About: Ever since I was around 5 or 6, I always remember being in a home with pets. Whether it was dogs, cats, reptiles, a potbellied pig, and even smaller animals. Older or very young, all of the animals I have had and cared for were very spoiled and given a life well deserved. I love every single animal and couldn't imagine a life without them. I believe that all animals deserve proper care, and a loving home. Any animal is loved as if they were my own. I am currently working at Kroger part time, three days a week. I am going to school full time as well. The days I work at Kroger are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- 5 a.m.- 9 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days I attend school and go all day. I plan on fitting in pet care after working at my job, and possibly weekends. I care for pets in my home or a client's home by greeting them and making sure they have everything they need. This includes making sure they are comfortable enough, with plenty of food and water. I also make sure they get taken outside or have access to use the bathroom often or whenever needed. I previously had a small blind incontinent senior terrier who has since gone over the rainbow bridge, so I understand the extra patience and attention required to make them feel comfortable. I have also raised and house-trained two puppies into adulthood, who are still with my family today! One of them is a unique mix of Belgian Malinois, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, and Rottweiler (Try saying that five times fast!). After raising him, it's safe to say that I'm comfortable with puppy routines, basic obedience training, and how to handle a wide range of temperaments and needs. What sets me apart is that I take the time to understand each dog's routine, personality and comfort level so they receive the best care that fits their individual needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a gentle senior, I will provide the best and reliable care while you are away. I am currently homebound so your fur baby will have my full undivided attention! I recently lost my senior baby so having a temporary walking companion would be great therapy! In my home, your dog will be family. I follow each dog's routine, including feedings times/medications, and any special care instructions provided by the owner. I keep leashes and harnesses ready by the door so dogs are always secured before any potty breaks or walk. If a dog wants to just sunbathe outside, I also have a stake and tie out, so no fence, no problem! To help prevent accidents, stairs and basement access are blocked off at all times, and rooms remain closed. All interactions between dogs will be supervised and there will never be any forced introductions. If a dog needs time to decompress or prefers their own space, I have multiple safe options available, including an end-table crate in the main living area so they can remain close by while I relax, a standard metal crate, and a dedicated quiet room for dogs that may become overwhelmed or simply need a break.

During summers we are available at all waking hours of any days we’re not on a family vacation. During the school year we lose family pet minders during the school day but are available after school and on weekends. I work from home Monday-Friday, and my wife works from home only 3 days a week, allowing a lot of flexibility for potty breaks and play time. We are also home most of the time on weekends. My love for animals brought me to work as a veterinary assistant and later to attend the Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. I have now been training and competing with my own dogs for 20 years and am also a professional dog trainer. As a trainer, I have earned the credentials to be an AKC Canine Good Citizen/S.T.A.R. Puppy/ Farm Dog/ Trick dog evaluator. With my veterinary assistant and dog training experience I have gained the knowledge to properly handle and care for many beloved pets. I can assure you that I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am available most days. Mondays and Wednesdays I am unavailable between 9:00AM-5:00PM. I have plenty of time to provide services for you and your pets. If boarding in my home- you can use my kennel set up or bring your own crate. I have a nice, fenced play yard that I use to let my dogs and visiting dogs run and play (I do not let my own dogs play with visiting dogs). I also have a built-in dog bathtub that I can used to give your dog a nice bath (for an added fee) before they return home upon request. When I visit a home- I follow given instructions and keep the area clean. My goal is for you to not even notice I was there. When I visit to walk your pet-I follow instructions and keep the area clean. I remain aware and not distracted. This ensures your pet remains safe and engaged during the walk. If your dog is more fearful-I try to make the walk as stress-free as possible.
About: I love animals of all shapes and sizes! From being little to an adult, I have taken care of/owned all types of animals. Currently I have a Tibetan mastiff, a keeshond and a Pomeranian! I also have a 125 gallon fish tank. Animals have always been my hobby and I cannot wait to help give you a piece of mind that your loved baby is taken care of while you are away! Scheduling will be dependent on what time is needed. Care on weekends would be open to any time needed. Week days would have to be scheduled. I treat and love all pets like they are my own. I would ensure their safety, and make them feel loved while the family is away!

I love meeting new pets & watching their personalities come to life! I am currently working part time but will still have time for your animals! I also understand how to use proper vocal tones to help dogs learn more efficiently. I have extensive experience caring for dogs both in their own homes and within my own. For visits at my home, I have a partially fenced yard, so I always use a leash for walks within the yard and throughout my safe, friendly neighborhood. My children also love dogs and will likely be around to provide plenty of attention during in-home stays. If I am visiting your home, I can let your pet out into your yard or take them for walks nearby. Please be assured that whenever we are outside of a secured area, your dog will always be leashed. I understand that your dog is a member of your family, and I am committed to providing them with the same love and care I give my own children.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had an animal in my life. I got a puppy at a young age and cared for him up until the day he passed. Since becoming an adult, I adopted a kitten and continue to care for him. He is now 6 and the light of my life! I have an extremely flexible schedule! I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

About: I have a Husky (10) and a Pomeranian (12) who love to play with others. I am open to any age- a puppy who needs training, an elderly pup who needs special attention, and anything inbetween! I am currently home 7 days a week to help with your furry best friend! I am open to a schedule that best fits your needs. I have 2 dogs of my own who love to play with others. I have a fenced in yard for them to run around and play. I can easily cage mine or yours (if preferred) if separation is needed.
