Our cat sitter couldn't come to check in on Farah while we were on vacation due to unexpected health decline. Heather was willing to with very little notice. We were gone for 13 days and had Heather do a drop in for 11 days. Farah requires eye cleaning just about every day and is super picky about how clean her litter box is. She also hates getting her eyes cleaned and Heather did such a great job with her eye care. She made sure she had clean water each day too. Heather did the best job!! About: Our family has taken care of friends’ dogs and cats for four years or more. We are now offering our pet services to more ‘07 neighbors. During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

“Cassandra did a great job taking care of Banjo for two nights. Communication was excellent (photos and videos, along with messages about how he was doing), and Cassandra was willing to accommodate drop-off and pickup requests to fit my schedule for the weekend. I have always been apprehensive about boarding my dogs at a kennel if I have to go out of town for more than one night. Cassandra made Banjo feel at home and kept him in a normal, relaxed environment and routine.”

“Pen had the most wonderful two and a half weeks with Rebecca. He loves her so much I plan to set up some daycare visits just so he can spend time with his best pal. They went in walks and snuggled on the couch, she gave him lots of love and attention, he was always happy and well cared for. She sent updates and pictures every day so I could feel confident he was relaxed and happy. He even made friends with the people in her neighborhood! He’s a social butterfly and she knew I was okay with him saying hello. This was my first time leaving him for a long vacation and I was really nervous about how successful he would be, but he had the most wonderful time with Rebecca and I was able to relax and enjoy myself knowing how happy my guy was.”
