About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always been told I have a “way with animals.” I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs before. About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. If you have puppies I can absolutely help with potty and also crate training if they aren't crate trained yet.
About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

My dog is my entire world so I know exactly how anyone who trusts their pet with anyone else feels. There is so much love and support coming from my side of taking care of them. I talk to them like they are people and give them reassurance when it rains or when they miss you. For stop ins, it’s super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.

About: I've had a house full of pets since I was born. We always had at least 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 turtles, and other pets in the house. Chance was my main pet (pitbull) who I personally trained and took care of from the age of 10 until I left for college. I now have a chihuahua named Taako and a fluffy cat named Magnus that I take care of. I've also helped watch cats and dogs of family and friends. About: I love dogs and walked the same two dogs for a year. I brush them if needed and feed them if needed also. Always keep them hydrated and check on them before I leave them alone and make sure they are content. I have a lot of free time on my hands normally allowing me to work with animals for a certain amount of days a week. I clean up after their messes, make sure they are feed and have air to keep them cool. My dog hangs out with me the most everyday because i take good care of her and let her out a bunch.
