“How can I say enough about Clint & Leah? Took a peak at Rover.com at the recommendation of an animal loving friend. Read the profiles. How can you decide who to invite into your mother’s senior living residence to care for her cat for two weeks based on a brief description???? Prayed abt it for awhile and reached out to Clint and Leah. Texted them, believe we spoke on the phone before their initial “meet and greet visit.” (No charge btw). They are a delightful couple, involved in ministry to people and critters! They took on the challenge of caring for our somewhat grumpy cat Mittens. Besides their daily visits to feed and water our cat, the brought in the mail & newspaper, watered the plants, took them out for a sunbath on a warm day, then brought them in from the cold another, played with Mittens, brought my attention to some health concerns, emptied her litter box, swept floor, even brought Mittens her favorite treats, needed hair ball medicine, and a new toy! They visited daily, sending pics and notes abt their visits. When the contracted time was up, the made an extra visit (also non-paid) to return the keys. The peace of mind they gave me was a blessing! If anyone needs a pet sitter for their pet, please don’t be afraid to call on Clint and Leah. They are awesome caretakers. Took a risk on the unknown and Mittens won!”

About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. There is a regular metal crate and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.

About: I am a stay at home mom who loves animals. I had many dogs growing up, and as an adult I have trained several puppies to be my own companions. I cared for our elderly chocolate lab and jack russell terrier, so I'm familiar with caring for all ages of pets. Currently our family has a female lab mix. We also have an outdoor cat that we adopted through Humane Fort Wayne after fostering her and her litter of kittens. Our children range in age from 5-14 and share my love for animals. They love to help with our pets and give them attention. We live on around 4 acres. There is plenty of space to go for a sniffing walk around the property or up and down our quiet lane. If you're looking for a quiet getaway for your beloved pet, then our home would be perfect! Pet sitting is my sole job. I am home all day other than for short trips out for errands or to pick up kids from school. I treat each animal as if they were my own. At our home, dogs are taken out every 2-4 hours for potty breaks/walks. We always keep pets on a leash when outside.

About: Our family has taken care of friends’ dogs and cats for four years or more. We are now offering our pet services to more ‘07 neighbors. During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. We have experience letting ourselves into owners’ homes while they are away to feed, walk, and let pets out for bathroom breaks. We also have a large fenced in yard occupied by our very friendly golden retriever to share with dogs who will treat him well.

We also just adopted a dog that we have previously sat for. I currently work at a nursing home, my boyfriend and I work opposite schedules so someone is always at home with your fur babies. Also with it being summer I have my two kiddos help out. I will make sure each animal has proper care including a clean safe cozy shelter, clean water, regular bathroom breaks, going on walks for at least half an hour, who knows it could be longer, and so much more!

About: I have been a dog parent for 5+ years and truly believe they are part of our family. My husband and I have been trusted to care for many friends and family’s dogs and love when our own dog has others to interact/connect with! ❤️ I am at home most of the time taking care of my own dog and keeping her company while my husband is at work. When I do leave the house, I normally time it so my dog is alone no longer than 4 hours at a time. When we care for pets in our home, we like to make sure they go outside at least every 2-4 hours for potty breaks and play time, follow their food and medication schedule, and make sure they all get the love and attention they need!
