I myself have grown up with dogs my whole life and would pet sit my neighbors animals all the time. Now, I have my own little zoo of 2 dogs, 3 cats, and some geckos. I spent one year in a vet tech program so i know the basics of animal medicine, 6 months taking care of the marine mammals at Shedd Aquarium, and I also have a bachelor's degree in Zoology. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. Having pets and growing up around all sorts of animals has encouraged me to expand my knowledge and kindness to help other’s when it some to taking care of their pets. I’m comfortable around all dogs and cats. When I take care of pets I dedicate my time to care for all of them and their needs. My schedule does change a lot when I go ba k to school or during the summer time as well I at the moment I have part-time availability and can house sit and walk dogs. I will also take last minute bookings on the weekdays, and cancellations. I also travel quite a lot so i apologize in advance for my opening. When it comes to taking care of dogs and other animals, I make sure to take them out on the leash and try to get in at least two walks everyday, as well play with them so they’ll sleep well later on.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, currently have an Australian shepherd named Birdie who i love with all my heart. I know how important it is for dogs to be able to get that energy out with a nice walk. Im available basically whenever just need a days notice. I typically prefer mornings most days. About: I've been taking care of dogs almost all my life. I've had so many different breeds in my lifetime. I love all kinds of animals but definitely have to say dogs are my favorite! About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs. When I get clients I make sure to ask them about their dogs routine, so I can do my best to mimic that.
