I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone
About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. I try to ask to be shown during a meet and greet your usual routine to try to follow what a day to day would be like if you were at home with them for maximum comfort! I enjoy walks and do not mind going for daily exercise (weather appropriate) or hang in your back yard and play fetch!

I have two awesome fur babies of my own (currently living with their doggo dad in Va), and have had pets for pretty much all of my life, dogs, cats, rabbits, you name it I’ve probably cared for it. I have raised many animals from babes to adults as well. I really just love to give all pets the love and attention they deserve and understand life can get busy but that doesn’t mean we want our four legged family to feel loved any less. I do not currently board at this point in time, but will happily come to you to house sit. I will send you quality iPhone portrait photos of your fur babe and our adventures on request 🤗 My schedule has changed from student to working full time, but I always try to keep my Rover account active and work with the new fur babies when I can! I will make sure all of your recommendations and precautions are very well followed. I always carry extra leashes and items that may be needed, and even if the yard is fenced in, will not leave animals unattended.

About: I’ve taken care all sorts of animals ever since I was a kid. I also showed goats in 4- H for ten years. I graduated high school in 2024 and during high school I volunteered many hours at the Clinton County Humane Society. In June of 2024 I started pet sitting for local families. Since then I have helped take care of many families furry friends including common house pets such as Dogs, Cats, and even Kinkajous! I am currently trying to branch out and make pet care my main job. Which means my availability is usually always open! Don’t be scared to reach out and ask! BOARDING IN MY HOME: I live with my parents out in the country with two dogs in my home and one cat. I have several rooms, gates, and crates that can be used so my pets never come in contact with yours if that is preferred! About: Hi, I say 15 years of pet care experience but I have always had an animal or reptile in the house. Through the years/growing up my family has had a lab, dachshunds, and a lab/pit mix, all ranging from puppy to adult. I also have experience dog sitting for multiple coworkers while they are out of town, so my schedule is flexible as far as weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I absolutely love dogs and am willing to do what it takes to care for them. If they were to come to stay with me there would be a DIY fenced in area to play. Recently got a pup of my own so all must be open to her. She is a full blooded basset who loves to play sleep and cuddle. She loves people and others animals! Just wants someone to play and chase! I’m working full time which is 4 10 hr shifts. Typically no weekends. As long as they can manage to be cooped up that long im very flexible. I can do in home stays which is currently what I’ve been doing. If not they are welcome in my home. Can work with holidays and other needs Walking playing and special needs that may need to be provided. Cleaning up when necessary. Making sure they too feel comfortable with myself and dog of my own. I also have a fully fenced backyard that is maintained without toxic sprays, so your fur baby can safely explore and play. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m a stay-at-home mom and this allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I care for pets as if they were my own while following their normal routine and owner preferences.
