About: I am currently working at Decatur Veterinary Clinic and I have been there for a year now. I am one of the girls who cares for the pets after surgery and if they are boarding! I love to interact with dogs and cats and make them feel so loved! I currently work Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings at the vet clinic! I am also attending Huntington University in the fall and I am committed to play volleyball there as well, so I have practice every Wednesday from 5-7 pm and then I go back to my high school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8-10 am for extra reps! I have a 12 year old chihuahua and a 8 month old kitten! They are slowly learning to get along but I do have to monitor them if they are out at the same time because my kitten always wants to play but my chihuahua isn’t always a fan! I am always keeping an eye on pets and making sure they aren’t getting into any trouble!

“How can I say enough about Clint & Leah? Took a peak at Rover.com at the recommendation of an animal loving friend. Read the profiles. How can you decide who to invite into your mother’s senior living residence to care for her cat for two weeks based on a brief description???? Prayed abt it for awhile and reached out to Clint and Leah. Texted them, believe we spoke on the phone before their initial “meet and greet visit.” (No charge btw). They are a delightful couple, involved in ministry to people and critters! They took on the challenge of caring for our somewhat grumpy cat Mittens. Besides their daily visits to feed and water our cat, the brought in the mail & newspaper, watered the plants, took them out for a sunbath on a warm day, then brought them in from the cold another, played with Mittens, brought my attention to some health concerns, emptied her litter box, swept floor, even brought Mittens her favorite treats, needed hair ball medicine, and a new toy! They visited daily, sending pics and notes abt their visits. When the contracted time was up, the made an extra visit (also non-paid) to return the keys. The peace of mind they gave me was a blessing! If anyone needs a pet sitter for their pet, please don’t be afraid to call on Clint and Leah. They are awesome caretakers. Took a risk on the unknown and Mittens won!”

About: I have experience in caring for senior and disabled dogs, especially blind ones. I have also reared and house trained two puppies to adulthood and are still with my family to this day. They can walk unleashed (I would never do this with a dog that is not mine!) and even know protective commands. I am currently homebound so you furbaby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby and would enjoy a companion to walk with. I always have leashes and body vest on the door at the ready for any potty breaks and walks, no fence no problem. Stairs and basements will be blocked off all times to ensure safety and rooms will always remain closed. For house guests, we have an end table crate to ensure visibility when I am just resting. There is a regular metal crate and a spare room dedicated to any overwhelmed doggy.

I have cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, horses, chickens, llamas, and a hedgehog. If owner was okay with it I took the dog to work with me or to a park to walk. About: I've taken care of pets almost my entire life, the majority that I have taken care of are cats and dogs. I always make sure they get what they need such as food, water, exercise, play time, and attention. I always make sure that I take care of and treat them the way I treat my own. I am currently gaining a bachelor's degree in animal health and behavior. So I do know what to expect when it comes to a different variety of animals and their behaviors. Your pets are in safe hands. Pet care is an important part of my daily routine, and I plan my schedule around each booking. I make sure pets receive consistent care, attention, and time, and I always follow their established routine to keep them comfortable. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I prioritize respecting their space and belongings. I only use items related to pet care and follow all household guidelines provided by the client. I always clean up after both myself and the pet, and I take pride in maintaining a clean, organized environment. Clients can feel confident knowing their home will be well cared for and left in excellent condition.

“I was so nervous to find a caregiver for our Zoey. The reason is Zoey is a 3 year old epileptic boxer. Even though her seizures are controlled I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to find someone to keep her overnight and be responsible for her medication. Then I found Jennifer on Rover. I set up a meet and greet and I just knew Jennifer was ready for the challenge. We set up an overnight stay while my husband and I had to be out of town. Jennifer sent so many pictures and updates.
