I currently work part time at a horse boarding facility and previously worked for several years as a kennel techician. I also once majored in biological sciences pre veterinary, so I have a lot of prior animal knowledge. My highschool was also a career tech school for animals. About: I grew up with 3 large breed dogs and have done 2 years of dog walking / pet sitting! During my 2 years of pet sitting, I took care of puppies from 6 weeks old to senior dogs. Things that fell under the description of ‘took care of’ are; picking up poop, feeding / following dietary schedules, administering medications, walks, play time, bathroom breaks, training work, mental stimulation (snuffle mats, kongs, etc.) I do daily dog walks, and am helping my parents raise and train a German shepherd! I also have 2 cats of my own at home. I will travel to your home by car! I do not offer care for your pets in my home due to my cats not being very sociable haha!!

About: I have owned and helped take care of my family’s animals since I was around 6 years old. I am a dog mom to a 4 year old golden retriever and she is my world. I would love to do anything that I can to help you and take care of your pet while you are away or just need an extra hand. I can go on walks with them, play with them, feed them, and keep them safe! I can also help bathe them and keep them groomed by brushing them. I am a photographer so I have relatively open availability. If you’re interested in hiring me, please let me know and we can talk about your pet and your expectations for me as a sitter. Looking forward to talking with you and meeting with your pets!! My dog is my entire world so I know exactly how anyone who trusts their pet with anyone else feels. There is so much love and support coming from my side of taking care of them. I talk to them like they are people and give them reassurance when it rains or when they miss you. For stop ins, it’s super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.
