“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

“Janet saved the day! My husband and I were staying at a Home2 Suites locally for a couple nights with Stella and Jäger as we are moving from Ohio. The dogs struggled in the hotel and we were told that they could not stay alone as they cried and whined while we were away. I found Janet on Rover late in the evening on Monday and we were able to get daycare booked for the next day while we completed our final walk through and closing on our new house. About: I grew up with labs and when I was in high school, my mom adopted cats. I adopted my own cats in January and November of 2023. Although I have the families I love to care for, I am excited to meet some friendly faces and give more love to! I care for peoples pets preferably in their own homes. I always like to do a meet-and-greet following up to my stays/visits. I always follow how parents ask for me to care for each pet to keep them in a routine they know and love.
About: I spend my days teaching a class of 2nd graders and would love to spend my nights and weekends caring for you beloved pups. I have 3 dogs of my own and have had numerous dogs over the years! I have a great deal of experience with small breed dogs and have a sweet spot for the gentle giants. I offer dog sitting in your home, drop in visits and dog walking! All 3 of my dogs take daily meds so I am comfortable giving whatever meds your pet needs to stay comfortable. I live in the Monrovia area and would love to help care for your pup. I work in a school setting from 7-3 each day so I can drop in before school and multiple times in the evening while you’re away- and my weekends are usually completely open to meet the needs of your pups. I have open availability until the first week of August. My goal is to make your pet feel as safe, love, and cared for as possible while you’re away. My dogs are always top of mind while I’m out of town so I try and do everything I can to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Which usually means plentiful updates and photos depending on what each client requests!
About: I have grown up with dogs in my home of all sizes. I have also been taking care of neighbors, and friends pets since I was 12 providing in-house pet sitting, walks, feed, medication and more! I am currently a college student at Ball State and am available around the Muncie/Yorktown area while I am attending school. Each day varies but Monday-Thursday I only have 2 classes so I have plenty of time to watch, play, and love on your pups. Also Friday-Suday I don't have class so my schedule is open most weekends. If watching your dogs from your home I will stop in for awhile and love on your pups multiple times a day and whenever specified!
About: Over 7 years experience caring for all different kinds of animals in all capacities! I know how to administer medication, orally or injection, and wouldn’t mind doing so. I received my trainers certification from Catch Trainers Academy in 2024 and am well versed in dogs language and behavior. I’m also pet CPR/first aid certified through the Red Cross. I’m a full time pet sitter & dog trainer so I’m able to have an extremely accommodating schedule because of this. This allows me to be there for pet parents when needed! **House sitting is for the hours of 5pm-8am - price reflects 6 hours of care | please reach out if you have different needs** I believe in patiently caring for every animal, as every animal is different and special in their own way. Your animal will be loved on and given plenty of cuddles and treats. I’m willing to walk them wherever is convenient. If your dog just wants to chill (it’s like that sometimes) we can hang out. I can properly and gently re-crate any dogs and, if needed, put up any cats.

“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. About: I have had dogs for the past 40 years and cannot imagine my house without them. I have one dog currently, Toby. He is a very sweet boy who loves all dogs and people. I would love to pamper your fur baby! I am retired and have all day to take care of your special fur baby. I would love to play with your dog and make them feel special. I have a fully fenced in yard with a privacy fence, and also a doggy door, so your pooch is able to go out and in as they wish. My dog, Toby, is very social and friendly so your baby will have a playmate.
