“This was our dogs' first stay with anyone new. They were both anxious & kept peeing & pooping in Surama's home because of it, even though she was taking them out very often. Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. I will follow your instructions to the letter and I don’t have an opinion. I have a lot of free time while I’m working on a book and don’t really need the money. I just would love the experience. I think the most important part is safety. PetCare Insurance for the unforeseen, but vigilance eliminates a lot of that. Pets are often curious and you need to make sure they’re not getting into harms way. When I take your dog for a walk, I won’t be on my phone because you need to be on the lookout for potential danger. I can take your dog to the park, around the neighborhood, for a drive or just stand in the yard. It’s all up to you. I will follow your instructions without opinion.

About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. The biggest skills I have are being able to spend extra time with the animals to make them feel loved while you are away. I am currently working part-time and attending school part-time during the summer. I am very available to take care of your animals during the morning, day, and evening. I like to spend between 15 and 30 minutes with the animals between visits to make them feel loved, so they are less stressed. I make sure they are well fed and exercised daily and are enjoying their time while you are away.

Surama was very patient with them & made their stay a good one regardless. We didn't anticipate this issue & felt terrible about her having to deal with cleaning so many messes. I appreciated that she was open & honest about what was happening, while assuring me it was fine & in no way causing us to feel worse about it. About: I have had animals all of my life and have cared for them immensely. My family and friends say I have a special way with animals. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for almost 2 years and got lots of experience caring for dogs there as well as opportunities to sit outside of it which has become a huge part of my life. I have knowledge and experience on all sorts of problems that may arise in both cats and dogs including cpr. I am currently a full-time purdue student who takes most classes online so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby! I love going on walks so you can guarantee your fur baby will get some long peaceful and smellful walks! So far I have done both in-home and in my home. I make sure to have a specific wake up sleep schedule so my animals and the ones I have watched have a routine and care. As I mentioned before I love walks… so walks are guaranteed! In the clients home I make sure to provide the same level of care and attention to the pet as I would my own or in my own home!

About: I have taken care of my parents senior dog in my home while they were out of town. Helped a former coworker with her dog, also in my home, while she was out of town. I have helped a friend of mine with their senior dog + 4 cats in their home as drop in visits while they were out of town. Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.
About: I have taken care of all ages of animals and all sizes. I have cared for diabetic pets, blind pets, and medicated pets. I am ready to take care of anything! I do not currently have a job, so I am willing to work whenever and wherever! If this ever changes I will make sure to change my availability etc! I try to make sure I know where the pet is at all times, or what the pet is doing. The last thing I want is to lose sight of an animal and put them in danger!
