About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. About: My furry family has been growing since 2017. We have rescued, puppy trained, and kitten trained and are up to 3 four legged friends in our home! We fostered animals from our local shelter for about a year during covid, however, we failed as foster parents and ended up adopting a kitten from one of our litters. There are more animals in our house then humans and we wouldn't have it any other way! My husband and I currently work from home so are available for walking/check ins whenever you need! About: I have had cats and dogs since the day I was born and I have never had an empty house since. I currently own two cats and a dog myself and it gives me such joy being able to take care of others people's pets. I have watched over friends and families dogs and cats since I can remember and I have never had a bad experience! About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. I strive to provide the best care with the utmost respect for you and your fur baby’s home. If there’s anything I should know about your pet’s care preferences or any neighborhood/environmental concerns, please let me know so that I may keep your pet safe at all times. I have experience with fenced in yards and open areas, as well as plenty of experience with flight risk dogs (those German Shepherds love to run!) and returning them safely home. About: I've been watching pets for a very long time around my neighborhood and i've been wanting to expand my clientele for a while! I have two dogs at home so I know a lot about dogs and about what they need from a caregiver. I work at a small animal vet with a specialty in dogs and cats. I am experienced in administering medications of all types (oral, injectables, transdermal) and am proficient in identifying symptoms of illness. While your pet is under my care, I prioritize making sure they have fresh, clean water, clean environment, exercise, and food as needed. With my experience as a registered vet tech, I understand how each pets needs are different. I currently don’t have any pets of my own so your dog would be my sole focus. I can accommodate any feeding schedule and can accommodate any medications. Your pet will be taken out on a leash for potty breaks and won’t be left unmonitored while outside.
