About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.
About: I'm willing to go above and beyond to make sure your pet is being taken care of my someone who is going to treat them like they are their own. Right now I'm more then willing to work with any schedule that helps benefit us both. I'm willing to make a drive if that's what's needed. I treat the pet and the owners stuff as if it's everything. About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.

About: every sitter loves animals, but I really do adore animals and I love being able to just enjoy and meet new animals. My special skills with animals is to cuddle!
