“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs and cats to lizards and frogs, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I’m an active college student who loves being outdoors, especially hiking and long walks near the parks around me. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or just relax with some cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for! My schedule is very flexible, which makes pet care easy to fit into my week. I currently work part-time as a hostess, but I’m usually available Monday through Friday throughout the day. Starting June 8, I will be in summer classes Monday-Friday 9 AM to 12 PM. If you need care outside those times, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to work something out! I live in a spacious apartment with access to a fenced-in rooftop yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs. When I get clients I make sure to ask them about their dogs routine, so I can do my best to mimic that.

About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

I love taking dogs on adventures, whether that’s hitting trails to burn off energy or just enjoying a long, sniff filled neighborhood walk. I love sending lots of photo updates & making sure your dogs feel safe, happy, & loved! I have a super flexible schedule. My days are open enough that I can easily prioritize structured potty breaks & long walks, without having to rush back to a strict 9-5 desk job. In my home your pet becomes a part of the family! My place is a pet friendly environment where they can fully relax & get cozy. While I don’t have a fence, I have a massive yard with a secure lead, so the dogs can get plenty of space while staying safe. Plus, they’ll get tons of attention & plenty of couch cuddles! If I’m coming to your house for a walk or a drop in, I’ll treat your space with total respect. I’ll strictly follow whatever routine you have for feeding, crating, or locking up. I'm always mindful of the little things like wiping muddy paws if it's rainy & making sure the water bowl is totally fresh before I leave. Plus, you can definitely count on lots of fun photo updates so you know exactly how great they’re doing! Whether your pet is hanging out at my place or I’m visiting yours, making sure they feel safe and comfortable is my biggest priority.

About: I’ve grown up with a large family, siblings older and younger. All living under the same roof, giving me no other choice but to have a great amount of patience. Any pet owner like myself knows, you have to amazing patience to be the best pet owner. I have a fur baby of my own and would want him to be with someone who has experience and is truly genuine like myself. I am currently a full time college student who will be home on a very extended break. I feel helping others taking care of their babies is the best thing for me. I have a fur baby myself who is quite young in age and full of energy, so with permission of course I would allow our doggies to play together to burn a lot of that energy. About: I've been taking care of dogs almost all my life. I've had so many different breeds in my lifetime. I love all kinds of animals but definitely have to say dogs arey favorite! I work on my time. I book cleanings and caregiving help to older adults. So if I have a job for sitting lined up I just don't accept any cleaning jobs. I do sitting, walking, and boarding. I can accommodate up to two large dogs and I have a safe area for walks and playtime. I also can come to pets home if needed to do potty breaks ect.

“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. Thanks again for a great stay!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, from dogs and cats to lizards and frogs, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. I’m an active college student who loves being outdoors, especially hiking and long walks near the parks around me. Whether your pet wants to play, explore, or just relax with some cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel loved and cared for! My schedule is very flexible, which makes pet care easy to fit into my week. I currently work part-time as a hostess, but I’m usually available Monday through Friday throughout the day. Starting June 8, I will be in summer classes Monday-Friday 9 AM to 12 PM. If you need care outside those times, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to work something out! I live in a spacious apartment with access to a fenced-in rooftop yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs. When I get clients I make sure to ask them about their dogs routine, so I can do my best to mimic that.

I left my cat with Laura for 5 nights while I was out of town and got updates on how he was getting acclimated to the environment and what he was up to with pictures every day. She’s so good with animals and introducing them to one another (with regards to my cat meeting her cats), and even gave me some helpful cat care tips. Know that if you leave your fur baby with her, they’ll definitely be cared for and loved in your absence. I could tell Cheeto really liked her and was a bit bummed when we left; he got a vacation just as much as I did. :) I’ll definitely be looking for Laura’s availability next time I need a cat sitter again.”
