About: My very first pet was a beautiful long-haired cat from the shelter; after finding out she was pregnant, we named her Momma Luna! She gave birth to 4 kittens; I was a lucky kid. I have babysat for kittens & adult cats alike. I have also had community cats come to my backyard for food & attention. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: Our family has taken care of friends’ dogs and cats for four years or more. We are now offering our pet services to more ‘07 neighbors. During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. We have experience letting ourselves into owners’ homes while they are away to feed, walk, and let pets out for bathroom breaks. We also have a large fenced in yard occupied by our very friendly golden retriever to share with dogs who will treat him well.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 18 years old. I am not intimidated by size or breed of dog or cat. I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, horses, chickens, llamas, and a hedgehog. If owner was okay with it I took the dog to work with me or to a park to walk. I currently work part-time at a park on Thursdays (10am-6pm) and Fridays(2pm-7pm) and/or when someone needs coverage. I also attend church on Sundays. Otherwise I am available all days. My true availability (I’m unable to modify the calendar to reflect this) is Monday & Tues available all day/night, Wednesday & Thursday between 7:45am to 4pm, Fridays before 2:30pm, and Saturday & Sundays I’m generally unavailable but open to requests on a weekly basis (especially if we have an established relationship). I am flexible & will do what you think is best for your dog. I am used to staying calm under pressure & providing a reassuring presence for your dog. I’m especially good for dogs which need a physical outlet seeing as I lead an active lifestyle with lots of running, walking, bike riding, hiking, etc.

“Cassandra did a great job taking care of Banjo for two nights. Communication was excellent (photos and videos, along with messages about how he was doing), and Cassandra was willing to accommodate drop-off and pickup requests to fit my schedule for the weekend. I have always been apprehensive about boarding my dogs at a kennel if I have to go out of town for more than one night. Cassandra made Banjo feel at home and kept him in a normal, relaxed environment and routine.”

Since loosing him Jolly has been having to relearn life and how to cope with things and is very unsure of just about everything. Alexis took this in stride and by the end of her time there she was happy, playing, and wagging her tail. Alexis kept me up to date on how she was doing and sent tons of pictures and videos.
