“Sherri & Lee, were SO GREAT with our Charlie Girl. She is old and uncertain of new environments. We did a couple of prior boarding afternoons. And an overnight so Charlie would know where she was and the new place. She did wonderfully for 2 weeks due to them caring for her attentively. I was at peace our entire trip to visit two sets of grandchildren knowing Charlie was in the BEST of hands. We will have her back with them in May for another week. My home is a fun loving home with a daily schedule and lots of love and fun. I am currently a part time worker and I only work 4 days a week for just a few hours during the day. I have experience taking care of other people's animals as well as taking care of family pets such as my sister's dog (beagle mix) and my parent's dogs (two Chesapeake bay retrievers and a rescue hound). About: My parents were pretty sure I was going to be a vet or work in a zoo! I ended doing something completely different but my love for animals is still there. I've spent a lot of time with canines, felines, rodents, reptiles, insects... and each one has been a pleasure! I believe that sharing our lives with pets makes us better people. I am very happy that mine chose me as their human. I usually work a typical 8-5 M-F but now that traveling is getting back to normal, I have heard there is need for short term home stay, overnights and just life, that happens. Happy to help over the weekends and whenever possible. We have an energetic Jack Russell and a calm but active Lab. They have totally different personalities but they complement each other. The best care is the one that allows pets to be themselves, teaching them boundaries and "manners" in a loving way. About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

I have cared for newborn puppies and moms with litters. I am organized and do well to adapt myself with new pets. I understand the importance of a well balanced diet and care giving for pets. I have everything needed to care for them. Including for an overnight stay. I have a pet room with kennels, bowls, toys and more in my house. The closed outside kennels also offer more space for bigger pets. It is air conditioned and heated as needed. Beds are available for each pet. The closed fenced deck is available to ensure safety. But also for fun play. I am home all day and care for other pets with a specific routine. I know each of their personalities through engagement. I am always excited to get to know new personalities and what makes them happy. I have a fenced yard and have any essentials needed for a smooth stay. I like to observe and make sure they are having a pleasant stay. It is important to me that my fur-visitor feels secure.

About: Hello all! My name is Lisanne and I go by Liz. I have two awesome fur babies of my own (currently living with their doggo dad in Va), and have had pets for pretty much all of my life, dogs, cats, rabbits, you name it I’ve probably cared for it. I have raised many animals from babes to adults as well. I really just love to give all pets the love and attention they deserve and understand life can get busy but that doesn’t mean we want our four legged family to feel loved any less. I do not currently board at this point in time, but will happily come to you to house sit. I will send you quality iPhone portrait photos of your fur babe and our adventures on request 🤗 My schedule has changed from student to working full time, but I always try to keep my Rover account active and work with the new fur babies when I can! My availability within the service description is accurate at this time, and we can discuss other needs should they arise. I will make sure all of your recommendations and precautions are very well followed. I always carry extra leashes and items that may be needed, and even if the yard is fenced in, will not leave animals unattended.
About: I’ve taken care all sorts of animals ever since I was a kid. I also showed goats in 4- H for ten years. I graduated high school in 2024 and during high school I volunteered many hours at the Clinton County Humane Society. In June of 2024 I started pet sitting for local families. Since then I have helped take care of many families furry friends including common house pets such as Dogs, Cats, and even Kinkajous! About: I am organized, clean, and trust worthy. I love all types of pets! I love dogs but do not have any. I have 2 cats of my own. I have experience with training pets at home. My dream job would be training a service or therapy animal. I have volunteered at the Indianapolis humane society I mostly worked with small dogs, young and old. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little but more specifically this year when I house sat with two dogs and a cat! I have had a golden retriever and a beagle throughout my childhood. I also dog sat a blue heeler. I love taking care of dogs and I would love to take care of yours! About: I grew up on a farm so I've always been around animals. At a very young age I started helping care for the animals which lead to me house sitting as well as walking them.
