About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. As of August 2026, I finished nursing school and will be doing Rover full-time until I take my NCLEX test to officially become a licensed nurse! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! I am responsible for 3 tortoises, 8 snakes, a few rats, a handful of leopard geckos, freshwater fish tanks, chameleons, dogs, a cat and let’s not forget my two babies. Keeping pets is my hobby and I’m passing this along to my young ones. Gone all day and have a new puppy that needs more attention. I’ve been there and can offer walks with BASIC obedience. My dogs have all received their good citizen award from attending training classes. Let’s chat!
About: I’ve taken care of family/friends dogs and cats. I’ve been a pet owner for 8+ years so I know how much animals mean to us! I’m saving up to pay for my studies and I currently work part time so the rest of my time can go to caring for your pet. I’m available from 8am-9pm weekdays! I have a fenced yard and a Shih Tzu who loves others pets and will keep your furry loved one company. We go on daily walks.
About: I have always cared for my friends animals when they are traveling and I also have had my cat Nola for 5 years. I’m also familiar with animals having anxiety and how to care for them by creating a routine that’s safe and fun. I have an open schedule currently so I’m open to flexibility during the day and some afternoons. I’m on break from my Masters program so my time is pretty open. I would make sure that any special needs your sweet baby needs is taken care of with extreme amount of love and care. I understand how important it is to be gentle especially when meeting new pets who might have anxiety.
About: I’ve cared for animals for many years and have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable providing everything from walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention to bathing, brushing, and basic grooming when needed. I also enjoy working with puppies and helping reinforce potty training, routines, and good habits. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. Whether your pet loves being active and playing, going on walks, or simply cuddling and relaxing, I’m happy to adjust their care to what makes them happiest. I treat every pet in my care with the same patience, attention, and love that I give my own pets. I’m available as needed for any pet sitting. If you have a specific schedule that is needed, I’m more than willing to abide by it. I currently have dogs in my own home and have had a cat. I have picked up some of my clients animals from their home to watch them at my house, as well as going to their house and caring for them in the comfort of their own home. I love going on walks and cuddling with all pets.

“We've boarded 4Xs with Amanda and can't say enough good things: amazing family environment, responsive to messages, dependable. This last time we left our 2yo German Shepherd and 7 month old puppy with Amanda for 2.5 weeks. It was a long time for us, but both dogs were healthy and happy. Unfortunately my puppy isn't 100% housebroken yet but he and his crate/bedding were clean and well taken care of. I could tell they had plenty of exercise and good stimulation. Already going to book her for a fifth time.”

My only note is that my senior dog probably would have done better being boarded overnight at a home with fewer overnight guests. She seemed extra tired after the long Easter weekend. But it's not a criticism, it's more a note that may help other boarders decide if that's what's best for their dogs.”
