About: I am currently working at Decatur Veterinary Clinic and I have been there for a year now. I am one of the girls who cares for the pets after surgery and if they are boarding! I love to interact with dogs and cats and make them feel so loved! I currently work Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings at the vet clinic! I am also attending Huntington University in the fall and I am committed to play volleyball there as well, so I have practice every Wednesday from 5-7 pm and then I go back to my high school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8-10 am for extra reps! I have a 12 year old chihuahua and a 8 month old kitten! They are slowly learning to get along but I do have to monitor them if they are out at the same time because my kitten always wants to play but my chihuahua isn’t always a fan! I am always keeping an eye on pets and making sure they aren’t getting into any trouble!

How can you decide who to invite into your mother’s senior living residence to care for her cat for two weeks based on a brief description???? Prayed abt it for awhile and reached out to Clint and Leah. Texted them, believe we spoke on the phone before their initial “meet and greet visit.” (No charge btw). They are a delightful couple, involved in ministry to people and critters! They took on the challenge of caring for our somewhat grumpy cat Mittens. Besides their daily visits to feed and water our cat, the brought in the mail & newspaper, watered the plants, took them out for a sunbath on a warm day, then brought them in from the cold another, played with Mittens, brought my attention to some health concerns, emptied her litter box, swept floor, even brought Mittens her favorite treats, needed hair ball medicine, and a new toy! They visited daily, sending pics and notes abt their visits. When the contracted time was up, the made an extra visit (also non-paid) to return the keys. The peace of mind they gave me was a blessing! If anyone needs a pet sitter for their pet, please don’t be afraid to call on Clint and Leah. They are awesome caretakers. About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. There is a regular metal crate and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.
About: Our family has taken care of friends’ dogs and cats for four years or more. We are now offering our pet services to more ‘07 neighbors. During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. As a new transplant to Fort Wayne from Brooklyn New York, things are very different. Our 2 year old poodle isn’t use to the new routine or people yet and Tracy was patient, communicative and caring. I felt comfortable letting him into our home and loved getting the photos of our happy - despite Super nervous- pup with his tail up trotting along. About: I have a dog of my own and understand the responsibility that comes with taking care of your pet. I’ve always had many of pets throughout my life and would love to add your pet to my extended family. I am looking forward to showing your pet the love and attention that all humans and pets need. I live an active lifestyle so I am always out and about taking my dog on a walk. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or night I will be walking with my pupper and would love for your pet to come along for the ride. I am a frequent attendee at the dog parks and as long as your dog is vaccinated I’m sure they would have a grand time there as well. I can feed, walk, run, and even pick up your dogs poop. I understand the responsibility that comes with pet care as I have a dog of my own who I’ve raised since he was a wee pup. I am able to work with pets of all sizes as many of my friends and family have had me watch their pets while they were away.
