Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

About: Both my wife and I have had pets since we were little. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and love spending time with them all. I work from home Monday-Friday, and my wife works from home only 3 days a week, allowing a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and play time. We are also home most of the time on weekends. We have a comfortable, fenced in backyard and a cage for inside if needed. We have 2 friendly dogs that have been around plenty of other dogs with no issues, and always love the extra company. Our 2 cats also get along well with dogs, and have always been around them.

About: Hi! I’m Alicia. I’m a second grade teacher and lifelong Fort Wayne resident. I’ve had pets my entire life, but currently have none of my own, so I’m looking forward to babying yours while you’re away! I am very flexible during the summer, school holiday breaks & weekends, but I also continue Rover services during the school week as well. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, so I’m grateful for the opportunity to offer them a quiet, kid-free, pet-free, low-stress environment to settle into while you’re away. I’m extremely reliable, caring, and patient. Whether your pet needs medication, a consistent routine, or extra time to warm up to someone, I’m happy to adjust to whatever works best for them (and for you). Whether I’m with them for a drop-in or overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Plus, I love to take pictures and document our adventures, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you’re away. Feel free to reach out to set up a time to chat or schedule a meet and greet! As a teacher, my summers are especially flexible for drop-ins, daycare, and overnight stays. When school starts (August-May), I’m limited to before and after school drop-ins, but always open to schedule overnight stays at your house or mine especially on weekends or holidays! At my house, your pets will be the only pets in the home, so they’ll get all of the attention they deserve! My house is pet-proofed and I’m very committed to ensuring your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.
About: Since I was a child I have been around dogs and cats. They are always part of the family not just a pet. All pets will be treated like they are my own and I will give them love and attention. I currently have 3 small dogs that I have raised since puppies. I also have experience with walking and sitting large dogs for family. Whether they are puppies/kittens or senior cats/dogs I will take care of them and treat them with love and care. My days are usually split up between myself and my wife taking care of our dogs. We keep them on a schedule with feedings and trying to take them out as much as possible. I am always willing to walk dogs and keep any routine or schedule needed for them. Taking care of dogs is a daily routine for me. I have 3 dachshund that I split time with my wife taking care of them. We love to take them outside and either play with them or go for walks. They are like children to us and will always see them that way. Keeping up feeding schedules and potty time is always a must to keep them full and happy.
About: I have been involved in several volunteer groups for pets and rescue organizations. I’m sure I could help your peace of mind when you need. I’m currently working for Rover full time. I’m looking to make this a career path and I’m trying to earn more than happiness from Rover. My apartment has a private entrance and I have parks and trails to take them near me that are secure. I have multiple options for boarding.
About: Through my experience in 4-H dog obedience school, I have learned how to effectively teach skills such as sitting, staying, coming, and heeling. I also understand how to use proper vocal tones to help dogs learn more efficiently. I have extensive experience caring for dogs both in their own homes and within my own. My daily routine is very flexible, allowing me to provide dedicated care for your dogs in my home or to perform drop-in visits throughout the day to suit your schedule. For visits at my home, I have a partially fenced yard, so I always use a leash for walks within the yard and throughout my safe, friendly neighborhood. My children also love dogs and will likely be around to provide plenty of attention during in-home stays. If I am visiting your home, I can let your pet out into your yard or take them for walks nearby. Please be assured that whenever we are outside of a secured area, your dog will always be leashed. I understand that your dog is a member of your family, and I am committed to providing them with the same love and care I give my own children.
