“Once again, we are thrilled to have worked with Karisa to take care of our beloved cats, Klondike, and Sprite, while we were away in Boston for eight days. She always goes above and beyond, not just feeding and playing with our furbabies, but also making sure they get adequate stimulation on our back porch looking at the birds in our backyard. She also cleans not just the cats bowls, each meal, but also their automatic feeders, which get quite dirty over time, making sure they were spotless before she left. She also waters our plants, brings in packages left on our front porch, and takes out the trash, all without our having to ask. She even left cat treats attached to a thank you note on our kitchen counter,on her last day. She is conscientiousness itself and a pleasure to work with. This is our second time engaging Karisa’s services through Rover, and we will most definitely continue being repeat customers.”

About: I grew up in a loving cat only household so I’m used to how these sweet but independent creatures work! Besides doing pet setting and daily check-ins for cats, I have experience at a cat only vet clinic and grooming salon. I learned a lot how to correctly care for these creatures and read their energy. About: Ever since I was around 5 or 6, I always remember being in a home with pets. Whether it was dogs, cats, reptiles, a potbellied pig, and even smaller animals. Older or very young, all of the animals I have had and cared for were very spoiled and given a life well deserved. I love every single animal and couldn't imagine a life without them. I believe that all animals deserve proper care, and a loving home. Any animal is loved as if they were my own. I am currently working at Kroger part time, three days a week. I am going to school full time as well. The days I work at Kroger are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- 5 a.m.- 9 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days I attend school and go all day. I plan on fitting in pet care after working at my job, and possibly weekends. I care for pets in my home or a client's home by greeting them and making sure they have everything they need. This includes making sure they are comfortable enough, with plenty of food and water. I also make sure they get taken outside or have access to use the bathroom often or whenever needed. Activities, such as playing, walks, or tricks is something I make sure to fit in as well.
About: I absolutely adore cats! Growing up, there was always a cat in our house, so I’ve been around them my entire life. We also had a cat with PRCA where we had to administer medication daily! About: I have had my own dogs, plus taken care of my friends dogs in my home for 20+ years. I also have 4 dog adoring teenagers who also will love on your fur baby. We have a 2 year old Morkie with a big personality. I am a stay at home homeschool mom. Other than taking teens to/from work or at the gym, I am routinely home for dog care. There is rarely a time when I or one of my children isn’t home. I am able to walk your dog at our home or yours, or let them in our fenced back yard if they are staying with me. About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. About: I've taken care of dogs since I could remember, I personally have a dog named Baxter that I have taken care of sense I was 14 years old. I have taken care of a newfoundland poodle mix named Arlo for the past two years as well. I am currently training in my off season as a professional hockey player. I have two months off and nothing but love to give for dogs. I am in need of a summer job and this would be the perfect fit! Pet/animal care and safety is my number one priority. I know from personal experience what it is like when someone does not care for your pet when paid and expected to. “I was so nervous to find a caregiver for our Zoey. The reason is Zoey is a 3 year old epileptic boxer. Even though her seizures are controlled I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to find someone to keep her overnight and be responsible for her medication. Then I found Jennifer on Rover. I set up a meet and greet and I just knew Jennifer was ready for the challenge. We set up an overnight stay while my husband and I had to be out of town. Jennifer sent so many pictures and updates. It was wonderful!! Zoey was in great hands and received amazing care. We are so thankful for her love of animals and for the more “needy” animals. Jennifer was a rockstar!!”
