“Mallory was great with machiatto and I was given several updates through the trip. She was super accommodating due to unfortunate flight delays as well. Thank you again!!!”

“Bethany was a fantastic dog sitter. Her communication was excellent, and she regularly sent pictures that showed our dog, Gunner was happy and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Thanks again!”

“Kyungyeon was AMAZING with our depressed doggie! He always mopes and eats very little when we are away, but Kyungyeon would not give up until he felt comfortable and happy in her home! We got so many pictures and updates and I am so grateful for the amazing care she took of our Obi!”

“We received peace of mind by daily checkins with pictures or videos of our little pup. Our Daisy girl was in very good capable loving hands with Gabriel. We highly recommend him and will plan on booking him again if we need it.”

“I am delighted to have entrusted my dog to Ms. Karen. He thoroughly enjoyed his time, evident from the photos she kindly shared. Ms. Karen provided excellent care, and I would certainly choose her services again. Grateful for your attention, Ms. Karen!”

“Kailly is our “go-to”! This is our fourth visit with Martha and definitely not the last. Martha is always well cared for and happy when we come to pick her up. It’s a bit of a drive, and well worth it.”

“Jody was extremely professional, responded exceptionally fast, provided photos, and is very knowledgeable in the care of dogs! He recommended some food options for my pit mastiff who has skin allergies and was very patient and kind to my beagle who has reactivity issues. I highly recommend using his boarding services if you want to feel confident that your pups will be taken care of while you’re away.”

“Kara took care of my sweet kitty Tobi for two weeks while I was away, and I am beyond satisfied with her care for him. He was on two liquid oral medications and she seemed to have no issues administering them. I got some cute pictures a few times and we communicated consistently throughout the two weeks despite there being a big time difference. She was always very prompt to respond and very kind. I went to meet her before we decided to book and she was very sweet and seemed excited about having a kitty in the house with her dog. I highly recommend Kara for anyone, specifically those with a cat, that are looking for someone experienced with medication who updates when needed!”

“How I know Ellie is an amazing sister for Marshall? Just disassembling his crate tells him he is going and he gets very excited. He and their dog are perfect attitude for each other.”

“Amy has a beautiful home where she watched our dog for a week while we were out of town. Our dog can sometimes be timid of new places/faces, but not with Amy. She took great care of him and we saw this in the photo updates she shared. She works from home so your dog almost always has someone to keep them company. We can’t thank Amy enough. Absolutely, we plan to use her again. (This was our second time using her)”

“Janay and her family took such great care of our fur baby! I don't think she wanted to come home. I am so grateful we were able to relax on vacation knowing our baby was in good hands. Janey sent plenty of pics and remained in communication our whole stay”

“Clara did a really good job at taking care of my two boys. I could noticeably tell they were both calm and relaxed when I picked them up. I will definitely rebook. Thank you Clara”

“When we picked up Shadow from her stay, she came back to us exactly how we left her—happy, healthy, and full of energy. All her needs were taken care of, from mealtime and naps to plenty of playtime in the backyard, which made us feel really at ease knowing she was so well looked after.”

“Nanette and her sister were great dog sitters. My dog Nash spent 10 wonderful days with them. They sent photos everyday and I was able to relax on vacation knowing he was in good hands.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have hands on experience with puppies, high energy dogs, and caring for multiple dogs at once. I work part time at a dog grooming shop as a bather, I interact with many different dogs. What sets me apart is my patience, attentiveness, and ability to adapt to each dog’s unique personality and routine. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, bathing, basic training reinforcement, and giving dogs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I genuinely treat every pet like my own and focus on making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits into my schedule as I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible but structured routine. I’m able to balance my job while still making time for pet care during my off days, mornings, evenings, and weekends. I’m reliable with planning ahead so I can make sure each pet gets consistent attention, walks, and care without feeling rushed. Even with a part-time job, I prioritize being fully present and dependable when I’m caring for animals. In my client’s home, I always follow their instructions closely to keep pets comfortable in their normal routine. I make sure pets are safe, supervised, and never left unattended for long periods. I keep water fresh, follow feeding schedules, and provide regular walks, playtime, and attention. I’m careful with doors, leashes, and any safety concerns to prevent escapes or accidents. I also respect the home by keeping it clean, organized, and treating it with care, just like I would my own.

“Thos was my first time using a dog sitter and Rover. I was nervous. Claire was great a reassuring me, assisting with using Rover to adjust my original request, and sending me pictures to show how she was doing. She reached out regarding issues and worked to get Cinnamon to adjust to her. I appreciated her greatly! Would definitely use River and Claire again.”

“Halie did a wonderful job dropping in on our diabetic cat twice per day (feeding, injecting, and giving our cat her love and attention). We're so glad we found her, and will not hesitate to use her again!”

“Synthia cared for our two kitties as drop in visits and did an excellent job. She took care of every detail and is very conscientious. I plan to use Synthia in the future and can gladly recommend her.”

About: I've been surrounded by cats by whole life and bring calm, patience, and genuine affection to every visit. I take time to know each cat's personality, making sure they feel safe and cared for while you're away. Visits include plenty of pets, engaging play, fresh food and water, and a clean litter box. Based in Cincinnati, I'm available for catsitting and drop-ins anywhere in the metro area. My flexible schedule and free weekends allow me to adapt to your cat's routine. I'm experienced with oral and topical medications and always treat every cat as if they were my own.
“Elizabeth was amazing she was thorough and left everything looking fabulous. We had an issue with our cat hiding because my husband left a door to the bathroom open and she was thorough and came back and found him in the closet which was completely our fault but she took time out of her schedule to locate Theo sleeping soundly in the closet. We will be using her again and would like to hire her for our next trip in October.”

I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you're away, and I'll treat your cat as if they were my own.

“Obie always has fun at Gerard's house. He loves the walks and I appreciate Gerard being able and willing to walk him (he's good at pulling on the lease). Already have a 10 day vacation stay scheduled for Obie with Gerard.”

“Jinna and Dui kept Nissy for 5 hours today as a way for them to get to know Nissy and vise versa before she stays with them for a week starting this Friday. Jinna sent pictures and a video during the stay to help alleviate my fears (we’ve never left Nissy with anyone but family before). When I picked her up, she was happy and interacting with Jinna’s dog and another dog Jinna was sitting for…which was really a wonderful surprise because Nissy usually just tries to hide from other dogs. Jinna’s house is very clean and pet friendly, she has a great back yard and she is so sweet and gentle, and is obviously very comfortable caring for other people’s pets. I can finally relax and enjoy myself when we can’t take our pup with us knowing she will be loved and well cared for by Jinna!”

“We were out of town so had a late pickup time but Veronika was very accommodating. Great communications throughout and Blue had a lot of fun! Will not hesitate to book daycare with Veronika when the need arises.”

“As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous leaving our dog with a sitter, but Rebecca & Jonathan did an incredible job and quickly put our minds at ease. They were attentive, trustworthy, and took great care of our dog. We truly appreciated the experience and would absolutely book with them again! 10/10 would recommend!”

About: Hi furry families! My name is Iris and I’m an animal inspired gal. I’m an expert ball thrower (just ask my Kato) and I enjoy walking neighborhoods and sometimes adding a little jog. If their not into adventure I’m also great at cuddling on the couch or floor, giving all the belly scratches and just being present for comfort and security. “Our energetic Doodle could not have been in better hands. My wife often worries about using overcrowded and overstimulating pet daycare. We’re so glad we found Ellie (and her dog Red!). Luna is so happy to go there and we have no doubt she is safe. Bonus that she still comes home tired from all her fun!”

“Max had a wonderful time at his daycare play date with Jennifer and her two pups! I loved all the pics and updates she sent. Looking forward to Max’s longer visit coming up in a few weeks!”

If your buddy needs medicine or special care instructions, I am happy to oblige. “We are very thankful with Gabriel for accepting taking care of our Peanut, and understanding how we feel when we can't be with her, we appreciate the pictures and videos a lot, we see how he cares for her and definitely we recommend him to any pup owners. He is very caring and patient, dachshunds are known for being very particular, he understands her dynamics and kept her calm and happy. We're very fortunate that we found Gabriel. Thanks to Rover too for having people who love what they do and are so caring and professional.”

“Stephanie was amazing!! Took such great care of and was so kind to Ivy. Was very flexible and gave great updates. Was very grateful for all she did for my pup and would definitely book again!”

About: My furry family has been growing since 2017! Over the years, we’ve rescued, puppy trained, and kitten trained our way to a home filled with three four-legged friends. During COVID, we spent about a year fostering animals through our local shelter. We quickly learned we weren’t the best foster parents because we ended up adopting one of the kittens from our very own litter! There are currently more animals in our home than humans, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾 My husband and I both work from home, which gives us the flexibility to provide walks, check-ins, and plenty of love and attention whenever your pets need it! I'm currently working full time but I work remotely so have the flexibility to come check on your animals whenever! We are also available most weekends. We have a fenced in yard, so if play time calls, they can go in and out as much as they want! We have plenty of toys and two dogs to keep them company. We also try to go on walks once or twice a day so they will get their steps in if they like to get out of the house!

About: I volunteer and foster regularly with Homer's Helpers. I have experience with special needs animals ranging from diabetes, epilepsy, fear aggression, and severe separation anxiety.Any pets that stay in our home must be good with other dogs and cats as we have several in our home. I have a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes and have experience with small animals, reptiles, birds (large and small), and horses in addition to dogs and cats. I have had dogs since I was born. I have fostered many different breeds, from mutts, to pit bulls, to Great Pyrenees. Our dogs are Copper (Pom mix 12.5 lbs), Dexter (Golden Retriever 50lbs), and Versace (Pom mix 4.2lbs). All dogs that come to our home must be 30lbs or under as we don't want to risk our littles getting injured when they play. Our front yard is 1500sqft fully fenced and I have secured chicken wire to the bottom to ensure small dogs can't squeeze through. Our backyard is 500sqft fully privacy fenced, so we are able to accommodate dogs that could jump a 3ft. Our homes exterior is completely covered in security cameras so I can monitor the dogs at all times even if they are not in my immediate line of site. I am certified in dog and cat CPR/first aid through PetTech. I recently began a dog grooming apprenticeship. I am very comfortable giving medication, be it pills or injections I know how to do it. Any dogs that board in our home will be given a complementary "Night Night Cookie" as we call it. A buddy biscuit before bed. They are a healthy treat with no corn, wheat, or soy and come in many different flavors for dogs with different allergies. Dogs who board will be kenneled at night, we have crates available for use that are sanitized after each dog. We also feed meals in crates to avoid food aggression. I also offer Boss Dog frozen yogurt for $3 a serving and organic bone broth as a treat or food topper for $2. I can provide a lickimat or Kong filled with organic peanut butter for $2. I am able to provide Blackwood kibble for $2 a day if you forget to pack their regular kibble. We do also have a freezer that we can store raw food if needed. All dogs who board/play in our home must be up to date on vaccines or have a recent tider test. All dogs must be on current HW and flea prevention to be able to come to our home. We also have a dog treadmill that we can have dog boarding with us use to ensure adequate excercise during their stay. All dogs who board/play in our home must be up to date on vaccines or have a recent tider test, this is the policy of the rescue I work with in order to maintain my foster status. I have security cameras on the exterior of my home with all of both yards visible. I am planning on adding cameras in every room in the house. Dogs are crated to eat their meals to prevent food aggression. Toys are not made available until I have monitored how all the dogs in the home interact together on multiple occasions to ensure there is no resource guarding. All cabinets and closets are child locked so no dog is able to open them and get into anything they shouldn't. All dogs who board/play in our home must be up to date on vaccines or have a recent tider test. All dogs must be on current HW and flea prevention to be able to come to our home.
“Joe is helping me out big time with my baby Joey. I am using him recurringly so Joey can get some exercise midday. I would highly recommend. Joey looks forward to going on walks with Joe.”

I also work part-time for the Indiana Pacers and I’m in culinary school as well. Other than working and school, I’m very much a homebody. Despite having a busy schedule, spending time with my furry friends is one of my favorite things to do. I’ve cared for multiple dogs within numerous homes, many times. I just make sure everyone gets as much love and affection as often as they want!
About: I’ve had 14 years of friends, family and neighbors trusting me for walking, feeding, giving baths, playing, gaining trust, building relationships with their furry family members and anything that comes with taking care of dogs 🥰 I’m currently trying to get a full time schedule on Rover. I’ve always wanted to work a job I absolutely love doing, what’s better than taking care of and playing with dogs all day? Nothing! Due to me not working, I have open availability for whenever your fur babies need to be taken care of! I can take care of your pets in any way that makes you comfortable! There will be a lot of playing and cuddles and love!
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child. I have house and pet sit for people in the past. I love animals of all types. About: Your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll be genuinely cared for, safe, and spoiled! I prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication, treating every pet with the same level of care I would expect for my own. “Kendra! You were amazing. Thank you for your patience on our little hiccup today. And especially thank you for walking Grizzly. I love the pictures and I am grateful for your care of our fur baby! Stacy”

About: I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds since I was younger. Family, and friends have relied on me to help house sit, walk, play dates, and take their animals to day care. I’m currently in school online, but I am available to spend time walking the animals during the week and on the weekend. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! I do not have a fenced in yard, living on a huge property that they are allowed to run, but if your dog is an inside animal I am willing to bring him/her to my home. I have two friendly playful dogs of my own, they are a Golden Doodle, and a German Shorthaired Pointer. I am also willing to spend time at your home playing and walking your animals as well. I am willing to do play dates inside and outside.

“Yelena was great! She watched my four month old puppy and did a great job slowly introducing her dogs to him so that he was comfortable. She also sent a lot of pictures and videos giving me updates on how he’s doing. I’ll definitely reach out again in the future.”

“Christina took such great care of our baby Jett! I left knowing he was safe and comfortable in her care. We loved receiving pictures and updates while we were away ☺️ would definitely recommend Christina and we will be using her in the future!”

“Nancy was absolutely wonderful with our little buddy. This was our first time using Nancy and won't be our last. She sent us two sets of pictures to put us at ease that he was adjusting to his surroundings. Thanks Nancy & Mike for our trial run.”

“Amazing sitter for my golden doodle pup. She sent me pictures during his over night stay and kept me updated on how he was handling the loud noises due to it being the Fourth of July, which I was very appreciative of!”
“Jane took amazing care of our 10 month old puppy, and her dog was a great playmate. I felt she cared for our pup as if she were her own. Each evening she’d send a detailed update and several photos and even videos of our happy pup. This resulted in the most worry-free arrangement we could have asked for. Great communication, reliable and kind interaction all around. Very grateful and we highly recommend Jane!”

“Julie R. Is a kind-hearted, capable, compassionate pet lover who was amazing with my dog. She took him for long daily walks and gave him fun exercise time, kept him clean, fed, safe and happy. She paid attention to his little habits, and accommodated him in the most caring, ingenious ways. My dog was in good hands and came home in good shape and tired— just what a dog-owner would want!”

“Having two elderly furry babies makes going on a trip a truly difficult decision. We're so lucy to found this warm and loving family take really good care of them. They send us messages and photos every few days to let us know how our babies are doing, which really puts our minds at ease. Michael & Jessica are gentle and attentive, and their children are also sweet angels who love to spend time with our precious babies.”
