The last few years since becoming a remote worker, I have been pet sitting in clients homes administering simple meds and taking general care of their cats and dogs (often both). Edited: if Rover is not showing your total before booking, let me know and I will send you the total amount! My rates are 38/dog and 27/cat. If my rates are showing differently, it is because rover tags on an extra 20-30%, which is the percent they take from you. This is on top of the 20% they keep from the amount that I collect at the end of my stay. Full transparency is key. If a discount is needed, please send the request and we can work something out!

Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs ever since I can remember. We had a few dogs when I was a small child, but the one we had the longest (from 2 months old till the end of her life at 13 years) was a super sweet & intelligent Chocolate Lab whom we called Angel. Her and I grew up together. I would take her on walks and play with her all of the time. Later on, I lived with my dad and he got us a puppy who grew to become a 125 lb Belgian Shepherd named Buddy, so I would take him for walks and to play at the dog park. Now, I have 1 dog of my own who I consider to be my fuzzy child. I love spending time playing with him in the yard, taking him for walks, and grooming & caring for him. I also give him nutritious treats (like vegetables) which he absolutely loves! He is spoiled with all of my love and affection. About: I have had dogs for my whole life and been around all different types. Right now, I have a 5 year old German Shepherd and a 2 year old American Mastiff. I'm able to come to your home while you're away! Whether you're working extra long hours or away on vacation, I can watch your pets when you are gone from home. I only watch pets in their home environments. This is less stressful/traumatic on pets, than a kennel stay. Also, your pet will avoid getting diseases from the other animals at kennel.
