About: I have been working at Zionsville Animal Hospital as a vet assistant since October ‘24. Before that I was working in the doggy daycare industry. I have always had love and experience with animals, my own and clients animals. I have pet sat for clients of the hospital and am able to medicate and give injections (insulin, B12, etc.) and whatever else you may need! I currently work full time at ZAH. About: As a life long dog lover I volunteered at a vet clinic for six months and I worked as a kennel attendant at a shelter for well over 5 years. I administered medication, gave shots, exercised and trained all breeds and types, bathed all types, and kept their kennels clean and the dogs twice fed twice daily. I have worked with puppies and seniors, lap dogs and mastiffs. Meeting new dog friends every day was the highlight of my job! I provide daily care, hourly check ins, long walks, bathing/grooming services, or I’m potentially open to overnight stays depending on the client. I provide excellent and safe care for all animals. Depending on the animals needs and behavior I am able to bring them to parks, trails, back yards, or pet stores for play and enrichment! Animals will be kept on their leashes when in public at all times and kept from a safe distance from other animals that may be around! All fences will be checked for damage before animals are let loose to play! In the home all food will be placed in high areas that are up and away from the animals reach. Sharp objects that could causes harm are also placed away!
About: Hello! I'm Carly. I've had dogs since I was a little girl and started to own cats in my college years. As time has gone on, I have adopted and purchased different pets and currently have three dogs, a wiener dog, English setter and Great-dane/mastiff/Corso. I also have four cats ranging in ages from kitten to old man :) All of my pets are extremely friendly and get along well with other animals! *** Care in Pet Palace *** I'm currently working from home, so your pets and I will spend all day long together! We will start our mornings with a morning potty break and some play time. My dogs love to roam the yard and play with one another with a little fetch every morning. If you prefer your dog has a breakfast in the morning I will serve this after some relaxing time in the mornings. We will take potty and play time breaks all day. I do have children, age 8 and up, who will be sure to give your pets love and attention and additional playtime all day long! Your pet will truly fit right in with us and feel apart of the family from day one! *** Care in your home *** Care in your home will occur to any standard and requests you set! Typically this will include myself coming to your home in the morning for a potty break and play time. I can also remain in the home for a period of time for love and snuggles if desired! I will come to the home as often as desired and provide meal during times requested! Please note I do not stay in your home overnight! *** Pet Palace *** When in my home, your pet will have the same access my pets do to the areas unless otherwise specified and agreed upon. Dogs have access to the entire first floor of our home and are able to lay on our furniture. Cats also have the same access as well as access to the second floor of our home, allowing them to relax in a quiet space away from puppy play! If I should need to leave the home, I do have a fenced in 8 foot tall dog run which includes a grassy area and a covered section on concrete where dog houses are for additional shelter. If the weather is not appropriate for the dogs to remain outside or you prefer they are contained indoors, a crate can be set up inside our sun room as well. *** In your home pet care *** If pet care is desired in your home instead, I will follow any instructions you may leave to care for your pet the way you desire so ensure they feel comfortable in their own home and to ensure you feel comfortable with the security of your home while you are away!
About: Hi, I say 15 years of pet care experience but I have always had an animal or reptile in the house. Through the years/growing up my family has had a lab, dachshunds, and a lab/pit mix, all ranging from puppy to adult. I also have experience dog sitting for multiple coworkers while they are out of town, so my schedule is flexible as far as weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I absolutely love dogs and am willing to do what it takes to care for them. If they were to come to stay with me there would be a DIY fenced in area to play. Recently got a pup of my own so all must be open to her. She is a full blooded basset who loves to play sleep and cuddle. She loves people and others animals! Just wants someone to play and chase! I’m working full time which is 4 10 hr shifts. Typically no weekends. As long as they can manage to be cooped up that long im very flexible. I can do in home stays which is currently what I’ve been doing. If not they are welcome in my home. Can work with holidays and other needs Walking playing and special needs that may need to be provided. Cleaning up when necessary. Making sure they too feel comfortable with myself and dog of my own. About: I have my own dog. I've grown up with dogs. I worked at a pet store when I was a teenager, and have house/pet sat before. Although, I'm not a vet, I'm observant and will keep an eye out for issues that concern you. Pet health is important. That includes nutrition and grooming. I know some think there is such a thing as over involved pet parents, I think they're family and should be treated as such. I volunteer at my church every Thursday, Backpack Program fifth Wednesdays (when they occur) and Orphan Grain Train every other month on the third Thursday. Otherwise, I take care of my dad who has COPD. I have to be home to cook for him. And take care of my own dog. Eventually, I will allow dogs to stay with me overnight, but I want to make sure my dog and said dogs get along. So that is my availability. I have a pitbull mix. She is very good around other dogs. Especially after she gets to know them. She's not aggressive, just tends to hump when excited. All dogs will need a leash if they are coming with me. I have walking trails in my community. I have no problem walking your dogs in them. Please make sure they have up to date tick meds. Also I live with my dad he will be petting and loving any pet that spends the night. My house is two story, so if you have a senior dog that needs help just let me know.
