“Theo's stay with Ann was as good as can be. This was Theo's first time spending time with a person he did not know. We did a meet and greet with Ann prior to boarding Theo and our meeting went well. The day we left Theo with Ann after we left she texted us about 10-15 minutes saying Theo was alrady on her lap. We recieved a text the next day with a picture of Theo laying on a cuddly blanket and stating he had slept all thrrough the night and was a very good boy. We will definately utilize again in the future.”

About: I began professionally caring for animals 10 years ago when I got a job at PetSmart as a Pet Care associate! From there, I became a kennel technician at one of the top rated veterinary clinics in Cincinnati, Animal Care Center, and after a year of working there as a kennel technician they trained me to be a veterinary technician. I then had my first son and stayed home with him and had a farm with pigs, chickens, and all kinds of wonderful animals! When I decided to rejoin the work force, of course I went back to what I love most, caring for animals. I worked at two different kennels full time and helped manage one of them. I have a small chihuahua myself who is very friendly with all other pets. Since I do have children, any pets staying at my home must be child friendly. I’m always available whenever you need me. In 2020, I adopted him from a humane society and was so excited, I forgot to ask about his story. However, I feel like I learn about him in different ways. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. Currently I’m unemployed due to having brain surgery at the end of 24’ and then the follow up treatments taking most of 25’. So I have lotsa time, attention, and love to give your pet(s). I have a park walking distance from my house that I can take dogs to run around and use the bathroom and I live in a good area for walks. I am well versed on typical dog etiquette in public around other people and animals. I have experience with all types of dogs large and small. I’m a big guy and can handle the larger breeds pretty well usually, but also caring for the little ones as well. I always prioritize the pet(s) health and safety first, and then having some fun second :). I would love to provide a safe and relaxing spot for your pet(s). Also FYI - for boardings if pickup on the last day is after noon I will ask for a day fee of $35. I’m currently unemployed due to brain surgery I had this time last year to remove a large cancerous tumor. Luckily I recovered beautifully and quickly and am still fully functional, minus a little extra forgetfulness but nothing bad at all.
