Our cat sitter couldn't come to check in on Farah while we were on vacation due to unexpected health decline. Heather was willing to with very little notice. We were gone for 13 days and had Heather do a drop in for 11 days. Farah requires eye cleaning just about every day and is super picky about how clean her litter box is. She also hates getting her eyes cleaned and Heather did such a great job with her eye care. She made sure she had clean water each day too. Heather did the best job!! About: I've only had a cat for a year now, but I take care of him when my roommate needs assistance. I have fed, watered, cleaned his litter box, and played with him while she is gone. I also have learned the body language of cats. Most cats have liked me when I was growing up and I would say I am a pretty patient person, so I don't get upset if they don't initially like me either.

About: Our family has taken care of friends’ dogs and cats for four years or more. We are now offering our pet services to more ‘07 neighbors. During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. We have experience letting ourselves into owners’ homes while they are away to feed, walk, and let pets out for bathroom breaks. We also have a large fenced in yard occupied by our very friendly golden retriever to share with dogs who will treat him well.
About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. There is a regular metal crate and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.

I have taken care of a newfoundland poodle mix named Arlo for the past two years as well. I am currently training in my off season as a professional hockey player. About: I think what sets me apart from other individuals is my patience and love to pets. I’m a genuine guy with plenty of time in my schedule to take great and attentive care of any beloved animal. I’m free as a bird. I’m always looking to help others. Right now, that includes relieving animal owners of the anxiety of not having a great care taker. I’m down for a walk snow or rain. I’m also brilliant with keeping routine. I get along great with all animals. Building trust with a loved pet can be such a reward. It’s truly soul bonding. While I’m not in the position to currently house my own cat or dog doesn’t mean I’m not passionate about taking care of other furry friends.

I have always been apprehensive about boarding my dogs at a kennel if I have to go out of town for more than one night. Cassandra made Banjo feel at home and kept him in a normal, relaxed environment and routine.”
