About: Hello, my name is Maryna! I am a Registered Nurse who just moved back to the midwest after spending 2 years living in Utah. I have a 3 1/2 year old Harrier named Luna. I adopted her when she was 10 months old and have loved every moment with her. In our free time, we love to hike, camp, fish and kayak. I grew up with dogs, and have always had one in my life. I have plenty of experience with elderly pets, medication administration, etc. I’m looking forward to meeting your pet(s)! I would love to know about their temperament with other dogs, their activity level, etc. When they are in my care, they are treated like my own. I grew up with pets, so incorporating pet care into our daily routine has always been a part of my life. I enjoy taking my pup on walks, and she loves to play with other dogs! Our dog loves to run around outside, especially with her doggo friends. Luna loves to lay on her mat on our back porch and lay in the sun on warmer days, but also loves coming inside a cool home to cool down.

Walks- I do at least 15 minute walks, and up to 90 minute walks. About: I’ve always had a special connection with pets. I believe in giving my pets the best life I can give. I love to train animals with positive reinforcement, love, and plenty of patience. My dog and I spend a lot of time together, and she gets love from the whole family. She is my world and my best friend. I also have some small critters that all get along with her. I also have four rescue cats! They’re all loved and cuddled often. Many people call my place “the zoo” because I have such an affinity for animals. All my animals are socialized so that they feel comfortable with people and other animals. At the moment, I am between employment, so I am taking the time to spend with my animals at home! About: I've had dogs in the house since before I can remember, and as I got older I helped my dad train each of them. After caring for his personal dog for over a year in 2017, I found my own dog (Nola- a Golden) and trained her myself. She's now the perfect family dog, hiking partner, and home security system. My experience has led me to become a firm, fair, and consistent handler, making walks with me a calm and enjoyable treat for pups! I leave homes better than I found them and give lots of loves during drop-ins! I am trained in MWD/K9 first aid and resuscitation through the Army. I take my dog with me on long hikes with a backpack (rucks), my 2 mile run, or a slow walk at least once a week, as well as throwing the ball outside for her and/or walks around the block every day. I understand that energetic pups need a lot of exercise to avoid negative coping behaviors! My house is very pet friendly, we have two cats and my Golden Retriever, Nola. She is not allowed on furniture, but when humans get on the ground, it's super snuggle time! she gets brushed every few days and feeding times are a ritual instead of constant food being out. However, I know everyone cares for their pets differently so when I visit someone's home, I never turn down a pup in my lap for kisses and I'm comfortable giving medicines or special treatments/attention to animals who need it.

About: I've cared for dogs since middle school for neighbors friends and family. I have experience with energetic breeds such as Siberian Huskies and stubborn breeds such as chow chows. About: I’ve been a huge animal lover since I was a child. I absolutely love my fur baby she is my entire world. I don’t have kids so she is literally my baby. I make sure anytime I’m dog sitting all the fur babies are loved, cuddled and cared for. All my friends and family always call me to walk their pets ,for feeding, potty breaks and overnight stays. I currently work a full time 40 hour job at a psychiatric center here in south bend but I’m free most weekends starting Friday after 6:30pm all the way to Sunday! I do have plenty of time to take off work if I need to cover an emergency during the week, I am more than willing to do that I will mostly be sitting at clients homes, but if I dog sit at my home I do have a big yard but dogs will always be leashed for potty breaks because the yard is not fenced and I’d rather be safe than sorry, also if your dog needs a crate I do have a medium sized one from when my baby was spayed. I have AC and lots of comfy doggy beds and spots for dog to lay. I have a cute yorkie who is very playful, but also keeps to herself.

Margot loved her four night stay at her house. she was able to play with the dogs in her care during the day and she was extremely patient with her when she was whining at night in the beginning. I was worried that my six month doodle was going to come back matted after having five days without being brushed. I didn’t need to worry. Lindsay kept on top of the brushing (without being asked to do so). If we ever need a dog sitter in the South Bend area, we will jump at the opportunity to use Lindsay’s services again!”

I was a little concerned at first, not sure if she could handle my 10 month old German Shepherd, Jream, but overall, she did very well even without having a fenced yard. My girls still got a full hour of playtime in a nearby fenced area where they were able to run and play ball freely. Meredith followed all my instructions, and I would definitely use her again.”
About: I've grown up living with dogs and have been the primary trainer for my family's dogs. I do pretty well working with new pets and can handle full size dogs. I'm an engineer who gets home from work around 4 or 5PM. My weekends are empty 3/4 weekends a month. I can do overnights on Sunday and during the work week if your dog is used to being alone 9-5. I have a small yard, and live next to the beach. I typically walk my dog to the beach 2-3 times a day on the weekend and she swims often. I usually use a harness to walk dogs, never leave them unattended outside since I have no fence. Make sure they have food twice a day and water always full.
