“Absolutely the best choice we could have made! I was nervous about her being around dogs cause I had never seen her with them but she had her own private area. She got lots of attention and wasn't left alone all day by herself. First time using Rover and I won't use anything else or any other sitter either. Thanks Carrie! You were incredibly accommodating and very sweet.”

“Wow, what an incredible family! I believe we hit the jackpot by connecting with these amazing dog sitters. It is obvious how much they love animals. Our miniature poodle, Leo, was treated like royalty at their beautiful home. And it was so wonderful to see how excited their young daughters were to spend the day with Leo. We even sent a request last minute and needed them to watch him longer than planned, and they were so accommodating and kind. It was truly an amazing experience!”

“Absolutely amazing! Lynelleaq took wonderful care of my dog, Jax, for six days while I was on vacation. I received daily photos and updates, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing he was happy and well cared for. Her communication was outstanding. She kept me informed about everything, and during a tornado warning she even texted to let me know they were safely sheltering in the basement. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant so much to me. When I picked Jax up, he was happy, healthy, and clearly loved. I would not hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable sitter!”

“We’ve used Emily many times for overnight dog stays for our 2 golden retrievers and always feel comfortable and reassured that our dogs get the best care possible while we are away on trips! She always sends photos and updates and our dogs love the fenced-in backyard where they can run all their energy out. Always will recommend!”

His love for animals shows in how well he takes care of them; my anxious girl LOVES Jason and knows she’s going to have a fun day every time she sees him. He’s a great communicator, and will always act in the best interest of your pet. Not to mention, I’ve gotten some of the best quality photos of my pretty girl from Jason!”

“Brittany was super nice and took very good care of Dobby for us while we were away. She sent us pics to keep us updated on how he was doing. He was happy to see us when we picked him up, but also tried to go back in with her when we left to go home so I'd say that speaks for itself.”

“This was our dogs' first stay with anyone new. They were both anxious & kept peeing & pooping in Surama's home because of it, even though she was taking them out very often. Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. She also sent pictures of them playing with her family & other dogs, which my daughter especially appreciated. Surama was so kind & we will definitely use her in the future.😊👍”

“Alex did a wonderful job with taking care of my 3 dogs for 2.5 days. The 2 small poodles (mix) ones were good as usual, my youngest and most tentative, larger American Staffordshire mix take a little warming up to. After a few 4 visits, Alex broke this ice her.”

And I have uploaded a copy of my PetCare Insurance in my photos that covers potential incidents in your home, my home and in the park. I’ve given medication’s. I will follow your instructions to the letter and I don’t have an opinion. I have a lot of free time while I’m working on a book and don’t really need the money. I just would love the experience. I think the most important part is safety. PetCare Insurance for the unforeseen, but vigilance eliminates a lot of that. Pets are often curious and you need to make sure they’re not getting into harms way. When I take your dog for a walk, I won’t be on my phone because you need to be on the lookout for potential danger. I can take your dog to the park, around the neighborhood, for a drive or just stand in the yard. It’s all up to you. I will follow your instructions without opinion.
“Jo and Jess are great dog sitters! They watched my small dog, Coconut, for one day of daycare and I plan on utilizing their services again. I would definitely recommend Jo and Jess!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve loved being around and tending to animals since I was a little girl. I had dogs and cats my whole life (except for right now) and have loved learning to meet their needs! I am a part-time social worker at a local non-profit organization. I am also beginning online grad school to become a therapist. With both of these commitments, I primarily work from home. My weeks are pretty flexible! I live in a home with a fenced backyard and room for pets to play and be active! I currently have no permanent pets here. I am eager to travel to homes to provide company, activity, and care to pets!
About: Ever since I was a little girl we have always had a dog in the house so, when I turned 18 I adopted one of my own but after 16 1/2 years of loving her, I had to say good bye. Thus, sparked my motivation to help others care for and love their pet(s) when they’re in need. I have experience with puppys, potty training, leash & clicker training among other things! I love to execute play time and know the importance of expending energy. The dogs I have trained are very well mannered and learn to behave well around people and other pets & listen to commands. My friends rely on me often to dog-sit and I’ll often care for & hang out with their pets while they’re at work or out of town. I have experience administering medicine and taking care of them when they’re sick or recovering from surgery as well. I work from home and this leaves me with plenty of time to take care of your pet and expend their energy with play time and walks. Please let me know if there are any commands or tricks you are working on so that I can do the same. I am available for boarding and house-sitting during the week and during weekends. I do not currently have any pets so my attention will be focused on yours solely! Living so close to Sloans lake and various dog parks means that your pup(s) are getting great exercise and outdoor time (unless it’s too hot or cold for them). When it is too warm to be outside for too long I am making sure your pet(s) are staying hydrated and we stay active inside playing fetch, tug, and other fun games!

Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.
About: I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs, there’s never been a time we didn’t have at least two. Since I was 10, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and over the years, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs like my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’m especially comfortable caring for older or sick dogs, including giving oral medications and providing gentle, patient support when they need it most. I know how much your dog means to you—because I feel the same way about mine. I’m a student at Purdue University studying food science. However, I have a flexible schedule and lots of free time. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m here to give your dog the love and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During drop-in visits or walks, I make sure your dog feels secure, happy, and well cared for in their own familiar space. I follow any instructions you provide closely whether that’s feeding, medications, or routines so your dog stays comfortable and stress-free. I also send photo updates so you can see how your baby is doing while you’re away!
About: I’ve worked in vet med for 5 years now and I’m a third-year veterinary student. This makes me well prepared to spot and respond to any emergencies your baby may have! I have a cat named Horton and a dog named Reno that crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago </3 I’m currently in the area on a veterinary externship (what I do when I’m not taking classes), so I have time in the early morning and evenings to care for somebody’s babies that may need it. I care for the babies by making sure they’re fed and feeling well when I see them. I will also just sit and watch from a distance if they’re the kind that don’t prefer a human’s company. Also, I pet them and tell them just how beautiful they are every 10 minutes in the midst of me taking hundreds of pics for the client.
“Really good! My dog stayed with Jessica and her family for 3 weeks, in which there were no problems at all and my dog had a lot of fun. She gave updates and contacted me about any decisions that they were going to make regarding my dogs care. Definitely will be contacting her again if I need to go away again.”

“Samantha was great! She picked up & dropped off my dog, kept me updated throughout the stay, and even reached out to ask how to comfort him when he was crying. I really appreciated how caring and attentive she was. I'd definitely recommend her”
