“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. My pups struggled with some separation anxiety since they’re not used to being away from home (I’m with them constantly as a stay-at-home mom), which led to a few accidents despite Sarah letting them out regularly. That’s on my dogs still adjusting to a new environment, not on her care at all. She stayed patient through it, kept me in the loop the whole time, sent pics regularly, and never made me feel like a burden for checking in. Gonna do some anxiety prep with my doggos, but I’d happily book with Sarah again if she’d have us. I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I’ve grown up around pets my whole life and have been taking care of my own pets for 11 years now. My family have relied on me to take care of their dogs while on vacation. I always feed and water my pets in the morning and let my dog outside in our fence in yard to use the bathroom. Then when I get home from work I make sure my pets have water, will fed my dog again, and take him outside to use the bathroom. I try to take my dog on a daily walk every evening. About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. I’ve always had animals in my household. Neighbors, family, and friends have always trusted me to watch their furry friends while they were away. I work part time at a school from august to may. I have plenty of time every day at home to watch and play with your animals. I have a large fenced in yard for my dogs at home. I live with parents so my dogs have multiple people to let them out and play when needed. In clients homes I let them out often and I am able to walk them and play with them frequently.

About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. We used to bread great danes so I can work well with puppies. :) I currently work part time, I work most mornings till about 10am and am free after that. I can watch animals on weekend afternoons or evenings. I would like a set schedule with someone if that works out. I have a big back yard and a very loving great dane to keep company. I also have a pin for my dog if for some reason they don't get along. Also a cat poll in my house for those who need cats watched.

About: Over 7 years experience caring for all different kinds of animals in all capacities! I know how to administer medication, orally or injection, and wouldn’t mind doing so. I received my trainers certification from Catch Trainers Academy in 2024 and am well versed in dogs language and behavior. I’m also pet CPR/first aid certified through the Red Cross. I’m a full time pet sitter & dog trainer so I’m able to have an extremely accommodating schedule because of this. This allows me to be there for pet parents when needed! **House sitting is for the hours of 5pm-8am - price reflects 6 hours of care | please reach out if you have different needs** I believe in patiently caring for every animal, as every animal is different and special in their own way. Your animal will be loved on and given plenty of cuddles and treats. I’m willing to walk them wherever is convenient. If your dog just wants to chill (it’s like that sometimes) we can hang out. I can properly and gently re-crate any dogs and, if needed, put up any cats.

I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband.
