“Tina did a wonderful job caring for Mackey while I was away for a few days. She loves dogs and looks after everyone’s pup as if they were her own. Mackey loved her walks by the pond and the trips to the dog park, and I loved getting the picture updates of her having fun. I absolutely recommend and will contact Tina again when I’m out of town. Thank you!”

“Emily is awesome! She watched both of our pups for a few nights without a meet and greet first. We were in the area to have some work done on our RV, and she watched our dogs during this time. She provided updates with photos a few times a day, and was always available to communicate with. I was concerned that one of our pups would be difficult for her, but instead I received photos of Emily holding our little girl like a baby on the first day she watched them! I cannot say enough good things about Emily! If she were local to us, she would definitely be our go-to for a pet sitter - I highly recommend her!”

“Highly recommend! Sherri and her family are the nicest 🤩 She took great care of my pup who made herself at home and got along great with their dog. Will definitely book again when we visit!!”

“Really good! My dog stayed with Jessica and her family for 3 weeks, in which there were no problems at all and my dog had a lot of fun. She gave updates and contacted me about any decisions that they were going to make regarding my dogs care. Definitely will be contacting her again if I need to go away again.”

“Wow, what an incredible family! I believe we hit the jackpot by connecting with these amazing dog sitters. It is obvious how much they love animals. Our miniature poodle, Leo, was treated like royalty at their beautiful home. And it was so wonderful to see how excited their young daughters were to spend the day with Leo. We even sent a request last minute and needed them to watch him longer than planned, and they were so accommodating and kind. It was truly an amazing experience!”

“Brittany was super nice and took very good care of Dobby for us while we were away. She sent us pics to keep us updated on how he was doing. He was happy to see us when we picked him up, but also tried to go back in with her when we left to go home so I'd say that speaks for itself.”

“Audrey was so helpful with our fur babies!! Very thorough, kind and communicative. We’ve got elderly pets, so there’s feeding and medication specifications and she handled them so well and gave us wonderful updates. Highly recommend!!”
“Wow!!! First time using Rover. It was very easy. But this review is for Emily and her fiancé. I took my cat Fluffy over for a meet and greet. Before we even met Emily and her fiance, a customer of theirs told us out side that we are going to Love them, they are great! Fluffy warmed up to Emily very quickly. Before leaving that day I was convinced Emily was the best decision for Fluffy. While away she sends updates and pictures. Very informative and responsive. I had no worries at all. I can't say enough good about this family. I know they are loving and kind. I feel like they treat each pet as their own. You will not be disappointed!! We will definitely be using them again in the Future.”
About: I have my own dog. I've grown up with dogs. I worked at a pet store when I was a teenager, and have house/pet sat before. Although, I'm not a vet, I'm observant and will keep an eye out for issues that concern you. Pet health is important. That includes nutrition and grooming. I know some think there is such a thing as over involved pet parents, I think they're family and should be treated as such. I volunteer at my church every Thursday, Backpack Program fifth Wednesdays (when they occur) and Orphan Grain Train every other month on the third Thursday. Otherwise, I take care of my dad who has COPD. I have to be home to cook for him. And take care of my own dog. Eventually, I will allow dogs to stay with me overnight, but I want to make sure my dog and said dogs get along. So that is my availability. I have a pitbull mix. She is very good around other dogs. Especially after she gets to know them. She's not aggressive, just tends to hump when excited. All dogs will need a leash if they are coming with me. I have walking trails in my community. I have no problem walking your dogs in them. Please make sure they have up to date tick meds. Also I live with my dad he will be petting and loving any pet that spends the night. My house is two story, so if you have a senior dog that needs help just let me know.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs not just my own but friends and families. I let them spend the night, go for walks, feed them, bathe them and just let them hang out with my dogs. I have a full-time job, so I can care for your pet in the early morning or evenings on weekdays, and I’m pretty open on weekends. I would love to check on your beloved pets while you go out of town or just have a busy day away from home They are welcome to spend as many nights at my house where the backyard is fenced in and they can play outside or inside I have a fenced in backyard and 2 dogs that haven't met a stranger yet. They will get fed and watered also get to hangout with 2 other dogs and play with them.

About: Hi, I'm Kat! Cats have been part of my life since childhood. I grew up with three of them and learned early on how to read their moods and needs. Today I live on a farm with my indoor cat, Buttons (with me for 3 years), plus five outdoor cats that my gran and I care for through a partnership with the county. They were once feral, unowned strays that people dumped, but we've had them spayed/neutered and vetted, and they now live safely and happily on our property. I've also pet sat for cat owners in the past, including senior cats aged 12 and up, so I'm comfortable with the extra care older cats sometimes need (medication reminders and mobility issues). I'm also happy to help grooming if your cat is receptive to it.

“AJ came home with me and was not anxious. He was happy in the home with the family and seemed to have been calm with the other dogs around. That’s progress for him and I thank Sherri for providing the environment for him to get used to other dogs.”

And I have uploaded a copy of my PetCare Insurance in my photos that covers potential incidents in your home, my home and in the park. I’ve given medication’s. I will follow your instructions to the letter and I don’t have an opinion. I have a lot of free time while I’m working on a book and don’t really need the money. I just would love the experience. I think the most important part is safety. PetCare Insurance for the unforeseen, but vigilance eliminates a lot of that. Pets are often curious and you need to make sure they’re not getting into harms way. I can take your dog to the park, around the neighborhood, for a drive or just stand in the yard. It’s all up to you. I will follow your instructions without opinion.
About: ABOUT ME: Completely insured WITH Animal Bailee Insurance and Vet Protection Coverage through PCI. I have been on and off Rover since I was in college and own my small business. Currently, I have a tuxedo kitty named, Mr. Sir. His is my laid back, street rat, expert hunter that does not like to be indoors. I have currently have a flock of 14 chickens. This is my second flock of chickens owned since 2019. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. Maple, my lab, was a diabetic for 7 years, requiring insulin injections. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. Therefore I am always available for drop-ins and pup walks throughout the week and weekends. I am completely insured with $1M general liability, Animal Bailee Insurance, and Vet Protection Coverage. I care for pets in the same way I would care for my own pets, like family. Play time, walks, relaxing on the couch, eating treats, you know... just hanging out.

I would definitely recommend them!”

“Jo and Jess are great dog sitters! They watched my small dog, Coconut, for one day of daycare and I plan on utilizing their services again. I would definitely recommend Jo and Jess!”

“Serene looked after Coco for the whole day and I’m glad it was her as she showed that she truly cared for him. She gave me an update throughout the day too. Wouldn’t ask for a better dog sitter!”

About: I’ve always always had a soft spot in my heart for animals. My parents have always had a ton, from a bunch of different breeds of dogs to pigs, to chameleons, to bunnies. I’ve always had experience with animals, it’s odd if I don’t have one around! I have a kitty named Nala and a Cocker Spaniel named Goose. They are my pride and joy! I feel as though pet care is just as important as self care. Animals are there for us, as our support, therefore, they should be taken care of just as well. Making sure that your animal is not only healthy, but happy is a priority to me! Having a routine and making sure that all needs are met is a must. I feel as though your home is also your pets home, therefore, enabling them to have their own space is important. Also, making sure your animal is fed and watered and stimulated and energized plays a large role. Playing with toys or running around in the yard are both great ways of stimulating the brain!
About: Have taken care of animals most of my life. I usually babysit/check on animals and let them out for our neighbors dogs before we moved from Indiana to Wickenburg. I currently do not have a full time job. My husband is usually gone for work during the day so I am home all day. We do not have a fenced in yard, but can take them out with a leash. We have one cat, and one small dog. We usually have to take our dog and walk with her to go to the bathroom.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years and have experience with both dogs and cats of all ages and personalities. I’ve also worked with cats for 2 years, and they’re one of my favorite animals to care for. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet like they’re my own. About: I have worked in the pet industry for 10 years. I have done everything from cleaning kennels, to working as a vet assistant in a clinic. I also have experience with farm and exotic animals. I currently don't have furbabies of my own, but I find them very therapeutic to interact with. Life is boring without furbabies in my life. I will enter the home as instructed by owners, and proceed in a professional manner. I will use my education as a vet assistant and future vet tech to ensure the animal(s) experience minimal upheaval of their daily routines.

About: I have experience with a variety of breeds of dogs. I have owned dogs that are super high maintenance, dogs that love to lounge, anxiety ridden dogs, and dogs that are on the spicy side. I understand the different cues of dogs and how to read their body language. I have experience in walking multiple dogs. I also have experience in training dogs. I trained my Shetland Sheepdog for 4H and we made it to the state fair. I also taught him many silly tricks. I can be a professional fetch player or a professional cuddler, whichever your dog prefers. I can also just be a treat giver if your dog prefers space. I am currently working part time as a server, but my schedule is very flexible. I am a recently graduated college student, with the hopes of going to graduate school in the coming semester. Animal trust is very important to me. It is important that I earn you and your animals trust, and we can grow to be best friends or acquaintances if your animal is not into that. I hope to make your time away from your animal as easy as possible.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. Dogs have been part of my life since I was seven years old, and over the years I've rescued animals, volunteered with pet organizations, and fostered Boston Terriers and Havanese dogs rescued from puppy mills. During the past year and a half, I've cared for dogs, cats, and even chickens through TrustedHousesitters across Colorado, Montana, Wisconsin, and Indiana. I've been entrusted with everything from weekend stays to six-month house sits, and I truly enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality, routines, and quirks. My goal is to provide pets with a calm, loving, and safe experience while their families are away. Whether we're going for walks, playing, cuddling, or simply keeping each other company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I also love sending photos and updates so you can feel connected to your furry family members while you're away. I recently settled in Colorado and am excited to make caring for animals my primary focus. In addition to pet care, I also have extensive experience with fascia and bodywork techniques for animals, which has deepened my appreciation for supporting their comfort, mobility, and overall well-being. Pet care is currently one of my main priorities and something I truly enjoy. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to plan my days around the needs of the pets in my care. Whether that means morning walks, playtime, feeding routines, administering medications, or simply providing companionship, I enjoy being present and attentive throughout the day. I work independently and spend a lot of time outdoors, so I especially enjoy incorporating walks, hikes, and quality one-on-one time with dogs into my daily routine. I also appreciate the quieter companionship of cats and enjoy creating a calm, comfortable environment where they can feel safe and cared for while their families are away. When caring for pets in a client's home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I take time to learn each pet's feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, sleeping habits, and any special instructions so they can feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own and strive to leave it exactly as I found it. I pay close attention to safety during walks, outings, and playtime, and I keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages for added peace of mind. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and sensitive, or a senior needing extra attention, I adapt my care to their individual personality and needs.
About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a dog and recently became a dog owner myself, and I quickly realized just how much joy, comfort, and companionship they bring into our lives. I’m completely obsessed with my own pup and know firsthand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable when you can’t be there. There was a time when I needed someone to help care for my pup, and I remember how much that support meant to me. Now, I’d love to be that person for other pet parents. Whether your dog needs a walk, some extra attention, or simply a little companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same patience, care, and affection I’d want for my own. I’m excited to get to know each pup’s unique personality and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re in my care. 🐾 With a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pup the walks, attention, and love they deserve! 🐾 I know how much peace of mind it brings to have someone you trust care for your dog, and I’d love to be that person for you and your pup. My pup is crate-trained and has his own comfortable space for when I’m not home, but otherwise he’s free to roam around the house as he pleases. We also have a backyard where he can safely enjoy some fresh air, play, and explore. I want any dog staying with us to feel comfortable, relaxed, and right at home.
About: I've been taking care of dogs almost all my life. I've had so many different breeds in my lifetime. I love all kinds of animals but definitely have to say dogs are my favorite! I work on my time. I book cleanings and caregiving help to older adults. So if I have a job for sitting lined up I just don't accept any cleaning jobs. I do sitting, walking, and boarding. I can accommodate up to two large dogs and I have a safe area for walks and playtime. I also can come to pets home if needed to do potty breaks ect.

About: I am a mom of two boys ages 14 and 12. They are both very responsible and loving to all animals.I am a behavior specialist with elementary schools and love being around people. I love animals and have a turtle. We had two amazing dogs that have now both passed. I have always owned animals and know how important they are to a family. I am very responsible and flexible. I am available in the morning and evenings and on weekends. I like all animals and all sizes. I would feel comfortable with any breed. I would love to help others while they are away. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope I will be able to help many families. We are not ready to add one to our family yet so we would love to share our love with your pets while you are away. I promise they will be loved and be treated like family. I am a behavior specialist and am off all summer. I have the availability to meet your fur babies needs. When school starts I am gone from 8 am to 4 daily. I have a fenced yard and two amazing kids to keep you fur babies happy . Your fur baby will be in a loving environment.

About: I've had dogs all my life. Growing up, I cared for my English Bulldog, Scout, who needed specific attention to her skin folds and ears. That type of care taught me to be thorough and gentle with dogs who have special grooming needs. I've also worked hands-on with training, including teaching my sister's Border Collie to clear hurdles. Over the years, I've dog sat for a wide range of needs and breeds. I'm experienced administering daily medications, including heart medication and anti-anxiety medication, and I'm comfortable caring for dogs with degenerative conditions that affect their balance and mobility. If it's a toy breed or a large working breed, I adjust my care to fit each dog's size and health needs. I'm comfortable walking, grooming/washing, and any additional support they require. I am currently in nursing school and most of my pre requisites are online. If you feel comfortable with me staying by your pets side the entire time, that is no problem for me. I provide care exclusively at my clients' homes rather than my own. I live on a farm without a fenced yard around the house, so for the safety of any pets in my care, client visits are the best fit. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I'd want for my own. I always clean up after pets, take out the trash before leaving, and I'm happy to help with light housekeeping duties related to their care. I'm also glad to provide my background check and driving record upon request, so you can feel fully confident and comfortable with who's caring for your pet.

“Scottie got lots of love an exercise while he was with Diana and Kevin… and we got lots of photos! He’s still a puppy and a handful, so we are so thankful you guys took care of him!”

“We have used Derrick multiple times for watching our dog.He takes wonderful care of our Australian shepherd and always sends videos and pictures. He's become the first thing I book before vacation to make sure Millie is taken care of and I dont have to worry! 10/10 recommend!”

“Rachel and her family are so great. Our dog is usually a little nervous, and doesn’t always eat well when he stays with a new family, but he did great with Rachel and settled in without any problems. We are so grateful to have such a caring place for our dog to stay while we are out of town. Rachel was very pleasant to work with, sent lots of pictures, and took great care of our dog. We can’t wait to use her services again! :)”

“Jessica and David took great care of Mocha. They communicated well, sent us lovely photos of our pooch during her stay, and treated her to a walk, car ride and pup cup. They are true dog people! Absolutely would book them again.”

“The most amazing sitter ever! Alana was flexible with the dates and able to change last minute. She took such good care of my dog, sent pictures all the time, and updated me with everything. He was so so happy staying with her & had the best time! Can not say how much I recommend Alana!!”
“Alyssa was awesome! She was super understanding even when we were a little late picking up our fur-baby. She was very communitive and sent pictures as this was the first time he was watched by anyone. She had a clean home and plenty of room for him to play. Very very happy with our experience I definitely recommend her! 10/10 will ask her to watch him again in the near future.”

“Marissa and her husband were so great with our high-energy pups! Her dog Dewey is sweet and playful with other dogs, and they came home exhausted. They had a clean, safe home and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Brianna took great care of my doggo and was prompt with all communications, updates, and photos. I feel comfortable leaving my dog there and will definitely rebook!”

“I’ve used a lot of sitters here on Rover, and Jason is the best by a long shot! His love for animals shows in how well he takes care of them; my anxious girl LOVES Jason and knows she’s going to have a fun day every time she sees him. He’s a great communicator, and will always act in the best interest of your pet. Not to mention, I’ve gotten some of the best quality photos of my pretty girl from Jason!”

“Kelly took excellent care of our dog and he had tons of fun! She sent pics and videos daily to let us know how he was doing. Highly recommend and would allow her to keep our furry friend again.”

“This was our dogs' first stay with anyone new. They were both anxious & kept peeing & pooping in Surama's home because of it, even though she was taking them out very often. Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. She also sent pictures of them playing with her family & other dogs, which my daughter especially appreciated. Surama was so kind & we will definitely use her in the future.😊👍”

About: I have taken care of dogs since middle school. I love dogs and have two on my own - a Dalmatian and a Basset Hound. My family is very active and we walk the doggies daily! My job is very flexible and I have a lot of extra time during the day to spend time with the doggies! I have had dogs all my life! I love dogs and I spend a lot of time outdoors with the doggies! I make sure the doggies get at least one walk a day but more often than not they get walked twice daily.
“This was Yoshi's second time. He had his first longest time away from home and we couldn't have found a better second home for him. He came back to us a happy, healthy and a goofy pup that he is ☺️ Lori took amazing care of him and we're extremely grateful!”

“Samantha was great! She picked up & dropped off my dog, kept me updated throughout the stay, and even reached out to ask how to comfort him when he was crying. I really appreciated how caring and attentive she was. I'd definitely recommend her”
