My pups struggled with some separation anxiety since they’re not used to being away from home (I’m with them constantly as a stay-at-home mom), which led to a few accidents despite Sarah letting them out regularly. That’s on my dogs still adjusting to a new environment, not on her care at all. She stayed patient through it, kept me in the loop the whole time, sent pics regularly, and never made me feel like a burden for checking in. About: I own a King Charles Cavalier and a German Shepherd currently! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana with multiple foster and adopted animals! My mother instilled a serious love and adoration for people and their favorite pets. I volunteered at our local animal shelter, was trained in multiple animal science courses, and was taught to love and respect the animals I work with, both domesticated and exotic. I have handled dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, farm livestock, petting zoo animals, and more. When we return home, we have some free time with toys and puzzles, enjoy another good meal, take another long, walk around the neighborhood, and then cuddle on the couch or in the beds until bedtime. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. “"Perfect" is the one word I would use for my doggie daycare interaction with Catherine! This was Maves first anything without one of use being with her. She is a highly active 7 month old puppy. Catherine was so great with her. I really felt my pupper was safe and being well taken care of. Updates of photos and text during the day and answered immediately when I wanted an additional update. Then when we got there for her second day, Mave was SUPER excited to be there again! That is when I knew this was the “Perfect” place for her to stay on daytrips or any other time I need. About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

The dogs struggled in the hotel and we were told that they could not stay alone as they cried and whined while we were away. My dogs sleep in my room, I feed them first thing in the morning, take them out for a morning stroll and bathroom time, walk them in the afternoon, and feed and take them out at night before bed. About: I have been taking care of all sorts of animal companions for 20 years! I worked on a Farmed Animal sanctuary and took care of chickens, goats, turkeys, cows, and pigs. I have had cats and dogs my whole life and specialize in both senior care and puppies. I’m great at training pups and love to be active. If your dog needs a good hike, I’m your guy! I’m currently working the early morning shift and have plenty of time after work to care for your babies. I also have weekends off so go on that day trip you always wanted to and leave it to me. My dogs are my children. I take them hiking, swimming, walking, and/or to the dog park at least once a day. I’m just starting out as a personal trainer so if your dog needs a jog around the block I can do that.

About: As a pet owner myself I know that our pets are our babies. (Lord knows I treat mine like my baby). I work from home so someone is always with your fur baby. We live about 5 minutes from Switchyard Park and like to walk the trail. Our apartment complex has a small dog park and a trail that is about half a mile long that we go on all the time. My dog is part husky so I know the importance of keeping dogs busy. We have multiple puzzles and toys ready to go. I’m very type A when it comes to my dog so you can expect the same with your pet. I’ll over communicate with you, send you photos daily, and let you know how your pup is adjusting. Safety and communication are always number one. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and baby sat for other dogs. My dog has some medical issues (a bad knee) so I’m no stranger to medication and keeping an eye out on existing injuries. If you want to meet up or see the environment your dog will be staying before hand, feel free to reach out to me! Since I work from home we take a lot of short walks through the day and I set up puzzles for them to play inside in case it’s too hot. I want to keep your dogs schedule as much as possible. A new environment for them can be stressful and if I can help ease some of that with following their schedule, I’m happy to do it! Your dog will have free range of our apartment. They’re allowed on all furniture and we have multiple dog beds in case they want their space. We have 2 crates in the house in case the dogs need to be crated and we will never have more than 2 dogs in the apartment (yours and mine only). We have a small dog park across the street of our apartment that will only be used if no other dogs are already there. Of course I will ask your preference if you’re comfortable with them going there or only walks.
