“If I could give 10 stars I would. We had a wedding to go to in Hawaii, and the family members who would normally watch our pets for us were going too. I was worried about leaving my 2 dogs and cat for 2 weeks, especially with the 6 hour time difference and being so far from home. I wasn't so much worried about the dogs, but my cat is almost 18 years old. After the meet and greet with Kristen all my fears were put to rest. You can tell she has experience with pet sitting and that she truly cares about your pets. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my pets were in safe hands. My cat is relatively healthy for his age, but is on a couple of medications, and Kristen was able to give him his meds while he stayed with her. She regularly sent me pictures of my pets, with up-dates on how they were doing, and I could see that they were having a great time. The dogs loved lounging in her sunroom and spending time in her fenced in back yard. And my cat had a big cat condo that he loved napping on. I could not be more pleased with this booking, and I would trust Kristen again in a heartbeat to watch my pets. Highly recommend!”

“Alexis was amazing & I will absolutely be using again! She did 1 hour drop-in visits for my 2 kitties for 8 days & went above & beyond my expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. Since Max has been going to Alexis he absolutely loves it, he had friends to play with and she makes sure they get plenty of play time and sends me updates throughout the day. At first Max would try to leave when I left after dropping him off, now he doesn't care about me when I drop him off. When I come to pick him up he is excited to see me but doesn't want to leave his friends. In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

This is exactly how to meet an anxious dog! And our Portia responded by walking right up to Deanna and sniffing her. Portia walked with Rick this walkie. But Portia did walk between Deanna and him. I have not completed any sits through Rover yet, but have been a pet sitter with TrustedHousesitters since 2018 and MindMyHouse since 2022. About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for caring for pets. I've spent my whole life around animals and currently share my home with four wonderful cats and one happy dog. Growing up with pets taught me how to understand their needs, respect their boundaries, and provide the love and attention they deserve. I’m currently working full-time Tuesday-Friday 8a-6p so, unfortunately, I don’t have availability throughout the weekdays. On the weekends/Monday’s, I’m available morning, afternoon, evening and night! I will always create a comfortable and loving environment for you pets when coming into your home. I’m unable to allow cats/dogs into my own home at the time!

I’m looking to make this a career path and I’m trying to earn more than happiness from Rover. My apartment has a private entrance and I have parks and trails to take them near me that are secure. About: I work at Petsmart as a Dog bather. I love dogs. During High school I did an internship at a vet clinic amd learned lots about medicine and how to do CPR. I've had lots of cats growing up and rescued them. I'm currently working at Petsmart been there since July 25'. I'm usually off Thursday's and Sunday's so I will always be here to help your pet. I can always give medication, pills or oral. I've taken care of sick animals during my time at my internship. I have lots of experience on older dogs and cats including the younger ones. I can bottle feed and take care of the young ones
