About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! Currently I’m unemployed due to having brain surgery at the end of 24’ and then the follow up treatments taking most of 25’. So I have lotsa time, attention, and love to give your pet(s). I have a park walking distance from my house that I can take dogs to run around and use the bathroom and I live in a good area for walks. I’m a big guy and can handle the larger breeds pretty well usually, but also caring for the little ones as well. I always prioritize the pet(s) health and safety first, and then having some fun second :). I would love to provide a safe and relaxing spot for your pet(s). Also FYI - for boardings if pickup on the last day is after noon I will ask for a day fee of $35. I’m currently unemployed due to brain surgery I had this time last year to remove a large cancerous tumor. Luckily I recovered beautifully and quickly and am still fully functional, minus a little extra forgetfulness but nothing bad at all. So I’m available all days of the week, and have all my time, attention and love to give your pet(s). I’m very experienced with dogs of all types large, small, u name it. I’m a big guy at 6’4” and about 225 lbs so I can handle em all. I’m also rather calm and quiet which I believe helps animals feel at ease around me. Relax while you're away knowing your furry family member(s) are well taken care of. I'm a substitute teacher in Lawrenceburg, IN, so if I get called, my hours are either 7:30-3 or 8-3:30. I also work a summer job at Riverbend, but that's only a few nights a month. When I visit a clients home, I like to first make sure to take an inventory the pets' general wellness, and just love on them a little if possible before beginning any cleaning or feeding. Then I will start potty breaks or box cleaning, food and water changes, and any other necessary tasks. Then, more loves & scritches as needed :)
About: I began working at a local animal hospital in my hometown while in high school at age 15. After I started there, my passion started! I continue to pet sit, walk dogs and care for animals however I can! I currently work a full time job and get off in the late afternoon. Anytime after 4pm I am available to care for your loved ones! About: I have owned and helped take care of my family’s animals since I was around 6 years old. I am a dog mom to a 4 year old golden retriever and she is my world. For stop ins, it’s super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.
