Since Finnley is selective with humans, we met with Hugh several days before leaving Finnley. There were no issues, so that indicated that Finny approved of Hugh which is important to us. About: I had German Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, a Jindo, and a mixed-breed dog back in Korea, and all of them were well trained. When I meet a new dog, I try to become their friend by making gentle eye contact, lowering myself to their eye level, and offering my hand while patiently waiting until they feel I am safe. I have also dealt with aggressive dogs several times, and in the end, they too became my friends. Since I work from home with flexible time during the week, I have not had my own pet yet because I felt it would be unfair to leave them alone for long hours. However, on weekends I usually dedicate time to myself through photography, driving, and hiking, and I would truly enjoy having the company of your dog or cat during those times. I am full time home, so I have lots of time to play with your dog. I can walk them, play with them, take them to dog park. I have a fenced yard that your fur baby can play during in the day. My golden retriever is very friendly and happy to play with other dogs. I usually walk them twice a day besides the dog park, one in the morning and one in the evening. There would be two 1- 1 1/2 hour play time in the backyard too.

About: My house has never had less than 3 animals in it, including a parakeet. I’ve worked on my family farm and cared for animals for over 20 years. I currently work full time from home, so I am available to provide services on weekdays and on the weekends anytime. I can work around my current work schedule very easily from home. I can feed/water, walk, take out, play, clean potty pads or litter boxes/cages or tanks, administer medications, assist in potty training, dog cpr, care for animals post surgery. I do work full time mon-fri however I am available for multiple daily check ins to perform tasks with your pets throughout the day. Weekends open. I care for every animal as if it is my own no matter the species. I am very attentive while provide space for those pets who are shy. I ensure get perform all tasks so your pet is comfortable while awaiting my next check in in.

“We felt very comfortable leaving our Scottie, Finnley with Hugh. From the first contact, communication was easy and efficient. Since Finnley is selective with humans, we met with Hugh several days before leaving Finnley. There were no issues, so that indicated that Finny approved of Hugh which is important to us. Hugh sent pictures and texts of how things were going so we were well informed. We would leave Finny with Hugh again when needed.”

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.

About: I had German Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, a Jindo, and a mixed-breed dog back in Korea, and all of them were well trained. When I meet a new dog, I try to become their friend by making gentle eye contact, lowering myself to their eye level, and offering my hand while patiently waiting until they feel I am safe. I have also dealt with aggressive dogs several times, and in the end, they too became my friends. Since I work from home with flexible time during the week, I have not had my own pet yet because I felt it would be unfair to leave them alone for long hours. However, on weekends I usually dedicate time to myself through photography, driving, and hiking, and I would truly enjoy having the company of your dog or cat during those times. Taking care of a pet would naturally fit into my routine as part of those weekend activities, giving me both companionship and joy while also ensuring the pet has quality time and attention. In my home, I would care for pets as if they were my own friends—providing attention, playtime, and walks, even on rainy days, to make sure they stay active and happy. In a client’s home, I would first ask about any rules or restrictions, such as areas of the house that are off-limits, preferred snacks, daily routines, and any medical concerns. I believe following the owner’s guidance is very important to ensure the pet feels comfortable and safe in their familiar environment.

Beyond being nurturing, Katherine was clearly experienced in caring for dogs. My dog is 14 and Katherine went above and beyond in making sure the environment was comfortable for her. She sent photos throughout my pup's stay, and my pup was relaxed and happy in every photo. I think my dog wanted to live with Katherine after her stay. She was SO HAPPY when I brought her home. She was looking at me like "thank you so much for this vacation, mom" -- seriously. Katherine went far beyond making sure my dog was fed and safe. She was spending quality time with her, playing, and treating her with kindness and lots of affection. About: I’m kind of getting back into pet sitting , but I used to pet sit when I was 12 to 15 years old and I definitely miss it I work second shift locally here in Franklin and I get off of work around 12:30 AM and I am typically home around 1 o’clock I always make sure that my apartment is nice and clean, so there is nothing that they can chew on and especially nothing that they can choke on
