About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was about 9 years old! I had a hamster growing up and we had two family dogs growing up. I have experience taking care of other people's animals as well as taking care of family pets such as my sister's dog (beagle mix) and my parent's dogs (two Chesapeake bay retrievers and a rescue hound). I also have experience taking care of cats for family & friends! I also have experience helping take care of newborn puppies, as my stepdad breeds Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. About: I’ve had dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember. When I was about 10, I became obsessed with reading about different dog breeds and their needs. My first job actually working with pets was a dog daycare. I loved building connections with the pups and their parents. At this job, I learned defensive handling skills (how to avoid or break up fights or attacks) and how to handle reactive, scared, and stubborn dogs. I work shorter hours on weekends so I’m able to make plenty of time for your baby, plus my wife is always home and will occasionally help care for your pet when I’m not around. I like to have group play or just time outside when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings. I have a fenced backyard that I check for holes daily and an open front yard (leashes at all times out front). I’m able to crate your dog at anytime they might need it and can even have them in a separate room if crates aren’t their thing. Another bonus is that my wife is home just about full time and is able to care for your pet when I’m not around. If I’m at your house, I will take your dog outside on a leash the first few times just to see how they are and to make sure they aren’t an escape artist once mom/dad is gone

I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. The care needed for my senior dogs helped build my knowledge on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be, just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. “Dustin did a great job taking care of Patty with short notice. He was flexible and quick to respond to set up a meet and greet at the last minute when we had a death in the family. Patty enjoyed her day with Dustin and the rest of the pups. She loves meeting new people and pups but can be a bit shy and clinging at first but it was clear from the photos that Dustin provided that she was happy and content while we were away. She isn't used to being around several dogs and Dustin did a great job getting her settled in. She loves laying in the sun and roaming around grassy areas and Dustin's yard was like a big wonderful park for her where she could be off leash and enjoy the outdoors and running. We will absolutely be taking Patty back for just play time with other pups to make sure she stays socialized. She came home tired and happy and it was clear she was very well cared for. My dogs and I often spend a lot of time at the horse barn. They hang with me during my shifts and after we go out for runs with an ATV on their trails! We are Blessed to be able to do this! We often go for walks (weather appropriate) at the park around the corner from our home! Caring for your pet(s) in your home provides the most comfort during your absence! I try to ask to be shown during a meet and greet your usual routine to try to follow what a day to day would be like if you were at home with them for maximum comfort! I enjoy walks and do not mind going for daily exercise (weather appropriate) or hang in your back yard and play fetch!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! Growing up with pets and living on farms gave me a lifelong love and appreciation for all animals. I treat every pet like family, just like my own, and proudly call my son's Corgi my granddoggy! About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I was about 9 years old! I had a hamster growing up and we had two family dogs growing up. I have experience taking care of other people's animals as well as taking care of family pets such as my sister's dog (beagle mix) and my parent's dogs (two Chesapeake bay retrievers and a rescue hound). About: Have taken care of animals most of my life. I usually babysit/check on animals and let them out for our neighbors dogs before we moved from Indiana to Wickenburg. I currently do not have a full time job. My husband is usually gone for work during the day so I am home all day. We do not have a fenced in yard, but can take them out with a leash. I have driven to the far side of Texas, Arkansas, Canadian US boarder, Florida, Ocean side of Virginia and everything in between to rescue Giants from all walks of life and age. At the moment I have 4 St. Bernards, 2 Great Danes, a Mastiff and a Terrior Mix; all brought into my home at different times, at random ages and health; today I have a conducive healthy pack whom are open fed without issue. I have children from newborns to the elderly visit or stay without issue. I homeschool my 3 children. Hourly checks made on food supply available, washing and filling water dishes with clean fresh water. Fenced in dog play ground including tunnels, obstacles, shade and lots of sun! Each year we expand our dog park (1/4 of my yard completely fenced in from 3 access points including 2 walk out points from the house) boundaries and/or obstacles with the intent to keep our 4 leg family members safe, healthy, and happy.

About: IMPORTANT— I will be in Connecticut from 12/20-1/3. All other dates I will be in Indiana. Unfortunately there is no way to specify location for specific dates in Rover. If you have any questions please let me know! I have taken care of pets my whole life (my own and others). I have two of my own dogs currently — at 70 lb Shepherd x Dalmatian and a 25 lb Jack Russel x Aussie, both of which can get rowdy so I am no stranger to high energy pets! I am happy to help work on basic commands and will make sure your pet gets plenty of physical and mental exercise! I am a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking in on pets and I typically like to spend >1 hour with them a day. I can provide medications and/or any specific care that your dog might require. I am a graduate student and my schedule can be flexible! For boarding— my own dogs wake me up at 6 am to eat and then often like to go outside around 8 after some more snoozing. As a student I can be gone from 9-5 occasionally, but more often it is 11-4 or something similar. On average I am gone between 4-8 hours at a time depending on my schedule. During the day we usually play and I give them different enrichment toys. When I am home I let the dogs out frequently to romp in the yard! Dinner is around 5 and then usually a calm evening. My weekends I am usually home for the entire day. For at home visits or walks— I am happy to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I can offer up to 3 visits per day and can spend various amounts of time with your pet based on their needs. For boarding—I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs who are friendly (albeit loud) and would love to run around with your dog! I do have a crate in the house for your dog if needed. When I am gone my own dogs are closed in my bedroom and I would likely close your pet(s) in a separate room as well— your pet does not need to be crate trained if they are non destructive! Because I do have pets of my own any boarded dogs need to be dog and cat friendly. For home visits and walks— I am slow to introduce myself with each visit to make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their home as it can be stressful!! I typically sit with pets before immediately going for the leash to make sure they feel safe. I am happy to spend time with your pets beyond walking/feeding! In am able to stay for longer periods of time in the evenings to play or sit and just spend time with them. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and will prioritize your pets comfort.
