About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. My day pretty much revolves around dogs — and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Since I work from home most of the week, I’m able to keep a flexible schedule full of walks, playtime, and cuddles. My own pups keep me active and in a great routine, so adding another furry friend into the mix feels natural. Even on my in-office days, I make sure every dog gets the attention and consistency they’re used to. I care for every dog as if they were my own. At my home, pups are part of the family — they can lounge, play, and get lots of attention throughout the day. I make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe, and I always supervise outdoor time. When I’m watching pets in their own home, I do my best to keep everything just how they like it. I stick to their regular routine, give them lots of love, and keep you in the loop with updates and pictures so you never have to wonder how they’re doing.
About: I am a dog owner myself, having dogs throughout my whole life. I love any and all dogs and would love an opportunity to meet yours. I’ve had past experience watching both dogs and cats, where I’ve stayed overnight, fed, walked, and cared for pets in various ways. I also have reliable transportation and am willing to accommodate any needs necessary. I am eager to learn anything that will help your pet feel safer and happier while caring for them! I’m free throughout most days this summer, so my attention can be fully on your pets! Other than occasional trips/errands out, I can stay as long as you need with your fur babies! I’m very comfortable doing anything you need within your home for your pets! I can crate if needed, and I love walking if that’s something you’d like your pet to experience.
