About: I have experience caring for dogs at all stages of life, from puppies to senior and those with special needs. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. I have also raised and house-trained two puppies into adulthood, who are still with my family today! One of them is a unique mix of Belgian Malinois, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, and Rottweiler (Try saying that five times fast!). Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: I have had my own dogs, plus taken care of my friends dogs in my home for 20+ years. I also have 4 dog adoring teenagers who also will love on your fur baby. We have a 2 year old Morkie with a big personality. I am a stay at home homeschool mom. Other than taking teens to/from work or at the gym, I am routinely home for dog care. There is rarely a time when I or one of my children isn’t home. I am able to walk your dog at our home or yours, or let them in our fenced back yard if they are staying with me. And for nightshifters, I can let your dog out late in the evening because I naturally stay awake until approximately midnight to 2am. My true availability (I’m unable to modify the calendar to reflect this) is Monday & Tues available all day/night, Wednesday & Thursday between 7:45am to 4pm, Fridays before 2:30pm, and Saturday & Sundays I’m generally unavailable but open to requests on a weekly basis (especially if we have an established relationship). I am flexible & will do what you think is best for your dog. I am used to staying calm under pressure & providing a reassuring presence for your dog. I’m especially good for dogs which need a physical outlet seeing as I lead an active lifestyle with lots of running, walking, bike riding, hiking, etc.

Communication was excellent (photos and videos, along with messages about how he was doing), and Cassandra was willing to accommodate drop-off and pickup requests to fit my schedule for the weekend. I have always been apprehensive about boarding my dogs at a kennel if I have to go out of town for more than one night. Cassandra made Banjo feel at home and kept him in a normal, relaxed environment and routine.”
