to get to your home in back, as well as trips I will have to make in between to come home and care for my own dogs and to shower and eat as well as the hours I’m spending at your home overnight. I am away from my own home/bed, family, and dogs so I can do a job that requires me to stay somewhere most of the day and overnight to care for living beings. Because of that, I am going to charge a flat rate of $200 that covers the moment I leave my home to when I return after the last day, which includes every night I spend in your home. If you require me to stay in your home overnight for the job, I will not do it for free. Rover also takes 20% of my earnings, so I am actually only making $160/night. If you break it down, say I’m there for around 12 hours for an overnight house sitting job, I’m only making around $13/hour. If you do not require me to stay overnight, my check in and dog walking prices are much more affordable and I can check in several times a day and stay for up to an hour each time. Also, please list each animal in your home on your profile. As many other Rover sitters, I charge per animal. If there is only one dog on your profile, I expect to only be caring for one dog. It is an additional $10 or less per additional dog, depending on which service you book. I have previously talked about how I care for my dogs in my home, but I will not be offering any kind of in home care as two of my dogs are reactive. However, at the client’s home, I can follow any instructions on care down to the very last detail. I can provide your pet with cuddles and playtime if they are comfortable with it. I can walk them as well, for any amount of time or distance. I will meet your needs and your pet’s needs!

Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
